...This product is great! I bought this antiseptic in the hope of it recovering my finger which was badly burnt and it certainly did the job. I am a pianist and play the piano full time and is so absoloutely neccesary for me to have my fingers working properly. It is at a very reasonable price and is easy to apply. It absorbs into the skin well and doesnt wash off easily. You can feel the stuff working just minutes after application. I would reccomend this to anyone for use as just a general antiseptic. I have recovered fully now after just a few days of using this product. The akmond oil included in the formula soothes and moisturises the skin while the terpineol fights infection. ...I had never heard of Sudocrem, one of the most popular creams around and I was all new to it. I first came across it a couple of years ago when a friend of mine used it for nappy rash on her baby and she swore by it so ever since I have kept a tub of it in the cupboard for emergencies. Sudocrem can be used for anything, its an antiseptic healing cream, which on the description on the tub, its ideal for nappy rash, eczema, bed sores, acne, sunburn and minor burns and the good thing about Sudocrem is it does not have that antispetic smell about it like TCP and Savlon, its a newtral smell so you can use it wherever you are going and no one will be none the wiser. Athough it states that it good for those things, I have found it to be good for anything and ideally rather than going the doctors and paying a fortune on prescription creams...

Better than a sudoku at solving nappy rash

Advantages: cheap and effective
Disadvantages: your toddler can make a real mess of a carpet with this product

...the day before yesterday and have just splashed out a princely £2.45 on another 125g tub, which I fondly believe will see me through to potty training. It doesn't break the bank then, and a little goes a long way. If you used it at every nappy change obviously you'd use a bit more, but as a treatment rather than prevention it is highly effectively, especially if combined with the usual "nappy off time", frequent changing etc, if baby has a sore little botty. You can even use it on broken skin, which is very useful. It is mildly antiseptic as well as being a thick barrier cream so treats the probelm whilst preventing it from getting any worse. If I catch the rash at its first sign, I can put this cream on and expect that by the next change it will be less red and sore looking, and it continue to apply it, the rash is nearly always gone...

Savlon Antiseptic Wound Wash

...at all! Its been 7 months since my tummy was pierced and it was recommended that I clean it for the full three months it takes to heal. I did this using my Savlon wash and the piercing healed perfectly. Recently I somehow caught an infection in it though and a quick spray of Savlon anf it was gone within 24 hours! Savlon make a whole range of first aid products, including antiseptic creams, plasters and other first aid box essentials! The full range should be avilable in your local Boots store, or try online pharmacies such as pharmacy2u. At only £2.50 a go everybody needs Savlon Antiseptic Wound Wash! Thanks for reading!!
