Advantages: Nice fragance, girly, sexy, affordable
Disadvantages: Runs out a bit too quickly when I use it!

...beautiful, and I believes comes in a couple of different sizes. The label is very girly and sweet, pastel colours, pinks, a little bit of green, white, and makes up a pretty-looking flower behind the title 'Anais Anais'. The bottom is simple, and looks pretty in a bathroom or on your dressing table. I think the best thing about this perfume is the price, as it is very affordable. I think when I last brought a medium sized bottle, it was about £20, maybe £22, and I don't think it has gone up since then. (Also published on Dooyoo.co.uk)...

...A light and lingering scent that is not too strong, which was bought for me as a gift.... Anais Anais was created by Cacharel in 1978 and is suitable for wearing in the daytime. This light feminine scent possesses a blend of cedar, leather, and blooming fresh cut flowers. Accompanied by white floral notes of gardenia, jasmine, and lily of the valley. The bottle is decorative and flowerly that looks rather chic.. and simple.. i didnt really like the pump of the spray though when you swirt it not much comes out .. i find they should have changed that. It costs approx around 20.00 POUNDS for the smaller sized 30ml Eau de Toilette bottle or approx 28.00 POUNDS for the 50ml bottle. ...When was the product first made? Anais Anais was first launched by Cacherel, in 1978, as a fresh floral fragrance for women. Cacherel now describe it as a 'true modern classic'. Packaging : This is similar to many perfume packagings. A simple cardboard box wrapped in cellophane. The design features peach coloured lilies on a white background with grey outlines, as does the bottle. It is in very muted shades, so does not jump off the shelf at you. What the bottle is like: The bottle is white, unlike most perfume bottles that are transparent or coloured. Again, the bottle features peach coloured lilies with soft grey outlines. Cacharel Anais Anais Eau de Toilette Spray 30ml for $14.95 Also available as a Body Spray, 150mls for £14.99 and a Body Moisturising Lotion, 200mls for £10.99 It comes packaged in a simple white box with the logo and perfume design on it. The bottle too is beautiful crying out simple elegance. I have tried all three of these products and find them absolutely irresistable. The scent is soft and not at all over-powering, but at the same time strong enough to last all day. The strength of the scent is exceptional, after wearing it, you can smell it on your jumpers and coats for weeks after the original application. Perfume smells different on everybody, which is great as it adds that unique touch to whatever scent you choose to wear.. Anais Anais for grown ups

Advantages: fresh, light, enduring, makes heads turn
Disadvantages: I don't like the bottle and the top works itself loose very quickly.

...If you wore Anais Anais 10 years ago and loved it then this is a must for you. It's got that warm, fresh summer feeling but also a generous helping of "get your kit off" that was lacking in the late 80's adolecents favorite. I feel energised and edible when I wear it, it's been commented on by more of my friends and collegues than the heavy, musky scents. But, unlike other fresh, flowery perfumes this one does not fade too quickly and ensures an edible whaft follows your every move. It's a really excellent daytime/casual perfume. I can also highly recommend the matching shower gel....

A Youthful Fragrance.

Advantages: It tends to suit mature skin.
Disadvantages: It is a bit pricey..put it on the Christmas pressie list.

If I am buying a special outfit that may only be worn once then I always make sure and take advantage of the sales, there are many stores that are even offering sale prices on sale goods, so there is an excellent chance of finding a bargain. The perfume counters in the department stores are wonderful and I am drawn to them like a bee to a honey pot. I already have a fair amount of perfume in one way or another but some of it may well be past its sell by date by now, anyway I needed to treat myself to something good. A Hint of the Boudoir?

Advantages: Not overly expensive
Disadvantages: Not so much for the evening as other perfumes

...I tried this perfume range because I could get it really cheaply on a holiday in Jersey and a friend had recommended it. I use Chanel no 5 almost exclusively but now and then I like a change and this one is a really good alternative. A relatively "young" perfume - designed in 1978 - Anais Anais is a fresh, flowery fragrance - a blend I think of lily of the valley, gardenia and jasmine - it is fresh and light but still has some staying power. I like to use the body crème which matches the perfume I am wearing for that lovely all over fragrance. This crème is not too greasy and is easy to apply. The containers might not be quite as elegant as Chanel but the flowered containers are pretty, although they rather give the impression that they are for younger women with a hint perhaps of the boudoir! Worry not it suits all ages...
