* A Glare Victory. . .
Advantages: Lasts a very very long time.
Disadvantages: Price, needs to be justified.
...I must admit until recently, I had not heard of this stuff, And would probably not have bought it, only it was given to me. Only a headcase would refuse to try anything that is free, so I gave it a go.
I started with a clean car of course, then set about putting on the polish. I found it hard work to be honest, much more elbow grease is required than "ordinary" polishes.
My car was crying out for polish, so "Perhaps it needs two coats" I thought, and I was right, the second coat went on a lot easier.
Of course I can't compare it with other polishes now because as Glare says "It will last up to five years". I doubt it will last that long, however, it is a pleasure wathing my dirty car in the raain, because toe much just rinses off. This has to be a plus, and something other polishes just do not do.
The polish is suitable...

Dermalogica Anti-Bac Skin Wash
Advantages: Cleared up my skin quickly, last ages!!!
Disadvantages: Expensive
...Dermalogica anti-bac skin wash is best used on blemish prone skin. It is a foaming, antibacterial facewash which deeply cleanses the skin of excess oil and impurities with drying it. It contains Triclosan which helps remove bacteria and Salicylic Acid disolves dead skin cells- that last part makes it sound very harsh, but it is really not! It also conatins balm mint, coneflower and camphor to help smooth and purify the skin. It does not have any artificial fragrances or colour.
Dermalogica say that you should work the gel into a lather and apply to your dampened face and throat. You should then rinse with warm water and repeat for 'professional results'. They then say for best results this should be followed by the multi active toner and moisturiser (please see my other reviews).
I use this product every day along...

Anti-perspirant that works!
Advantages: It works!
Disadvantages: Range of scents isn't great.
...I ALWAYS used to use spray on anti-perspirants, but was getting fed up white marks all over my clothes & the spray ending up all over the bathroom, so I decided to give roll-ons another go. I tried a couple of different brands before Mitchum. I found them all really sticky & horrible to use (even the Mitchum), but have found that the stickiness seems to resolve itself with continued use of roll-ons. Perhaps it?s just a case of getting used to it, either mentally or physically, but get used to it I did.
I have since stuck with Mitchum. It is deemed as being one of the more effective anti-perspirants on the market, & I for one have always had great results with it. The blurb on the bottle states that Mitchum provides 48hr protection?.yes, not just one day, but TWO. I?m afraid I can?t testify as to whether or not this claim is true...

The Anti-Cellulite Rollerball
Advantages: Easy to use, Pleasant feeling to the skin, firming effect, affordable and it works
Disadvantages: None
...It is coming to that time of year when we bare some more flesh - yes, it is a month or two away but summer is pretty close here..:)
I bought this product last spring/summer when I had a pretty good fitness regime and was in the gym and steam room or sauna a lot while conditioning my body.
I suppose I should admit in this review that I have had some cellulite on my thighs and although I do not pay much attention to it and it does not affect my general being; It felt good that I could do something about it when I saw this product.
Must've paid less than five pounds for it, it was affordable and that's one of the reasons I bought it, otherwise I don't tend to waste time with such products.
I used to use the 'Garnier Skin Naturals Body Tonic Anti-Cellulite Rollerball' after a good workout or a good pampering.
The product is in a small...

biotherm Anti-drying body milk
Advantages: Smooth soft skin finish
Disadvantages: High price, Questionnable ingredients inside the bottle
...i read an article in a magazine that a free bottle of Biotherm was available for free. I bought the magazine called Zest as a way to save Money to get the free sample Bottle of biotherm Anti-Drying lotion.
so having spent a few hours travelling to central london to selfridges I saw two or three similar women getting the same product.
ingredients include aspartic acid, glutamic acid, nicotiana, Soybean oil, parrafinium liquidium among other chemicals.
having read the ingredients of the contents does not convince me to use this stuff on my body.
what I did was test a little part on my finger to see the effects on my manly rough hands skin.
upon opening there was a fake citrus orange or lime smell Fragrance which I feel strongly is pleasant.
the milk took two minutes to partially absorb, leaving a smooth shiny...

Clinique Anti Blemish Solution - Cleansing Foam.
Advantages: Clears spots!
Disadvantages: Can make skin feel tight. Expensive.
...Having tried Clinique's anti-blemish gel with disapointing results I was a bit reluctant to try their 3 step system for blemished skin. But the shop assistant persuaded me to give it a go. I haven't looked back since!
The packaging is a solid affair in Clinique's usual simple style with a big C on the front. The product is dispensed through a pump on the top of the bottle.
I only need 2 or 3 squirts of the foam to cover my face, and I only use it once a day. I think you are supposed to use it twice a day but at this price I can't afford that and once a day does me fine. I can't really feel it working when it's on my face, some washes I've used tingle, this doesn't. But when I've used it my face feels clean and smooth.
Initially I was horrified - my spots got worse! But having spent about £10-15 on a bottle I perservered. I'm so...

Lynx Dry Click Sharp Focus Anti-Perspirant
Advantages: Good smell, effective
Disadvantages: Quite pricey
...Being an early-twenties, pro-active male, I therefore sweat. Not profusely, not disgraceful, but these things happen. Deodorant, for all of it's scents, does not prevent this, nor does it cover it up, but antiperspirant does.
Now, human sweat itself is, apparently, mostly odourless...until bacteria gets involved. This occurs in hot, humid conditions - e.g. under the armpits. I could at this point become all scientific, but this isn't a specific review on the ins-and-outs of antiperspirants vs. deodorants, but rather a look at one of the copious number of brands from Unilever's Lynx Dry range...
First of all, here's the tag line for the brand... "Lynx Click Dry Sharp Focus Anti-Perspirant keeps you sharp, dry and focused all day long. The unique Click fragrance has a fresh and clean aroma to help you create an impact wherever you go. It...

totally portable anti-shine in a compact
Advantages: neat and stylish compact to take anywhere
Disadvantages: only available in the UK through one source
...applicator .
The product is a translucent oil absorbing powder which is milled repeatedly to a very fine degree which makes it light and natural on the skin without blocking the pores . The milling is performed in Italy , renowned for their high standards of production , assuring the quality of the products which Smashbox base their reputation on .
There is no need to make a colour choice here .. the product blends perfectly and adapts to every skin tone , and the colourless powder settles into a totally invisible shine-absorbing " veil " on the skin
The effect is long lasting , with little need to re-apply , and make-up seems glide on more smoothly and last longer after application
Unlike most anti-shine products , should you need to re-apply this one , it doesn't build into a thick mask as do some I have tried in the past
The effect...

...Virus control on your PC has become absolutely essential these days, there are so many potential dangers that protecting your computer and your personal information has become quite a lucrative business for some companies.
There are so many applications available that choosing can be as big a nightmare as the virus themselves can be. Lynx Dry Africa Anti-Perspirant Roll-On
Advantages: A decent roll-on...
Disadvantages: ...not much else!
...Having recently been to Reading Festival, many of you would be intrigued to know they had a blanket ban on aerosols above 100ml this year, meaning most of us smelly twenty-somethings had to buy a roll-on or pocket-sized spray to prevent the pungent smell of festivals setting in. So, rather than get the ridiculously priced Lynx "Bullet", I went for one of their roll-ons - the Africa brand anti-perspirant to be exact...
The roll-on stands approximately four inches tall, with a silver screw cap which it rests on. The Africa range has green and red 'trim' to it on the front sticker, but other than that it's exclusively black and silver. After unscrewing the cap, it's nothing unusual - the clear roller ball has yet to be touched but by simply pushing it slightly it will start to roll and gather the anti-perspirant from inside the casing...
