The Perfect Solution

...I have very dry, frizzy hair which has always been a problem ever since I was a child, which was before the invention of this type of hair care product. These days I keep my hair short and wash it frequently which tends to dry it out more. I've tried many different brands of serum over the years and came across this one in Spain, where I live, about 5 years ago and decided to try it out. It turned out to be the best I've ever used; it keeps the curls separate and stops that frizzy look. It also produces a very nice shine making my hair look younger and healthier and it's fragrance is very pleasant and light, which doesn't interfere with my perfume. The slight residue left on the hands is easily washed off and is not a problem at all. I sincerely hope it's never discontinued because I'd be lost without it....

...A recent accident left me with a chemical burn on my right cheek. Naturally I was concerned that I would be left with a huge scar on my face, so I went to see my local pharmacist to ask her advice. She recommended this to me as apparently the higher the concentration of vitaimin E, the greater the scar reducing properties. I gave it a go as I have used Palmers cocoa butter before and I knew that worked. The packaging. It comes in a small glass bottle, it's really sturdy so you don't need to worry about dropping it! It has a pump dispenser which, as the serum is so thick, can be a bit hard. The ingredients. The main ingredients in this are Vitamin E (1000) which are renowned for their scar reducing abillities. I received my sample, as with many of the Boots products I review, as part of a free gift (I love Boots and buy all my make-up there, entitling me to many special offers). My skin can get quite dry and I like, for my face especially, to be well moisturised as it helps when applying make up and also feels and looks better naturally. I want a face moisturiser that is light and easy to apply / absorb, which doesn't give you spots or irritate your skin. I don't want something too highly fragranced, either, as I don't want to use too many chemicals. ...finding a stockist is not too difficult. So, my final analysis of the product would be that it works very well as a frizz control serum, smells great and is a reputable brand, but the price may be offputting to some. I would say get someone to buy you it as a present and then decide if you like it enough to continue forking out the cash....
