...American Pie - Don McClean This album was originally released in 1971, this is the 1988 CD version, or at least the CD of the 1988 version (says 1988 on CD sleeve, though I do not remember CD's in 1988! Or maybe I just did not have any then, lol). According to various sources this album is amongst the 'best ever' American albums, really? McClean was/is primarily a folk singer and this album, by all accounts was a 'one off', he certainly has little fame apart from this album. The album itself is quite an epic, particularly the title track 'American Pie', a song of over eight and a half minutes that tells a story that is a mix between psychedelia, Americana folk and angsty ballad. ...OK, i admit I am far too stingey to actually buy this stuff, and yes, I admit I have never even heard of it, but when my hairdresser offered me a jar, free gratis, I am not one to look a gift horse in any part of it's anatomy. American Crew is a Company that was not formed until 1994, they sell shampoos, shower gels, shaving accessories, and of course hair gel, or as they call it, wax. I am never sure what the difference is really both seem to do the same job, perhaps wax is stiffer, or dries harder. Advantages: Interesting portrayal of one of Americas most succesful gangsters

...Well, this review is on the new product of the week, which is actually one of my favourite shampoos, "American Crew Peppermint Shampoo". Now like most people I have to be honest I hadn't really heard of the product, although it has been around for some 35 years. ...I was looking to a watch a film that was quite light hearted but not too silly and I have had a collection of films building up for ages so decided to dive into them and see what one I might be interested in. The one I picked out was the film American Dreamz I wasn't really sure what it was about but for some reason after seeing the adverts a while back I had an idea that it was some kind of a political film, this may be to some extent but how wrong could I be. ...Im actually going to enjoy writing this next review, partly because ive probably seen the film a hundred plus times, and yet have never got board of its quality. ...Well my next review again is another film that was made during the 90's. Gosh they really don't make films like they use to. I must admit ive only seen this film twice once in high school and once with my friends, and both times the film just gives you a sense of shock. The film im going to review is the 1998, critically acclaimed "American History X", directed by Tony Kaye and Edward Norton and Edward Furlong. Ok two quick recaps here, Edward Furlong is the guy who was John Connor in Terminator 2, however just a wee bit more older in this film, but he still looks the same. We then have Edward Norton; you might recognise him from his earlier work in Primal Fear and The People vs. Larry Flynt I must admit this review will talk about some cruel and in some cases sadistic scenes, and for that I apologise if it causes any offence...

...Well another day and another movie review, I'm actually get exited about writing a review on this film, because for me it was one of the best films to have been released in 2007.
