...The hairdressing salon that I go to promote the full American Crew brand ranging from wax to shampoo`s, conditioner`s, etc. Whenever I was in having my hair styled this was the brand of product they used so I decided to give American Crew a try. I have a short to medium length hair cut which has various spiky bits which require products which can provide good hold. Lots of the styling gels I had previously used tended to make the hair rock hard and matt it together. ...I was desperate and in search of a shampoo that would thicken my 30 strands of hair, I needed to slow down the exodus of my hair follicles. I have been using wash and go up to this point and by shear chance I had stumbled across a swell shampoo. I was told of a product called American crew shampoo. I was told it adds maximum body and fullness to your hair and adds moisture and shine. The shine bit bothered me, I suddenly thought maybe not, with only having 25 follicles left on my head. They have a name for professional hair grooming products - so they have a reputation in the grooming line for men. My expectations were high - so here iis my review after 1 month of use. They aim their products at men but my wife also likes this product. My hair has been getting drier as i have got older, does not help that i use anything to wash my hair, including body wash so when the wife decided to order some GHD straighteners from Jason Shankey i decided to get some American Crew Daily Moisturizing shampoo since the postage was going to be free and would gain some Rpoints. Price :~ This is a bit of a problem for me, i normally buy things that are BOGOF or buy 2 get 1 free. so paying the £6.60 asking price made my knees buckle. Advantages: Better than Carbolic Soap!

...I was given mine by a hairdresser friend, she got it among dozens of others as samples from a rep, and although she recommends it, she uses another make in the shop. (I believe you ladies call it a saloon). American Crew is a firm which was not formed until 1994, they sell shower gel, and yes shaving accessories, hair gel, plus of course shampoo. I am not doing the traditional thing of listing the ingredients, but the top one is water. Is it easy to use? Yes, it washes well, and rinses out OK too. It comes in a user friendly bottle. Does it smell nice? Not really, smelly toiletries are very much a matter of personal taste, and this one smells like all the rest to me, but that is just my own opinion. Does it do the job? ...The beginning of this film was the most boring I have had to sit through in a while! Things improve somewhat towards the middle half of the film as the war-action scenes take off. As Matthew McConaughey overpowers the crew of the crippled German submarine. The American's sub is destroyed, killing the captain and leaving the remaining Navy men to navigate the German's badly damaged submarine through unfriendly waters. This, then allows Matthew McConaughey the opportunity to prove to all that he is "captain" material as he delegates responsibility and risks the lives of his crew members turning from a friend of all the crew to a great leader willing to make the sacrifices necessary to succeed in his mission. ...Ok where to start, I first got this shampoo as my dad works as a pharmacist and one of the reps came in and gave him some samples of the shampoo. He really cant be bothered with handing all the freebies out to customers so normally he just takes them home for the family to use. At first glance I thought it was an ordinary shampoo for women until my sister was rejecting the sachets and giving them to me. On close inspection I saw that American crew was a company for male grooming. So without hesitation I took the sachets and that was it. I was fixed on a new shampoo. I am not a fussy person. I now have long hair but I normally don't use separate shampoos and products to make it look nice. I don't brush it or dry it so a shampoo like this would seem a weird choice for someone like me. Advantages: Stunning effects, some good acting
Disadvantages: Seen it, done it, got the T-Shirt, and I knoow it may be a novelty for some very ignorant or dense americans (they know who they are) but, in england, historical information is recorded, so we DO know when your bluffing! (take a friendly hint)..

...The english, the french, the american, the german, what does it matter? Well, it obviously doesn't matter that much because this film seemed to have good reviews floating all around its sinking hull and it went down rather well with the cinema audiences. Shame really isn't it? Everyone (apart from anybody that has anything at all to do with this film) realises that the americans were too late (again) nad did absolutely nothing to contribute towards the capture of the enigma code machine - apart from make this film. That in itself was an insult. I'd say it is too little, definitely too late. Matthew McConaughey, the Leiutenant Andrew Tyler, can talk the talk, but can he walk the walk? Leave is cut short and Tyler and his crew are sent on a mission they are not to be told about until at sea. All is a mystery, and Tyler disappointed... Read review

...The crew of the spaceship Znutar are fighting for their lives against the unknown aliens rampaging around their ship in this altogether silly boardgame. If you are looking for some light hearted fun then this game is ideal. It involves the crew of the Znutar using anything and everything to try and find out what kills the hideous one-eyed aliens that are rapidly reducing their numbers. They do have one thing on their side, the robot, who can stand up to a lot more attacks than the crewmembers can. The aliens meanwhile continue breeding and killing senselessly as they attempt to eradicate the inferior beings onboard. ...that it is overly biased in the favour of the author Dan Topolski (now a BBC commentator) but given the small number of people involved in the controversy, the real true events will probably never come out. In 1986 Oxford were comprehensively beaten in the boat race bringing an end to a run of 10 consecutive Oxford wins. Devastated to lose they immediately started looking forward to the following year and how they would regain their crown. One member of the losing crew returned to the United States and returned in the Autumn with some International colleagues.
