Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. ...This album came out in 1999, I bought it in 2000, after hearing I need to know, whilst on holiday in Turkey, (a vain attempt to keep my holiday memories alive!). Marc Anthony is a Puerto Rican New Yorker, a Nuyorican, as they have decided to call themselves. He has been around for some years, I believe this is his first English language album, but don't quote me on that. After reading all the views on how appauling it was i nearly didnt buy it, However i like to find out for myself as i noticed many views were not broken down or in detail. I also noticed many people seemed to be slamming it for being unprofessional so at 1.99 i wasnt worried if i lost my money. I am glad i did this. The dvd is broken into sections. When i first put the dvd on the first section i must say is lame. The music i would not class as 70s and i wanted to know where were the words! I watched closey and yes anthony does not give you much direction,however the moves arent that hard if you are flexiable and arent ashamed of jumping around. ...stayed in there box for longest got a 3 course meal and treats for 3 days. Anthony, Roberto and Derek won. While people where in the boxes people took it as an oppertunity to "torture" other housemates whilst in the boxes! Kemal put some disgusting stuff in Roberto's box and a loo brush! There has been other great tasks like a dog training course, Cowboy stuff, gymnastics, crying, holiday resorts etc. Also housemates get puton SECRET MISSIONS where they have to complete a task on their own without anyone else finding out. ONe of my favourites was when Orlaith had a love buzzer and she had to hide it on her. When big brother set off te love buzzer she had to hug the housemate nearest her and say she loved them and compliment them! As it vibrated Makosi felt it and she didn't get tohug her so she failed the task! I thought it was really funny...

It has brilliant illustrations that are basic yet effective, and a tale told in the simplest yet most effective of terms. It is the story of the Piggots.
