Reviews of antec fan
Good fan at an equally good price
Review of Antec TriCool Fan unit by
Closeratio
Advantages: Relatively cheap, 3-speed settings, nice blue colour
Disadvantages: Quite audible when on high and even on medium
...and they're made by Antec so you know they're reliable. If you do want a quieter fan however, go for the Sharkoon SIlent Eagle range of fans, they tend ot be the quitest on the market. They even do glowing blue ones now I believe.
The tricool though is a good reliable fan at a good price...

Antec P180B PC Case
Review of Antec Performance One P180B by
rickyshah
Advantages: Quiet, solid, good cooling
Disadvantages: Big, heavy, expensive
...that is a sign of quality :)
Great! But beauty is only skin deep. Inside its…..
----------------------------------------------------------------
….crazy, actually. After opening up the case (using the thumbscrews - very user-friendly) you are greeted by the guts of what could be the most complex case I've ever come across. There are separate compartments for PSU, HD's and the main system board. Most cases, in comparison, have just the one or maybe 2 compartments. The PSU fits at the bottom of the case, behind a rather industrial fan (it's a 120mm, fact fans, but its also a custom Antec one that's 2 inches deep). In front of this is Hard drive area number one, which uses an innovative, though fiddly, cage system to mount the drives. The drives themselves are mounted on rubber grommets that really quieten them down.
There is another HD cage...

Antec HD Cooler
Review of Antec HD Cooler by
ilaskey
Advantages: Well built, looks nice, works well
Disadvantages: Instructions a bit vague, cheaper options out there
...Modern PCs are getting warmer inside. Faster processors and graphics cards all mean a lot more heat being generated. To add insult to injury, hard drives are also getting faster and hotter. The bad news is, hard drives don't much like being too hot. If you want to ensure your data remains safe and sound, you may want to consider some extra cooling just for your hard drive(s). Enter the Antec HD Cooler.
Installation
The Antec HD Cooler consists of a well made aluminium jacket which holds the drive and a front panel which contains two fans and a temperature display. The package also consists of a pair of thermal probes, one for the drive and one for the case, some screws and 4 pieces of thermal tape. A switch lets you select between Celsius and Fahrenheit display modes. I'd recommend you set this before fitting the drive unless you...

Antecs High End Gamers Case
Review of Antec P180 Advanced Super Mid Tower by
sirusvirus
Advantages: Innovation with a Decent Price Tag
Disadvantages: Nothing
...The Antec P180 has been around for a long while now, and with the launch of the Antec 900 aimed specifically at gamers, Im here to suggest that you might want to re-think that purchase.
The interior of the P180 is truly innovative, with the power supply unit located at the bottom of the case instead of the top, it has it's own 120mm fan, which is around 38mm thick, to suck cool air from the front of the case, over the hard drives (too cool them) and then pushes the hot air from the PSU out through the rear without it heating up the case.
It also has another 2, yes 2 120mm fans fitted as standard (most cases come with one 80mm), but antec have been generous, and being multi-level fans with speed control they've been super generous.
One of these 120mm fans acts as an exhaust for hot air in the roof, to loose that heat also...

Antec 550W server class psu
Review of Antec TruePower 550 EPS12V - power supply - 550 Watt by
positivereflect
Advantages: Compatible with newer 24pin motherboards and EPS12v Server boards, High wattage, Silent fan operation
Disadvantages: Needs adapter to use with 20pin motherboards,
...think that something was missing from the q-tec one the weight difference was that big.
The power supply fan is very silent in operation, and there is even two connectors marked "fan only" to run other fans depending on the temperature in the power supply.
In use i have had no problems at all with this powersupply, my system has been 100% stable at all times - even when overclocked!
The problem with a generic/cheap power supply is that over time, the regulators and other associated circuitry inside them burn out or they dont regulate the voltage very well. This can cause burning of a motherboard, instability and crashes, strange error messages, and can even cause the power supply to go pop (taking the rest of your computer components with it).
I would recommend antec power supplies to anyone and now use ONLY antec when i build...

Antec P180 Enclosure
Review of Antec Performance One P180-EU by
Samuel18
Advantages: Awsome for gaming PCs
Disadvantages: more difficult to build than with other cases
...plates, and the front door spans the entire height and swings round flat against the side of the case when opened.
Inside there are two 120mm fans, one over the card slots and the other up top so that when heat rises it blows the air out the top. The side panels are 3 layers thick - plastic sandwiched between two layers of aluminium which do a lot to dampen the sound of the fans. Antec even helps reduce power supply vibration with silicone rubber padding.
The P180 has attractive styling, solid construction, fantastic airflow and cooling, and excellent sound dampening, but there are drawbacks. The P180 suffers from being more challenging to build a PC into than your average case. So a little extra patience is required but its well worth it.
Width = 206mm
Height = 541mm
Diameter = 505mm...

Antec Nine Hundred Advanced Gaming Case
Review of Antec Tower by
avenger7855
Advantages: plenty of drive bays, and excellent cooling
Disadvantages: mother board tray isn't removable, and component installation isn't tooless
...The Antec nine hundred gaming case is a great case for anyone who perhaps has a confident amount of knowledge, to build there own desktop computer.
It has many drive bays that can be configured to your personal preference, this is possible as the internal 3.5 inch drive bay cages are removable and can be repositioned, also each drive bay cage can house up to 3 hard drives.
There are three different drive bay setups:
3 external drive bays - 6 internal drive bays
6 external drive bays - 3 internal drive bays
9 external drive bays
Each drive bay has plenty of ventilation, and each hard drive cage has a blue L.E.D fan included to cool the hard drives. Also an optional 20mm fan can be added to one of the cages for CPU, video card, or power supply cooling.
On the top of the case there is a huge 200mm Tricool exhaust fan...

Antec quality for a reasonable price
Review of Antec Solution SLK3700BQE by
simcox1
Advantages: Solid build quality
Disadvantages: Slightly flimsy front door
...I have recently purchased this pc case which I paid around £60 for from ebuyer.com. I bought it for a first build and wanted something reasonably good . It wasn't my first choice and would probably have prefered something slightly smaller ie a mini tower. This one is about 5cm taller than the antec mini tower.
The quality of this tower is excellent. It is very solidly built and I found it fairly easy to maneouvre around inside it. The asus motherboard was a bit of a squeeze and I also had to change the i/o panel as the one fitted wasn't compatible. However other than that it was fairly easy.
There are numerous power leads. There are four cables each with two 4 pin power connectors on them, and two of them also have a small 3 pin connector for eg the fan. There are also leads for connecting the front USB ports and the front LED...

Silence s'il vous plait
Review of Antec LifeStyle LS138 Sonata-UK by
rickyshah
Advantages: Almost silent
Disadvantages: Need second fan
...that is available separately, as this is a silent model with only one fan – as opposed to the two the model available to purchase separately has. When running, the noise that the PSU makes is indetectable. Antec PSUs are renowned for their quality, and I would certainly prefer this PSU sitting in my PC than a cheap 500W unbranded one. In operation, the PSU is barely audible.
Continuing with the fan theme, the case comes with one large120mm fan mounted at the case’s rear end to keep the case cool, and space for one more, in a unique position behind the hard drives. Most cases only come with space for 80mm fans – the larger sized fans greatly increase cooling capacity with minimal impact on noise. When connected with the special fan connectors of the PSU, the provided case fan runs quietly, albeit slowly. However, when connected with the standard...

My First Overture
Review of Antec LifeStyle Overture II-UK by
LegendaryMrDude
Advantages: Looks, Cooling, Build Quality, Design
Disadvantages: Price, Size, Noise
...is on but ideally quiet enough that you don't notice it when the TV is off. It's at this point that I would mention how surprisingly noisy PCs actually are... If you've never listened to one before, you probably wouldn't consider it but the shrill, incessant whine of a hard drive and the low rumble of various cooling fans can become obtrusive in the setting of a lounge, particularly when they're ever-present. On this point, the Overture II scores only reasonably - while it comes with the usual Antec array of rubber grommets for mounting fans and Hard drives and while they do dampen the noise of those components, it also comes with a varied assortment of fans and blowers to shed heat from the case. Combined with large areas of highly ventilated case (there's lots of vents, holes and grilles all over it), this actually results in a moderately noisy...
