Well written account of Peter Andre's life

Advantages: Well written, nice pictures included, interesting read
Disadvantages: Not challenging reading but it isnt expected really!

...I went to a book signing in Basingstoke this weekend to meet Peter Andre, and obviously I had to buy a copy of his new book for him to sign. Now if I had known in advance, I would have ordered it online to save a few pennies, but I had to buy in the shop at full price so I thought, well I have had to spend £7.99 on this, I may as well read it! So when I put my son to bed, I sat down on the sofa and started to read. If I am honest, I got totally engrossed in this autobiography. The book starts off with a lot of acknowledgements to his wife and his family, but obviously this bit in the book is optional. It then moves onto the first part which is Peter Andre's childhood in England and in Australia. I was surprised at some of the revelations in the book, such as that he was racistly bullied when he moved to Australia, and he clearly...

Disadvantages: EVERYTHING!!!

...After his appearance on I'm a celebrity Peter Andre has tried to re-launch his music carrier. Back in the early nineties he had a hit called Mysterious girl which was very poor to say the least, but when he saw the chance he tried to re-launch his carrier after the series of I?m a celebrity. After the show he re-released Mysterious girl and has now done Insania which people were talking about as he write it whilst in the jungle. ...The whole Katie Vs Peter thing has been given way to much attention in my opinion. I used to be a big fan of the couple , but since the split , I think I am on Peter's side , even though I was always a bigger fan of Katie while they were together , although since they've split up , Katie has proven just how immature and childish she really is ; whilst Peter has come out the mature one , although having said that keeping quite and acting mature was probably all a publicity stunt. The love of a Child

Advantages: Funny but sad at times, you can feel the love.
Disadvantages: None

...I watched this film and I was so moved by the young girl and her love for this Seal. A true story. I can't say yes it is because I really don't know but if I was in that little girls shoes then I would have to say I would do the same thing. It was funny and sad. Its the sort of film that you either love it or hate it and im sorry but I loved it and so did my kids. There are people in this world that doesn't believe that this sort of thing can happen but im one that does believe. When you see this film the part that made me mad was the other fisherman who tried to kill Andre, I kept thinking just let me get my hands on you. Silly I know but I just got into the film. Thats what happens with this film you get drawn into it....

It's Insania!

...My fourteen-year-old daughter is a big fan of Katie Price aka Jordan. She has her books and thinks she's wonderful. So it was that we ended up with a copy of Peter Andre's autobiography in our house. It was a library copy and I found it in my daughter's bedroom. It was due to go back, but I thought I'd read it first - so I did. I wouldn't say I was a big fan of Katie Price or Peter Andre, but I don't mind them and wish them nothing but happiness. I even saw Peter in concert a couple of years ago, when he did a gig in Bristol after coming out of the jungle. My daughters wanted to see him, so we took them and it was a good show. I read a lot of autobiographies and I'm not really of the opinion that someone has to be a certain age to write their life story. If you've got something interesting to say, that's fine, write a book. Peter...

...When I was in USA recently, I saw a very interesting documentary on the life and times of this extraordinary player so I thought I would share my thoughts on him with my ciao chums. The Long Road Back

Advantages: Good singing
Disadvantages: A little dull in places

...The last UK album release for Peter Andre was the 2002 "Very Best Of" collection. With all the hype and criticism about Peter's mixed fortunes over his 11 year recording career, it's easy for people to ignore the fact that while the material may not always be top notch, the man has a great voice. The aptly titled "The Long Road Back" contains a mixture of styles and Peter works with a variety of other writers. Musically, it's a combination of his previous albums - some songs sound like out-takes from his debut 1993 album "Peter Andre", while others have an R 'n' B/pop/disco feel, much like the material on "Natural" (1996) and "Time" (1997).
