Review of Lift-the-flap Animal Book - Rod Campbell

Amusing Animation

Advantages: A sequel that gives more of the same with a twist more adult fun - Puss is inspired!
Disadvantages: Original songs weren't used and characters revoiced for the British version

.... The animation is, yet again, of an excellent standard. Even the more minor characters appear to have a great deal of time and effort devoted into making them seem as rich and detailed as the rest. Obviously Princess Fiona, Shrek and Donkey all appear similar to their first outing, but even these characters are a tiny bit more detailed. The real genius is in the new characters. The two that particular caught my eye were Puss in Boots and Fairy Godmother. Puss's fur appears to have texture as it ruffles and flattens to show his mood, whilst his eyes are able to open up into large watery pools; whilst the Fairy Godmother seems to have real brightness in her rounded cheeks and twinkling eyes that are able to shift at the slightest moment to show her more threatening side.   Animal Crossing goes urban

Advantages: You get to go to the city, better graphics

...After playing Animal Crossing on the DS for a couple of years and finding that the game hadn't lost any of its addictiveness, we decided to get the Wii version. We were unsure what the differences would be between the DS and Wii versions as the only noticeable difference in the TV ads and on the packaging was the subtitle 'Let's go to the city'. I also spied a bus on the adverts that definitely wasn't in my old DS version. The back of the box alludes vaguely to what the differences are, but it didn't really explain it very clearly. However, the lack of explanation and the super cheesy adverts on TV with girls playing over the internet didn't put us off and, as we had some GAME vouchers, we decided to buy it anyway. Animal Crossing on the Wii

Advantages: Fun, easy

...Animal Crossing: Let?s Go to the City: Wii Until Christmas I had never heard of the animal crossing games but the other half got me this with my Wii because it looked ?cute?. I really enjoy it. On Let?s go to the City you arrive at your town, (which you can name), after a ride on a bus and a chat with a mouse who tells you a few things and let?s you choose your name etc. When you arrive at your ton you need to head on over to the Town Hall, (you have a handy map to help you find your way around), and then buy a house. You get a hefty mortgage and you have to earn cash, (by selling bugs, fish, fruit etc), to buy clothes, furniture and of course to pay off your debt. As you pay off your mortgage you can upgrade your house which gives you another hue chunk of debt to work off! Your town will change as the year progresses with fishing...

...****Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City**** Originally this version was meant to come out in January last year but did not make it into the shelfs until around November.Because of the high rrp (47.99 with wii speak) i didn't buy it until the end of December with my play funds ,was it worth it? i think so. **Price** £47.99 with wii speak £34.99 without (wii speak costs 22.99) At the minute this game is still rather expensive and i probably wouldn't have bought it if i hadn't had the playfunds.The gamecube and ds versions are slightly cheaper but i think it is worth paying that little extra for the wii speak and so that you can visit your friends towns and they can visit yours(don't think you can do that on the gamecube)Plus its only a couple of pounds more expensive and you can use the wii control instead of the gamecube...

Today I am suggesting the box of lego Animals 29728. This box contains 13 pieces. These are a dog , a sheep, a pig , a horse , a man and a wheelbarrow, and a flower . Plus I yellow 4 stud brick, 3 green 4 stud bricks and 2 green 8 stud bricks. These coloured bricks can be used to represent grass, hay, straw. The animals do not have moving parts, but the base /feet of them are holes that will fit into the studs of the bricks. The horse has a stud in his back so some of the Duplo people can sit on and ride him. The man has those c shaped cup hands that will hold other suitable Duplo pieces. The flower has a stud in the centre so will fit...

Battle between Humans and the Animal Gods

...This is a review on a recently purchased anime film, and also recently released into the UK called Millennium Actress which was done in the year 2001 by Director Satoshi Kon whom did Perfect Blue in 1997. Satoshi Kon also wrote the story of the film also, so it is completely his film. It starts off with a space shuttle, and a women going into it, with a man screaming 'you don't have to do this' and that type of thing, then after that the film flashes to these two director, camera people. They are in search of the most famous star from their studio as the studio is being torn down. The most famous actress they had is called Chiyoko Fujiwara who is now in her 70's, and she tells her tale of how she became the Millennium Actress. The tale will split between many different periods of life, will go to 1930's to samurai times in Japan...
