Not as good as Nell McAndrew's other DVDs.
Advantages: The free weights work and abs work is excellent.
Disadvantages: The second workout is boring and monotonous.
...If you are going to buy a Nell McAndrew exercise DVD then I would buy her Maximum Impact or Ultimate Challenge DVDs. This DVD can get a bit boring.
Like the other two DVDs it is divided up into 3 sections. The first workout is 10 minutes and is basically a warm up that takes you through a number of the exercises that you do in the Interval Training. The second workout is when all the hard work is done. It does really hurt and it will take a few times before it is possible to do the whole thing. I find this aerobics session quite boring as it is mostly just running on the spot with various different arm movements. This section in the other two Nell DVDs are much much better.
However, the second workout does end with some brilliant free weights work. You can really feel your arms hurting and your muscles working during these...

FREE DVDs
Advantages: Free trial, large choice, post included, new realeases
Disadvantages: see review
...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. I had just left Tesco (with my new DVD player) so I chose to go back with them.
∆◊◊ THE SERVICE THEY OFFER ∆◊◊
Basically it?s like going to a video shop and hiring films on DVD, except you don?t pay for each film you chose ? rather a monthly fee for which you can watch as many movies as you can fit in, for us this is usually around 8 a month (2 a week usually weekends...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54
Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.
...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

Juice me up Andrew!
Advantages: Thicker looking hair with a lovely shine
Disadvantages: Only available from Asda
...I came across this product in Asda last week when I was looking for something to give my fine hair a bit more body. At £3.00 for 250ml I thought it wasn't too expensive and if it didn't work, as so many different products I've tried didn't, well at least I hadn't wasted too much money.
It comes in a tall cylindrical black plastic bottle with a lift off top and has a spray applicator. The words Shiny Happy Hair Andrew Barton Big Hair Lifting Juice Body Building Style Spray are written in green and white on the front of the bottle.
I must confess I've never heard of Andrew Barton but on doing some research I discovered he had been in the hairdressing business for over 25 years tending the hair of the rich and famous. His new haircare range has been sold exclusively from Asda since 2007.

Andrews - If You've Got A Hangover Read On.....
Advantages: It really does work
Disadvantages: Quite Expensive
...Nothing attracts less sympathy than a self-inflicted injury.
I wonder how many of you out there, like myself, have over indulged the night before. You know the one, you've overdone it on a combination of too much food and alcoholic drink. You wake up with a head that feels like its been bludgeoned by a house brick, and a taste in the mouth that leaves you wondering if you attempted to eat the bedroom carpet last night.
If any of this sounds familiar then please read on??
I always keep a tin of Andrews Salts in my bathroom cupboard for such an occasion, because one thing you can be certain of when all your friends say, "I told you so" you can always rely on Andrews to be your friend in your hour of need.
So what are Andrews Salts?
Andrews are made by Glaxo-SmithKline-Beechams, based on an old anti-indigestion remedy. It is...

Andrew 'Freddy' Flintoff
Advantages: national hero christened Freddy
Disadvantages: non-existent now
...What can be said about England's favourite cricketing son that hasn't previously ? Christened 'Freddy' since the early days of his career, the big Lancastrian with 'that' cheeky grin that any cricket follower will know of, has become the favoured son of the England cricket team. England's recent sucess against the West Indies in the Caribbean, followed by sucess on home soil against New Zealand and now backed up by England's 4-0 test crushing of Brian Lara's boys, was in part down to Freddy's form with bat and ball.
Name: Andrew Flintoff
Born: 6th December 1977 (Lancashire)
Batting: Right-hand batsman
Bowling: Right-arm fast-medium
Whereas he used to get out frequently by skying a loose shot, he now plays with a careness to his game, rather than just smacking it into row Z. His form for Lancashire has gone largely unnoticed...

St Andrews in Summer
Advantages: Refreshing, friendly, plenty to do for all the family
Disadvantages: Often cold and wet, some activities very expensive
...St Andrews, best known perhaps to golfers the world over, is a beautiful, peaceful place for a holiday. I was lucky enough to go there for two weeks every Summer all through my childhood, since my grandparents lived there; their house was large and accommodated our family easily, giving a great base for trips out to the beach, shopping, explorations, and many other activities.
? Climate ?
Situated in a bay on the East coast of Scotland, St Andrews has some of the loveliest stretches of beach in the country. The West Sands were the scene of the opening shots of the film 'Chariots of Fire', with coastline stretching for miles, the water clear and inviting, the sand perfect for children to make sandcastles and channels to the sea. Being on the coast, the weather is temperate - it rarely freezes in winter, but equally...

Andrew's Price is Right!
Advantages: Fantastic service to make you feel special!
Disadvantages: Some services may be a little expensive
...Last week, I decided that I needed a haircut (badly), but there was a problem. My local hairdresser had recently moved to a different location on the other side of town. Always up for a change, I started looking round on the net for salons in Swansea. I came across the Good Salon Guide, which had a few highly rated salons in my home town so I compared prices. Then, I found a five star salon which was of a reasonable price! I gave them a ring, and a friendly woman took my details and gave me a booking for two hours later with one of their designers. My sister wanted her hair cut too so she got an appointment after me with the same designer.
Before I describe the visit, I'll tell you a bit about the business.

Andrew Collinge Twirl and Curl
Advantages: Cretes well defined long lasting curls
Disadvantages: bulkier than most tongs
...I brought this curling tong when it was on sale for £10 a few years ago. It came with a free tube of Andrew Collinge Design and Shine wax aswell. I already have a natural wave to my hair but I like to experiment with different ways of styling my hair.
The tong is stylish and modern looking and a nice shade of blue. I found it pretty easy to use on the front and sides of my hair, however I found it fairly difficult to use at the back as it's bulkier than I'm use to, but not impossible. I found it helped to create well defined and long lasting curls in my hair. The tong also has a steam function, however I can't comment on how well that works as I didn't use it as I've found in the past steam makes my hair go frizzy....

The Doll's House Restaurant, St Andrews
Advantages: great selection of food, good cheaper options, nice ambience
Disadvantages: feeling rushed, rubbish veg selection
...The Doll' House Restaurant in St Andrews is a very popular restaurant among tourists, locals, students, and St Andrews very cosmopolitan transient community.
It is owned by Simon Littlejohn (of Littlejohn's restaurants) and Alex Knight, who I think have owned it for about 13 years together. The Doll's House Restaurant is the flagship restaurant of the group 'House Restaurants' - which also include - The Grill House (St Andrews), The Glasshouse (St Andrews) and The Riverhouse (Stirling). All of these restaurants have their own style, ambience, and each focuses on a particular genre of food.
The Doll's House is a bistro style restaurant which claims it focuses on Scottish cuisine with a French twist - which I think in the majority is true - but their Hungarian Goulash, and the Cantonese monkfish stirfry which I saw on the menu...
