...happy to see the little screws on the cable end. On my old cable I had these tiny little screws and had to get a screw driver if I wanted to unplug the cable but with this model I only need to turn the end to release it. So if you have a printer which needs a cable like the APC why not spend the extra few pounds and buy this. It's very good quality and will never let you down. I couldn't have been happier with it. I'm not too big a fan of USB cables for printers... Bring back APC!...

...Okay, so before everyone gets too excited at the prospect of reading a review about a network cable, I'll bring you all back down to Earth and try to convince you why this one is so great... If you've bought computer peripherals before, you will probably be familiar with Belkin, who are particularly well-known for their USB products. Belkin make all sorts of cables, including a variety of ethernet network cables. This is a Cat 5 standard network cable (coloured red, but you can get it in many other colours, including black, grey, yellow, green, blue etc). One of the major problems with network cables is their tendency to snag when bent through a small radius, and because of the way the individual wires are twisted around eachother inside the cable, this can lead to network errors. PS3 slim

Advantages: Blu-ray, free online, nice extras like vidzone & iplayer. Almost silent operation
Disadvantages: Rubbish controller, still expensive, online nowhere near as good as xbox live

...nothing on the system excited me that I couldn't already get for my 360! The exceptions to this rule being Killzone 2 & Resistance. In fairness, the PS3 hasn't been out as long as the 360, so I'm guessing the situation will improve as time progresses. Extras-Some nice ideas here from Sony, Vidzone isn't bad, altho the selection is a bit limited, movie trailers can be downloaded in 1080P(the 360 just gives a streamed SD trailer) but not full audio. Built in i-player is nifty altho not much use to me, as I'm on cable which gives me it in normal tv quality, but I guess it'll work for sky/freeview people out there. ...This is a must have accessory for any Playstation 3 owner. The best way to send sound and video to your TV to play in high definition is through a HDMI cable. It is the most reliable and easiest way of doing it. A test recently done on the gadget show proved that a cheap HDMI cable will work just as well as an extremely expensive one. They both do the same job and one isn't better than the other. This cable from GAME is one of the cheapest HDMI cables I have seen in the shops and so if a definate buy if you are thinking of getting one. As the Playstation 3 system does not come with a HDMI cable in the box you will probably want to buy one when you pruchase your PS3 and if you are buying it in GAME then you should definitely go for their make of the HDMI cable. fast LAN

...I needed to set up a quick and easy LAN network at home so that both my home computer and my laptop could use my broadband internet connection. You see this cable is a CAT 5E which means that it allows broadband to be shared where as normal CAT 5 cable does not surport broadband only regular internet. This cable also is a RJ45 (male) cable well actaully its male to male which means that it will fit into most LAN cards and routers. Some LAN cards only use female ends though i havent found one of these yet. The cable also has a 300 MHZ (some have got 500 MHZ)bandwith which allows quick file sharing among the computers, i havent even noticed any lag one the internet either. The cable does come in a range of sizes from little 3 ft one to the massive 24 ft one i use at mt home, the cable is rather thick and hard to hide espically...

...Bmw E36 M3 evo saloon I love my M3 evo, 90k on the clock so far FSH and still on the same healthy sounding vanos unit. Ive always had quick cars but this thing is awesome. There are a few updated items on the 3.2 E36 M3 including bigger brakes from the M5 6, speed box and bigger 3.2 twin vanos engine giving a massive 321bhp. Beware though this car cant be run on a shoe string budget. my spends so far 1) new suspension and bushes standard boge set up £1000 2)gear box selector seal £150 3) inspection 2 service £850 which has highlighted that the vavles will need re-set in about 20-30k at a cost of £400 4) Its going in in two weeks to get the vanos serviced ,new mesh oil filter, solinoides cleaned and longer BMW bolts fitted to the front plate at a cost of £150 And if that troublesome vanos unit goes im looking a £1500...

Review of BMW M3

The BMW M3 is drive-a-licious !

Advantages: Good motorsport feel
Disadvantages: Pricey, can get stiff neck, driving at speed

...At first glance there doesn't seem anything special about it, but I have to admit it does look better than the average BMW. That's when I noticed the lower front spoiler, the wider wheel arches that hide the wider axle. Believe, I couldn't go wrong with 20 18 inch rims,...can I ? Then there's that little hump on the bonnet to make sure there's enough room for the bigger engine. At closer inspection I noticed the M3 nostrils on the front fenders...and the emblem on the back on the car that says EMMMM 3 !...but the most distinct characteristic I like lies below the emblem...it's the beautiful 4-pipe organ ( twin exhaust ) which plays the most wonderful sounds known to BMW kind !...no not the church organ...but this one vroom-VROOM !! (get it ?!) Once inside I noticed the usual BMW leather upholstery, a little chrome polish here and there...

E36 M3 - The choice of the trackday hero

...Warning -this is a bit of a racers review. But it makes sense on this car.............................. E36 M3. So, why would anyone choose one of these cars? Answer:- a/ You're a bit of a chav-type poser b/ You're a serious trackday-type driver. You decide????????? It's cheap to buy, reasonable to run (Specialists abound) expensive to insure and a serious risk to the owner's NCB! When I first enquired about insuring an M3 to teach on-road advanced driving techniques you could hear the laughter even holding the telephone at arm's length! They are one of the highest "no other vehicle involved" claim vehicle, apparently. With around 300BHP (3 litre or 3.2 in real-world measurements), RWD and lifeless steering it could be a very easy car to introduce the car to the scenery. To PS3 or not to PS3?

Advantages: An amazing machine, expandable, some great features
Disadvantages: Expensive (but for a reason), almost internet reliant, no browser security

...I have a rather annoying habit. I tend to collect games consoles. The problem with this is threefold. It's expensive, Buggy (she who must be obeyed, but rarely is) doesn't like the fact that the bedroom where they all live and we sleep has more lights flashing than the average xmas tree and the one that's most annoying is I rarely play any games. I can't justify them, and I'm not even going to attempt to, although I managed to state a convincing argument about having a blu-ray player at the time. I did have a PS3 from the day they first came out (I get some great freebies with my job), but due to a slight moment of clumsiness I killed the original so decided to buy another one so this review is for the now standard 40Gb version. playstation 3 slim: the facts!

Advantages: very powerful, multifunctional console
Disadvantages: No real price cut

...have reduced Sony's manufacturing costs significantly. So what do you get: You get the console, a DualShock 3 controller, power cable, AV cable and USB cable - but no HDMI cable is included. So what you get is the same as the older version but with a newer style controller. In my opinion Sony has released this console just in time for x-mas to try and boost their profit margin, it is still the great ps3 but with no real noticeable benefits to us the customer and no real break in the price which people are crying out for! After all that said DO buy this product because the ps3 in my opinion is the best game console out at the moment with free online game play and a blu-ray player this console far outranks the x-box 360. This is still a very good buy and is now must more pleasing to look at!...
