This product is produced specifically for Morrisons Supermarkets and contains amongst other ingredients less than 5% Polycarboxylate, Phosphate, Amophoteric Surfactant, Formaldehyde and Perfume. The product comes in a 500ml plastic bottle and must be stored upright in a dry cool place. It is very reasonably priced at 79p and if you go when it is on offer you can pick up 3 bottles for the price of 2, or buy one get one free, making it even more reasonable. The only problem with it is that due to daily use, it goes down very quickly! This is one of the best anti-limescale products I have used. I have a curved glass shower screen and I hate cleaning it!! ...This isn't going to be the best in the way of describing limescale as its in our toilet. We've tried numerous products to get of the limescale, but it just didn't shift, until we tried Tesco Anti Limescale tablets. They come in a packet of 8 in a bright yellow and green box and retail for around 80p or so which is very reasonable for a product like this as most other brands are over £1. On the box it instructs you with how many "tablets" to use on normal limescale build up, which is 1 tablet and advises that for best results this should be left in the toilet over night. For thick limescale use two tablets overnight. They come in little packages and can be corrosive to skin so you must wash your hands after using them. ...As most people living in South Britain, my water is very hard, limescale everywhere and although most of the time a good scrubbing or a water filter sorts out the problem, what do you do with your washing machine. Well, I use Calgon liquid. A small dose of Calgon in the soap compartment of your washing machine for EACH wash, and the problem is avoided. It is however available in powder and tablets, whatever your choice, the results stay the same. Whatisit ? ...I bought this product when searching out a major brand limescale remover. The bottle was nearly identical. The claims for ability to remove limescale were about the same. The only difference was the price, about 1 pound as opposed to 1.78p. There are certain products where it is not economical to buy the cheapest as only the big brands do the job. I didn't think this applied to toilet cleaner. I was wrong. I have to admit that I have allowed the limescale to build up quite a lot in my toilet, mainly because most limescale removers are far from environmentally friendly. There comes a time when I have to concede defeat though. Sainsbury's sell a lot of own brand products. By and large they are usually just as good as their more expensive well known brand names. ...I live in a semi-hard water area and seeing a dirty toilet is one thing that really bugs me! I must tell you all about a product that recently discovered: Harpic Power Tablets. These are a new Harpic product that contains a powerful ingredient which dissolves lime scale build-up, by the process of oxidisation and also helps to reduce bacteria which lurks in the toilet. ...is not all that thick, which surprises me of just how powerful this product is. It’s easily washed away, with just a flush of the chain all the blue disappears. The lime scale remover of the Harpic range is the ‘Original’ smell, which is very powerful and can kill even the smelliest of poos! The smell lasts long in the loo I applied mine at night and wash it way in the morning. It leaves my loo smelling fresh all day. The bottle is the same shape of the Duck range and for those that do not know what it looks like it’s a normal bottle with a small spout at the end to get the product in the smallest of areas. The bottle is the same shape as the liquid, which is dark blue. It has a bright red safety cap on which tries to prevent children from miss using the product. Advantages: Does exactly what it's meant to for a good price.

...After unsuccessfully trying a range of products to remove the stubborn limescale within my toilet bowl, I found Harpic 100% and rather dubiously decided to give it a go. I figured it would be most likely less effective than strong bleach, (though the bottle claims t cleans better, since Bleach can only whiten the limescale and not remove it) and no one likes an unsightly toilet. This cost me £1.18 for a 750ml container. I bought it from Tescos, it's widely available in most supermarkets for around the same price. Container is a blue bottle with a red child proof cap, for those people silly enough to leave it somewhere the kids can get to it.. Directions for use and safety precautions are all nice and easily readable, no silly small print. Well presented. I found the product very easy to use, simply hold upside down and squirt... ...i have just bougt this product as i moved into a council flat and as you can imagine the toilet was covered in limescale after reading the back of the bottle i was worried about getting it on my hands and clothes i followed the instructions and found it worked amazingly i was sceptical but was proved wrong you could see the limescale come away from under the rim of the toilet its a fantastic product and i recommend it to anyone and it says on the bottle that it kills the germs and removes the limescale unlike bleach which just bleaches the limescale and thurns it white instead of removing it and i am very happy with this product there is only one thing i dont like about it and that is the spout as it comes out far to quick and is easily spilt which i nearly found out...
