Siana Anti Wrinkle Night Cream
Review of Siana Anti Wrinkle Night Cream by
JodaleneC
Advantages: Very light and refreshing with subtle fragrance
Disadvantages: None that I have experienced
...I am 24 years old and although some people may think this is a young age to begin using Anti Wrinkle Creams, you would be wrong. Many beauticians have advised me that the ideal age to begin using these products is around 21 years old.
I have tried many face creams in the past, anti wrinkle and general moisturisers. But I have to say that I have fallen in love with Siana Anti Wrinkle Night Cream. I apply the cream at night after fully cleansing my face and I find it a very satisfying product.
The cream is very light with a subtle refresshing fragrance. And although I have found several night creams to leave my skin feeling greasy in the morning, this is not the case with Siana Night Cream. I wake to find that my skin looks very refreshed and feels silky smooth with no geasy residue.
You can buy 50ml of this cream for under £2 which...

an expensive treat for a tired face and body
Review of ROC Retin-Ox Correxion (Intensive Anti-wrinkle cream) by
jeangibson
Advantages: few- no allergic reaction
Disadvantages: disappointing- mean size tubes, expensive
...I had read about it, heard the ads on TV and decided I would try it as a special treat. It cost more than three times as much as what I usually use for night cream and eye cream, and anti cellulite (had not tried that before) The promise seemed to be that if you use the products for a number of weeks, you will look younger (slimmer) at the end of the period. Sadly the anti cellulite cream (used on underarms and thighs and mid back sparingly) did not last long enough to complete the test. I wonder how many cans I would require to last a full eight weeks and use night and morning on all areas affected?
We buy these miracle creams to make us feel good about ourselves, a magical experience against the ravages of aging. I still have wrinkles under and around the eyes, just as strongly as before I used the correction fluid. I am going back...

'Chantelle-ly Face.' (**UP-DATED**)
Review of Chantelle Cucumber and Apple Anti Bacterial Face Mask by
bistro
Advantages: Price. Generous amounts in sachets. Not animal tested.
Disadvantages: Odd, temporary pinky-redness to face after application, and warm sensation towards end of drying process. Accessibility.
...For some strange reason my teenage son and I, have almost always coincided with our medical ailments. Whenever he’s had a bug, virus or cold, I have too, and strangest of all was when we even had chicken pox at the same time! (Not recommended at the age of 39 yrs!)
So when he began to sprout the notorious teenage spots and zits, I thought due to his age, here would be where our medical paths would part? But no, it seems I am embarking on a delayed adolescence, as I too have had similar eruptions on my face. Now his outbreaks are excusable and even pitied, whereas mine being middle-aged, are just an embarrassment!
Having already used the Montagne Jeunesse, Chantelle ‘Exfoliating’ facemask and experienced good results, it seemed only natural that returning to this range would be my first ‘port of call’. What appeals about this range...

Fresh face at 42
Review of Garnier Synergie Stop Anti-Ageing Daily Moisturiser by
gill1960
Advantages: Makes lines less noticable
Disadvantages: none
.... Very fresh smelling.
I am very impatient. I expected results overnight as you do, but nothing happened. Well, I persevered and gradually over 4 to 6 weeks my skin did seem firmer and my Laughter lines as I call them, had lessened to a great degree.
My friends also complemented me on what a fresh look my skin had.
If you do the touch test you will notice that your skin isn’t quite as dry. I am not saying it will be as soft as a baby’s bottom, but it’s pretty near close. It is like as if your skin has had a drink of much needed water.
There are so many ingredients in this product that I will not mention them. I recommend you contact the skin care advice line:

I have tried various other anti aging creams and there is only one other cream that I would compare this cream to and that is Roc...

Luxurious anti ageing cream
Review of Estee Lauder Resilience Lift by
londonner
Advantages: Extremely good quality product
Disadvantages: Bloody Expensive!
...Yes, I'm reaching the age when anti-age products are part of my daily life...I've been using normal face creams since age 17, SPFs from age 23, so now, in my late twenties, I'm not taking any chances, and am investing more in my beauty routine. Odd, isn't it, that as you get richer, new needs get created?
For example, this cream cost £29.00 for 30ml, while normal, not anti-aging products are about £10.00 less.
I tend to save Resilience Lift for weekends and days off, as I find applying face cream ( as opposed to lotion ) takes that much longer and can make me that much later for work. I don't use it at night, as mine contains SPF15 ( protection against aging sun-rays) and I prefer not to clog my skin with unnecessary chemicals during nightime.
The cream, a soothing light pink, has the texture of light chantilly. It feels extremely...

Vitamin E the Cream For Me
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Cream by
KathrynE
Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op
....
Vitamin E is seen as an anti-aging agent that promotes the longevity of the skin. Vitamin E is amongst the natural antioxidants that are found in the epidermis. These antioxidants are reduced by UV rays on the skin therefore using a cream containing Vitamin E helps to replenish natural supplies and protect and treat skin damage caused by UV rays. Research has also shown that vitamin E induces smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles in sensitive areas of the face. Studies on animals have shown the possibility that Vitamin E improves the healing of wounds and reduces scar formation.
~~~~ Vitamin E Moisture Cream ~~~~
This moisturiser is one of the Body Shops top ten bestsellers. I'm not surprised. Used daily following skin cleansing and sometimes in the evening when my skin feels a bit dry I have found this cream to work wonders in re...
THE BEST FACE CREAM EVER
Review of Lancome Hydrative Velvety Cream Fluid by
Ruby
Advantages: Extremely light, high moisturising and easily absorbed
Disadvantages: Quite pricey
...I must say that this is the best cream I have ever used, and you won't you believe how soft your skin feels even just have one application. I have always known that Lancome product are a premium range and would not have tried it if I didn't buy it once of my mums' birthday. Often, it is a brand that is mistakenly believed to be only suited for older women due to the range of anti-ageing products. Although recently it has offered a wide range of products directed to youths that I have also tried, yet I admit none are as good as this product, 'Hydrative'.
As the name portrays, it is a hydrating cream. It is of a very soft and velvety texture that is extremely light but very moisturising. It is quickly absorbed, and you could feel your skin a lot softer straight after application. On the packaging, it notes that you would feel...
Can I justify £75 on a face cream?
Review of Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream by
dratcliffe
Advantages: Smells Divine, Animal Friendly, Velvety Texture
Disadvantages: The obvious one the Cost!
...Well in a word YES...
I never thought I would be one of those mugs who spent over £30 on a face cream, as in my opinion anything over this was a con, but boy was i wrong.
I have always had an oily/combination skin that breaks out really easily and when I got to 30 thought I had to start using an anti-ageing cream. Well everything I bought over the years, and I have tried them all from Clarins to Cinique, has been far to heavy for an oilier skin type - even the ones that claim to be just for that!
And then - the moment finally arrived - an Elemis kit from QVC provided a 15ml sample of this so called Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, I tried it with my usual doubts, but to my suprise this cream was totally different to anything else I had ever tried! It was not greasy or heavy sank into my skin straight away! Well that was it I was hooked...
CREAM FOR CRONES!
Review of L'Oreal Age Re-Perfect Pro-calcium by
Louizalass
Advantages: At last a cream especially for older skins - and it works!
Disadvantages: None
...At last, a skin product that is not only aimed specifically at women of a certain age but the makers, L'Oreal, were wise enough to use older women to endorse it.
However, why L'Oreal chose 70-year-old Jane Fonda as one of their endorsers, is beyond me. A lovely woman she is, but natural she 'aint. The surgical intervention against the advancing years on her physog is well documented and deep down most women know that the application of a humble moisturiser, even if it contained the carefully harvested sloughed off skin of Snow White is not going to eradicate ten years.
So, with the looming horror of a face like slack Alice there wasn't a moment to lose in my test of yet another anti-aging moisturiser. Hah! As if a cream can literally keep the years standing still.
That said, I found the results of this moisturiser to be very...
Soft silky hands in days
Review of Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Anti-Ageing Hand Cream by
laramax
Advantages: Soft smooth hands, easy to apply, no greasy feeling
Disadvantages: Slight aroma
...in the tube - no boxes or cardboard to make it look bigger than it really is!
According to the manufacturers it "Intensely moisturises and protects. Helps reduce and prevent brown spots. DERMATOLOGIST TESTED. Norwegian Formula Anti-Ageing Hand Cream quickly absorbs to leave hands softer, smoother and younger-looking. Norwegian Formula nourishes, repairs and protects. Active Soy helps reduce brown spots. SPF 15 protects against sun damage."
Now I don't really have the dreaded age related brown spots on my hands - YET. Frankly I am not keen to get them either so anything that would help to prevent them would seem like a bonus to me. I would however like the 'younger-looking' hands (I wonder if it would work on the face too!?) - so for me it promised quite a lot - the question was would it deliver?
The first thing that struck me...
