Apple IPhone
Advantages: read Opp
Disadvantages: Read Opp
...Ok well im going to be giving a review on the Apple IPhone, ive had it for about two months now, and feel its about appropriate time to give my views on the product, as ive had enough time to play around and get use to it. The IPhone was given to me as a present, a few months back, I was at first not sure whether I wanted the IPhone, it seemed too expensive and full of applications and tools I really didn't want. I already had an Ipod and a Phone. so my thinking was why would I in principle want to get another one. However, being the kind person I am I accepted the gift and went to the shops with my dad were we purchased the phone.
Now before you buy your phone you must decide whether you want to purchase the 8GB phone of the 16GB phone. What's the difference, well the smaller one only costs £269, whilst opting for the larger one will...

The Apple Of My i
Advantages: Full Internet, Massive storage, Great design, Superb battery life.
Disadvantages: The Megapixel of the camera is put to shame by other phones available.
...I had been waiting for this day for some time. My 18 month contract with T-Mobile is coming up for renewal next week, however having had problems gaining reception in my area I'd opted to look elsewhere for a new contract. A few weeks back my problems were solved when I was shopping around to try and find the best mobile contract, and discovered that O2 would be stocking the Apple iPhone as of November the 9th. Not only was I looking for a new mobile contract, but also a replacement MP3 player so the Apple iPhone seemed ideal. I made plans to purchase the iPhone and on the evening of release made my way down to the nearest O2 store upon finishing work, bagging myself my very own iPhone at a price of £269. Although the price did seem a little steep, especially considering that I would be paying out a further £35 a month for the contract...

the apple of my "I"
Advantages: touch screen, lightweight, good battery life
Disadvantages: possibility of getting the screen or the shiny back scratched
...I purchased this product in November 2008, as a Christmas present for my fiancé. She had hinted at getting a new ipod, as her previous one was the 2 GB ipod nano from a few years back. I walked into the apple shop that had recently opened up in Belfast, surrounded by the whole apple range I looked at a couple different models from the new 8 GB nano to the ipod classic. But my eyes finally came to a halt upon the shiny surface of the 8 GB ipod touch. I knew instantly that this was the present that I was to buy her. So I went to the counter, the cashier asked me what I wanted and I placed my order, at which point he turned his back to me and started looking through some drawers, a few seconds later he turned around and handed me a very small rectangular box with curved edges. Hmmm, I thought to myself, it?s rather small? so I handed...

Apple's best ipod yet!
Advantages: Massive range of cool apps and features avaliable
Disadvantages: Needs careful looking after to avoid damage
...I got my 8GB ipod touch for christmas and its been great every since day one! It came with a cool leather case to protect the beautiful shiny backplate that it has (so easily scratched its incredible!)
It feels really nice in your hands and is just so easy and simple to use. It works using a touch screen system and only two main buttons. One for turning it on and off and one is the home button which is used to close appications and return to the homepage.
One of the best features of the 2nd gen touch is the WIFI connection. I connected it to my homehub router in seconds and then was able to use apples pre-installed web browser safari, which i was very impressed by. Using the WIFI connection also allows you to check your e-mails from a variety of sources ( but sadly no hotmail link ) and access the itunes store and appstore like...

Selling my soul for Apple
Advantages: huge variety of features, great sound quality...
Disadvantages: Price, my specifically unreliable model, not vampire-friendly :P
...memory for my songs. The iphone has the standard features of an itouch. I particularly enjoy the fact I can make playlists on the iphone and that I can listen to music without headphones. The sound quality is excellent. But do be careful not to answer calls when you have it hooked up to a sound system. I was with a group of friends and my iphone was connected to the speakers and my mum rang. I completely forgot that it was my music that was playing and suddenly everyone could hear everything my mum was saying - slight embarrassment. Woops...
~Ringtones~
This was something that annoyed me to the end of the earth. That you can buy a CD or download an itunes track and yet Apple make it so difficult for you to turn that track into a ringtone. I have, however, found the solution to this problem - audiko.net provide free ringtones...

Another Apple Classic
Advantages: Features and versatility
Disadvantages: Headphone quality
...This is a smashing little device for listening to music files or watching your video clips on the move. As always Apple's design is sleek, stylish and highly ergonomic. As far as battery life is concerned you should get about 30 hours if you're listening to music or 5 hours for video clips.
The iPod 80 GB comes with plenty of features. There are different categories into which you can place your music files. Cover-flow allows you to scroll through albums - you just click on one to play it. You can also access music according to the artist, composer, album, genre, songs, audio books you've purchased from iTunes or via your own play lists. There's also a simple search function to search for an individual track.
I really liked the video capacity of the player. There are categories for movies, TV shows, music and your own play lists...

The Apple of my eye
Advantages: Sleek, stylish and holds loads of music
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...iPods have come a long way from their humble roots of being a personal music player. With the ability to play music, play videos and be used as a photo viewer I think that Apple have gone too far.
Apple have developed a niche since the iPod is more than an MP3 player but not quite a fully blown multi media player. The iPod has become a bit of a middle-man.
My 20gb iPod was getting a bit tatty and whilst it had served me well it had taken quite a lot of abuse and was getting tired. It was time for an upgrade but I was confused what to buy.
There are so many MP3 players on the market it has become a bit of a mind field. Being a previous iPod owner all my accessories were geared towards the iPod so changing to an alternative MP3 player would not only mean I would have to spend cash on the music player itself but also having to buy...

Be part of the Apple revolution
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: nothing
...the iPhone is a touch screen mobile so that once you have slid your wee pinky over the on bar you can select several of the key features:
Telephone
iPod
Internet
Picture Browser
Battery life and call reception are good and the built in MP3 is just top notch. I was happy to pay £269 for my 8GB iPhone but would pay double if I had to. Texting is a bit of a problem because the touch screen keyboard is a bit on the small side but overall this is the future and I'm glad I part of the Apple revolution.
Recommended to all. It knocks the spots of Nokia, Samsung, Sony and Sagem....

This Apple is a peach
Advantages: Genius design - too much is wonderful to mention here
Disadvantages: the recessedheadphone jack and the on screen keybaord; no 3G
...Over here in the UK we had a long enough wait for the iPhone. Then the rumour mill started churning about possibility of a 16GB iPhone. Wow! Well first we didn't believe it. Then we waited. And waited. And craned our English necks to see what we could see over the pond, and finally it arrived.
The wait is over and the 16GB iPhone is on UK shores. It costs GBP499 at the moment. That's not exactly cheap. Since it was announced last year, the iPhone (8GB version) was hailed as the greatest technical product since the crystal sets and everyone just HAD to have one as soon as it came out. So we all bought one, and Apple then brought one out which is twice the size. A tad annoying if you'd just bought the 8GB version perhaps, but good news if you didn't. Yes, the 16GB costs more, but oh oh oh, what a thing of beauty this is....
THE LOOK...

Apples iphone - the future (updated)
Advantages: Whats not an advantage?
Disadvantages: Price, camera quality
...a pleasure to touch.
The ipod feature is exactly like a normal ipod too, the phone has 8GB storage capacity, and you can sync not only songs, but videos, podcasts, and movies. You can now also purchase, ringtones off the itunes store, and sync them to the iphone aswell.
There is a also a feature called itunes to purchase songs and down them directly to your phones memory.
Iphone has a map feature, basically you type in any postcode in the search bar, and you can view it as a map of the road, or if you click "satellite" at the bottom, you can give it in person (like google earth). Very impressed apple ;)
You can also have easy access to stocks, world clock and the usual stuff. But everything - even the borin features, are in style ;)
Overall i have been quite impressed about the iphone, another downfall was, my dad still paying his...
