Graphic adventure game for the Wii - And Then There Were None

Advantages: Good to see games of this genre back!
Disadvantages: Bit difficult, not as polished as the game could be

...This review is for the Nintendo Wii game, Agatha Christie ? And Then There Were None. The game was released for the Wii in February 2008, having already been released on the PC. This game is based on the Agatha Christie of the same name, and is the first time that this title has been turned into a computer game. The Wii version of the game is a graphic adventure game, so you have to read the text and then click on items using the Wii remote to be able to progress through the game. The game is based quite closely on the book, and permission had to be given by the owners of the Christie?s estate to be able to make changes to the book. The main one is that you play the part of Patrick Narracott, a character which turns up on the island and then discovers that at least someone has murderous intent. ...the band (well the remaining members of Banks, Rutherford and Collins) still had their sense of humour intact. The cover looked good so I was all set to listen to the latest extraordinary instalment from Genesis. There was a vague sense of foreboding when I noticed there were 11 tracks on this album (remember this was in the days of vinyl, with a forty minute limit before groove cramming hits) , but by worries were assuaged by the excellent opener "Down and Out". Then... Nine Tracks... Of... Absolute... Pap... I couldn't believe this. The disappearance of Hackett's guitar had rendered the band into a bland keyboard dominated monstrosity. Advantages: great album from the master
Disadvantages: not as many ood tracks as flesh of my flesh blood of my blood

...DMX has new album out. Its called ... And Than There Was X Once again X is back with another great album which again proves that he is up there with the best in the rap game. This new album has it all a deep meaning, great tunes, and the beats are pumpin. X just can not be touched and this new album proves that when you are true to the industry then the industry will be true to you. I love how DMX uses his life experiences on this album to express himself and his anger. X has always been the rapper to tell you just how he feels whether you like it or not and this time its no different. This album however, still does not quite have that touch that 'Its Dark' had but, I still think just as highly of this album. Ten Little WHATs?

Advantages: The story
Disadvantages: The acting, the comedy

...Ten people are gathered on a remote island, including a butler and his wife, for the weekend. None of them claim to know their host who invited them and one by one they start being killed off just after their host Mr U N Owen lets them all know that he is accusing each of them of having killed someone else. Are they all guilty of the crimes they?re accused of? Who is Mr Owen? Does anyone make it off the island alive at the end of the weekend? And Then There Were None was adapted from a 1939 Agatha Christie novel into this 1945 film with a cast including Barry Fitzgerald, Walter Huston, Louis Hayward, Roland Young, June Duprez and C Aubrey Smith. Party Up In Here?

...DMX released his third album in 1999, ?...And Then There was X? saw a significant shift in the Yonkers-raised rapper, who had gone from Horrorcore the year before (when he dropped two separate albums) to club bangers for the mainstream listeners, and away from the underground. 1. ?The Kennel? (Intro) 2. ?One More Road To Cross? This track has a very grungy and grimy feel to it, it's the only description I can come up with, but you would understand if you had a listen to it. This style really it?s in with DMX's voice and lyrical delivery, so his style is heavily complimented by Swizz Beatz' production. ...For me, the era of the point and click adventure seemed dead and buried until the Wii was released. The remote is perfect for the job as it does exactly that, point and click. Another thing that I look for in games of this genre is a good immersive storyline, one you can lose yourself in, and use to escape from reality. So when a game with the famed name "Agatha Christie" was released, I was naturally curious. Surely a game based on the novel "And then there were none" by the woman herself couldn't fail, could it? Graphics The game tries to set the mood with awful and simplistic visuals. In addition to this, the character animation is just as bad.
