One of my favourite things about the new iPod Nano is the new design. It is curved on both edges and I personally think that it looks really good.
The iPod Nano is very durable and can be dropped without it breaking or getting damaged. The iPod does scratch a little bit but if you keep it in a fairly good condition it...

iPod Nano 8Gb - 4th Gen
Advantages: Looks, Quality, features
Disadvantages: None
...Got my first iPod for my Christmas, to replace my old MP3 player and I couldn't have been happier.
After getting used to the initial fidgety, circling my finger round the buttons to navigate the menus I was having great fun playing music, games and videos.
The 4G nano is different from the 2G in a few ways. Firstly the screen is quite a bit bigger. This makes it better to play games on, the maze game is particularly good.
It is also motion sensitive so playing games is alot more fun. Guiding a small ball around a maze collecting things, while tilting the iPod in all different directions is fun. The motion sensitivity also means when looking through your music albums, when you tilt the Ipod on to its side, the screen flips around and allows you to have a better look at your album covers.
Adding to the motion sensitivity is...

Apple iPod Nano 4th Generation - Silver
Advantages: Thin, light, sleek design.
Disadvantages: Too narrow to use headphones and charger simultaneously.
...I purchased a Silver Apple iPod Nano last year to replace a large cumbersome hi-fi. This the first iPod product I have ever owned.
The (silver) iPod Nano 4th Gen has a very light and thin design in a brushed steel effect. It is a very sleek design that is easy to handle. It has a satisfactory screen size with excellent graphics.
Although I have not used the included headphones, preferring my own existing ones, I have found the sound quality to be second to none, with a crisp clear acoustic on both headphones and speaker. Easily customisable sound options include the usual choices from Classical options through to heavy base etc.
Some of the features on the iPod Nano include alarm clock, date and time, games, Genius playlist, repeat functions etc all of which I have found very satisfactory, easy to set up and use.
I...

8GB iPod Nano (4th Gen) : Good Things Come In Small Packages
Advantages: Small, Affordable, Incredible Quality
Disadvantages: Some of the color choices are only suitable for the vision impaired
...While Apple didn’t actually invent the MP3 market, they certainly have played a key role in shaping it as it has evolved. One example of this is the ever-changing Nano, now in 9 nano-chromoatic color schemes coating a body that more closely resembles the 2nd generation Nano than the 3rd.
8GB may seem like a fairly paltry storage capacity, especially with the classic iPod now shipping with 120GB of storage, but I still haven’t filled mine up. I’m an avid fan of LOST, 24, and numerous musicians and typically use my iPod Nano to watch or listen to whatever I download off of iTunes.
I can report that the video quality is excellent, especially for such a small device. I do wish that iTunes would convert my episodes of LOST and 24 to formats that didn’t have the occasionally hiccups on my 4th generation iPod Nano but that’s my only...

iPod Nano 8GB 4th Generation - a benchmark in small Mp3 players
Advantages: Large, bright screen, easy to use functions and great design - on top of the excellent sound!
Disadvantages: Non!
...delicate - i've went through 3 in the last 18 months, but I still go back for the crisp clear quality!
Features
With the accelerometer from more expensive iPods now incorporated into the Nano, it now responds to movements as well as key strokes (flip the Nano horizontally and you can scroll through album's). Videos can now be played on the Nano which is fairly easy to do and the new games use the movement of the iPod as controls. The Genius playlist can be used on the Nano, which compiles a list of music based on an initial song selection to provide you with a playlist that suits your mood.
Value
For the same price I paid for my 2nd generation 4GB Nano I got my 8GB 4th generation! As always, the price for an iPod is slightly higher than that of its rivals, but in my opinion its worth the extra money!...

apple ipod nano's great design
Advantages: slim design, wide range of colors, easy to use
Disadvantages: cheap earphones loses sound quality
...i think that the new ipod nano has a great modern design that is so thin it slides into your pocket and you don't feel it at all. The range of bright colors make the ipod more personal. in my opinion the sound quality is ok but the earphones are cheap which reduces the quality. the battery lasts for ages and doesn't take long to charge at all. When you plug the ipod into your PC or MAC the software itunes that comes with it automatically updates it with music you have on the computer. it also updates the ipod as well. you can put podcasts on with a few clicks of the mouse which saves you time. You can also turn the ipod on it's side so you can view album covers or video's in a bigger viewing mode....

Apple iPod Nano!!!
Advantages: Very Good Picture and Sound Quality
Disadvantages: Can Be A Little Difficult To Use On iTunes
...generation had the choice of either a 1 Gigabyte model , a 2 GB model , or a 4GB model. Each models battery lasted between 12 - 24 filling your enjoyment for hours on end!!!
Later on in September 2006 , another generation of the iPod Nano was introduced. The colour choice for this generation was Silver (with a 2GB memory) , Blue , Red , Green , Pink and Silver ( with a 4GB memory) and finally Red and Black with an 8GB memory , with each model lasting in twenty four hours of battery life ... Wicked!!
The most recent generation is the third , which features iPod colours such as Silver with a 4GB memory capacity , Pink , Black , Silver , Red , Green , and Blue , each with a memory capacity of a large "8GB" memory. Each iPod lasts again 24 hours in battery life. These iPod's are compact with windows vista , XP , and windows 2000. Also the first...

MY GORGEOUS PINK IPOD NANO!!!!
Advantages: see summary in review.
Disadvantages: see summary in review.
...mp3 player. You can store up to 4GB of music on it (approx 1000 songs) and the interface enables you to play these back through the headphones in a variety if ways, for example you can create playlists, play songs by genre, artist, album, song etc. In addition to storing music, the ipod nano can also store and display your photos.
The actual ipod nano is very thin and rectangular in shape. It has a screen at the top and a touch sensitive keypad in the centre. It is made from durable anodized aluminium, which is intended to protect it from being bashed around in your pocket or bag. Whilst this is reassuring, I do have concerns regarding the screen becoming scratched as this is very exposed and has no real protections.
The Apple website states the dimensions as follows:
Size and weight:
Height: 3.5 inches
Width: 1.6 inches...

Ipod nano 4th generation good and bad points
Advantages: It plays films well with good quality of sound and picture, it has a big enough screen aswell.
Disadvantages: it occasionally it freezes, you can only get your films from itunes
...The nano chromatic is quite expensive but i think it is worth the £80 or so. It has very good sound quality, the earphones it comes with are clear and long lasting. I found it quite easy to use, and all answers are found in the users manual. It looks really good with the big screen and slim design, all the colours are quite metalic but bright.
8gb is enough to hold about 150 songs and 7 films, but it all depends on the quality and size of videos and songs. There are some great games on there kolondike, vortex and a maze game. To reach full battery it takes about 3 hours to charge in the computer. It lasts for about 5 hours video pldayback and a lot more for songs.
Overall i think it is definately worth buying....
