Appletising!
Review of Apple by

Advantages: Tasty, versatile and good for you. An easy, healthy snack
Disadvantages: You can't have apple crumble without thick, creamy and calorific custard
...and brought them to Kent, so developing its orchards and gardens.
~~~~~The Apple Market~~~~~
The UK apple market is now worth over £320M ¬ but only 30-35% of the eating apples sold in the UK are home-grown. Supermarkets sell 70% of all apples in the UK. Many supermarkets sell about eight varieties, ¬ double the range they carried five years ago.
The UK is the only country that grows apples especially for cooking. More than 140,000 tonnes (£78M) of Bramley apples are sold annually and 95% of these are sold fresh. Only 78% of shoppers recognise the Bramley as being British, whilst nearly 60% think the Granny Smith (which is not grown in the UK) is. Fruit-breeders are still working to improve flavour, resistance to storage disorders and 'long storage' characteristics in apples.
To conform to EC grading criteria, apple growers have to produce...
Is it Worth It?
Review of Apple iPod 30GB Fifth Generation by
silvercut
Advantages: Great Music and Video Quality, Click Wheel
Disadvantages: Scratches Easily
...The Ipod offers everything that a person wants with a gadget. Music, Video, Games and much more.
The famous brand Apple Ipod release the black version of the 30GB ipod and is amazing.
As always Apple offer great sound quality, just like all their MP3's, also the video is truly breathe taking (quality and sound).
Also Ipod offers the unique Click Wheel that attracts many consumers and so it should. The 30GB ipod have made the wheel as smooth and as easy to use as ever.
However it does scratch quite easily so it is advisable to buy a protective screen to cover the Ipod Sceen.
Overall, this is an Ipod for everyone. It's looks are sleek and sexy and this product is a must buy.
5/5...
Are they as nice as my mums pies ?
Review of Tesco Bramley Apple Pies by
mumsymary
Advantages: tasty, convenient
Disadvantages: not as nice as my mums
...Apple pies are a traditional English pudding. My mum used to make the most delicious ones. But on this occasion I wanted some individual apple pies to take on a picnic so while in Tesco I picked up a pack of 6 individual apples pies.Tesco Bramley apple pies. Bramley apples make some of the best pies . But do Tesco's ?
I just checked Tesco website they retail for 74p per pack but are on special offer buy 2 packs of 6 pies for £1.30. I noticed Mr Kipling brand pies were £1.09 for a [pack of 6 , on offer buy 2 packs £2.00.
You can freeze these pies so buy one pop one in the freezer.. These pies are a good size for a lunch pack so you could buy a pack and put one in lunch pack put the rest in freezer for another day. Guess if you took one out of the freezer in the morning it would be defrosted by lunch.
If you open the pack and want...
Apple of my Eye.
Review of Copella Apple Juice, Pure Pressed by
katygriff
Advantages: Taste, Appearance.
Disadvantages: None.
...of the Suffolk countryside. Using hand selected whole apples picked at perfect ripeness, then pressed on our farm in Suffolk, Copella is the irresistible taste experience for every occasion.'
Now doesn't that sound nice?
Ingredients and Nutritional information:
The ingredients are pretty simple for this product as there are only two which are apple juice and vitamin C.
-----
Packaging and Appearance:
The first thing that Strikes me about a Copella bottle is how posh it looks. It is kind of square and the label actually shows a picture of some scrumptious looking apples and is it looks antique to me but that may just be to me. The actual bottle itself is quite a hard plastic and the word Copella along with an apple leaf is raised...
I went on a bit of a heath kick after putting on half a stone over christmas. Joined a gym and started eating salads at lunch. I fancied a drink (non alcholic as thats one thing i havent cut back on!) so i went to the vending machines at work and had a look at what they had. I didnt want a fizzy drink as i was quite thirsty and wanted something i could knock back. I spotted the Copella apple and it looked really...
Hipp organic juice
Review of Hipp Organic Apple and Grape Juice by
Cl4ir3
Advantages: Healthy
Disadvantages: ??
...for vegetarians
- no added sugar
- rich in vitamin c
Apple and grape juice is made from apple juice concentrate and grape juice. The content of fruit juice is 100%, this is partially from fruit juice concentrate.
The juice is a green/yellow colour, like normal pure apple juice (a bit like someone has pee in a bootle!!). It smells and tastes just like pure apple juice, it has a bit of a sweet taste to it but is quite nice tasting - definately the best tasting baby juice I have tried. The twins quite like the tast of this but I think they prefer the mixed fruit flavour.
Lost Cab
Review of Crazy Taxi 2 (DC) by
happyhopwood
Advantages: Great graphics and fun gameplay
Disadvantages: Not enough characters
...class entertainment throughout, with great gameplay and lastability.
SMALL APPLE
Small apple is the first arcade mode that you win. This is a small-scale city, which is slightly easier than usual. The Small Apple is there mainly to prepare you for the next episode. However, this is still a very exciting, fast level. The graphics are beautifully rounded and extremely realistic. Even though the Small Apple is fairly short, it is still very addictive.
AROUND APPLE
Around apple is the largest, hardest and undoubtedly the best part of Crazy Taxi 2. The selection of customers is large and places to go broad. You can literally drive around the city for hundreds of hours and not get bored.
There are four characters to choose from, but you can win the original Crazy Taxi 1 drivers if you complete Crazy Pyramid.
To many, paying £30 to drive...
Step 5: Stand each piece of apple on one end and cut away the peel working from the top, being careful not to include any flesh. Cut the apple flesh into 1 to 2cm pieces and add to the maple syrup mixture. Toss well to coat the apple evenly then spoon into a 1.1 litre shallow ovenproof dish.
Step 6: Press the apple down firmly and spoon the crumble topping over to cover the fruit. Stand the dish on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC (400ºF) mark 6 for 30 to 40mins.
Now For Desert. Get Lost in Lots of Fruit
Review of Marks and Spencer Bramley Apple and Blackberry Pie by
ray52
Advantages: Very tasty. Great pieces of apple & blackberry
Disadvantages: None for me
...read.
**Cooking the Pie**
There are 2 ways in which I cook Marks and Spencer Favourites Shortcrust - Bramley Apple and Blackberry Pie.
Firstly, from chilled, I cook it in my electric fan-assisted oven at 160C for about 30 minutes. All I have to do is remove the outer sleeve and put the foil tray onto a baking tray in the middle of the pre-heated oven.
Secondly, from frozen, as above, but it will take approximately 45 minutes to cook.
If you don't have a fan-assisted oven the temperature to cook the pie is 180C. If you have a gas oven then the temperature you will need is 350F or Gas Mark 4.
**The Pie itself and Taste**
I find the taste and texture of the fruit in Marks and Spencer Favourites Shortcrust - Bramley Apple and Blackberry Pie to be fantastic. The quality of Marks and Spencer food, I think, is always super. To date, I have...
