...**Opinion ** In my opinion the Aparthotel Bahia is one of the best properties on the Island, not just for the accommodation itself but for its location and access to local amenities. The Aparthotel is a very well presented 4* option situated approximately 1km from San Antonio town with its vast array of nightlife. Making this an ideal location to be in as you are close enough to the nightlife if you want it, yet far enough not to be affected by it if you fancy a relaxing night. The main clientele at this hotel is made up of young people in the high season so can be rather rowdy at times. Aparthotel Tamaimo Tropical, Tenerife

Advantages: lovely weather, nice hotels, big pools, friendly staff
Disadvantages: a few coakroaches, but only a few... remember to take some bug spray..

...severe delays for all flights. We were due to fly out at 7PM, we flew out at 9.30PM in the end. It was a 3hr and 50 minute flight. After transfers we finally arrived at the aparthotel at 3:50AM, very tired. We were greeted on arrival by a nice polite english speaking man on reception. We were checked in very quickly, given our our AI bands and shown straight to our rooms. We asked the receptionist if there was a machine were we could purchase some water. He said as we were AI we could get water straight away and brought us two bottle's to our room. We had been allocated a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment with terrace opposite one of the large pools. The apartment consisted of a bedroom with 2 twin beds, bathroom with bath shower, kitchenette (2 cooking rings, microwave, cooking utensils and a fridge, kettle), satellite TV and a safety...

A great holiday but not a fabulous Aparthotel !

Advantages: Set between beach and countryside,clean ,spacious apartment,good value
Disadvantages: Off the beaten track a bit, poor beach

...a separtate childrens paddling pool.Kids also have a playroom. There is a babysitting service available. If you need a crib etc you need to state this when booking this hotel. Apparently,talking to other guests there is a bit of a damp problem in the ground floor rooms,so watch out. We did not eat at the hotel at all so cannot really comment. The details are:- 1) A main restaurant on the first floor,buffet style with good views.Serves a variety of foods ie greek, international, vegetarian, childrens dishes with a choice of soft drinks,beers and wines. 2) Pool Bar ,various snacks and drinks served. 3)Main bar usual beers ,wines and spirits. ...Myself and my better half stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were booked in on a self catering basis to the apartment area of the aparthotel. The apartments side of the aparthotel were only built a year or so before we stayed and as such I shall assume that all remains the same. The hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes beautiful stroll alongside the sea into the heart of Kos town. We arrived at approximately 4am after a 3.5 hour plane journey from Glasgow. Not being the best traveller at the time (I'm a thousand times worse now - simply wont get on a plane) all I wanted to do was get to bed (after unpacking of course, I'm still a female and like to organise my room). A MODERN AND EXCELLENT HOTEL NEXT TO A ROMAN CITY

Advantages: Excellently equipped and good service, close to the city.
Disadvantages: Lack of restaurant

...sprawled out, with many new buildings, such as hotels, shopping malls, tower blocks etc. I get the impression that it has only been in recent years that the local council have decided to sell the city to tourists, as there appears to be lots of works going on to improve the area. The only thing I would say however is that no matter how much work is carried out, Lugo will be constantly overshadowed by the more famous city of Santiago de Compostela, but Lugo is definitely worth a visit. APARTHOTEL CIUDAD DE LUGO The hotel itself, I believe, is a modern hotel, established in 2004, and is situated approximately 50 yards outside the Roman wall. Advantages: nice location, friendly staff, sparkling and spotless
Disadvantages: some of the other guests....

...I’d say that we made a good choice with the Aparthotel Columbus in Tenerife, had we chosen it ourselves, but we didn’t. We went on an allocation-on-arrival holiday which meant that we would end up in one of 3 complexes specified in the brochure, but that the final choice would be up to us. I’m not sure how nice the other 2 were, but we were certainly happy with this one. The Columbus is on a busy road which leads straight down to the beach, in the popular (and for “popular” read “packed”) resort of Playa de las Americas. Within 5 minutes walk of the hotel were numerous supermarkets, souvenir shops, bars and restaurants, not to mention 2 beaches. Coma Gran Aparthotel

Advantages: Superb family resort
Disadvantages: very busy

...I visited Mallorca in September 2002 with my family (husband and 10 month old daughter). This was our first 'family' holiday so much time was spent choosing the resort and Mallorca itself was an obvious choice due to the flight time (approx 1.5 hours). We choose the Aparthotel Coma Gran which is situated in Sa Coma on the East coast of Mallorca. The airport transfer is approximately 1.25 hours (almost as long as the flight!) The Aparthotel Coma Gran is officially a 3 star hotel, however Skytours give it a 4 keys rating. It is worth pointing out that this hotel changes to Thompson Super Family in 2003. It is currently part of a chain called Hipotels which own a number of other hotels on the island including Marfil Playa and Aptos Paraiso which are also in the Sa Coma Resort.
