...When you fork out lots of money to get a tiny clear plastic box with a tiny square gadget you do freak out a bit? "all that money only for this??". We are in an era where things get smaller and smaller, as an example you might have also seen advertised on TV the new Apple laptop? in a way small things can be a bonus, they save space, are easy to carry? but when is small just too small?? It might be just me but although I do like this ipod I feel it is just too tiny to lose, too fragile to handle? first thing I did when I bought it was to get a silicon case to protect it! As mentioned the packaging is very small, just bigger than a packet of cigarettes of 20. you get your Ipod, your earphones in white and a white USB port cable to connect it to your laptop, charge it and download your songs.. You also get a tiny piece of paper...

Apple ipod nano

Advantages: Looks awsome

...This little mp3 player has made me so happy having owning it for the past few weeks. By far the most practical and usable mp3 player i have ever used/owned. There is only one downside in my opinion(which can be avoided easily) this is the fact that ipods in general tend to be very easy to scratch, and having owned a few ipods i now they dont look very nice with scratches all over them. However after buying myself a cover for it the problems flew away. This ipod has allowed me to listen to far more music than i could wish for it has great quality in all areas and a nice sleek style and very easy to use. Sound quality is also outsstanding! Over a top mp3 and i would definately buy another. Reccommended buy!...

Advantages: Stylish, good quality for sound and pictures
Disadvantages: The click wheel is a bit fiddly and takes some getting used to.

...I bought this product for my husband's birthday. The packaging is very sleek, not easy to remove product though without feeling that you're going to snap something. The small control wheel is a bit fiddly and on first use he accidentally set the language to Chinese. The manuals on the website are good, it only took 2 hours to find out how to get back to English, which incidentally is american english. The capacity of these little things are amazing, sound and pictures are excellent and the ipod itself looks good. Good value for money, I thought its range of features is incredible, and the whole look of it is very good. Not too impressed with the earphones but other than that, a good buy for a present....

...When I held the iPod nano, if felt solid and well built in my hand. It is very small, and dissapears easily in your pocket. The click wheel is rather inconsistent, jumping down categories at times. The new UI (user interface) is rather slow, sometimes taking a few seconds to load a menu. Coverflow is pointless... BUT, for its functionality, great appearance, and price, it is a great player for the beginner buyer. Very easy to use and the itunes website and software is very easy to use also. The earphones are a bit poor quality but these are easily upgraded with many types now availabe. Battery life can be short when using to view films and also slow to convert films to correct format but this function is a bit pointless as the screen is too small for viewing full films...

...i think that the new ipod nano has a great modern design that is so thin it slides into your pocket and you don't feel it at all. The range of bright colors make the ipod more personal. in my opinion the sound quality is ok but the earphones are cheap which reduces the quality. the battery lasts for ages and doesn't take long to charge at all. When you plug the ipod into your PC or MAC the software itunes that comes with it automatically updates it with music you have on the computer. it also updates the ipod as well. you can put podcasts on with a few clicks of the mouse which saves you time. You can also turn the ipod on it's side so you can view album covers or video's in a bigger viewing mode....

Apple ipod nano V3, what an amazing product

Advantages: Fabulous sound, value for money, great look, great colour, easy to use
Disadvantages: I could not find any disadvantages with this product.

...where you can store some games, these games are not the best out there, but they are fine to waste five minutes when your a little bored. And the value for money, you cannot beat it in my opinion. When it comes to the version 3 range of the Apple iPod Nano's, I personally believe it cannot be beaten. I have had this product for about two weeks now, and I have been amazed by it since I bought it. I personally payed £129 for the iPod nano V3 from Argos stores, although it can be ordered online through "Argos Direct" at argos.com I would highly recomend this product and so far I have found no faults with it, and cannot see myself finding any. ...You just have to love the iPod nano. Yes, so maybe there are a few tiny issues with it, but when you look at it and consider the cute, chic design of the thing- how can you not fall in love with it? I hate to be anywhere without my music, and the nano is the perfect way to carry my music with me. Small enough to fit in my pocket, with more than enough memory to store all my songs on it, and excellent sound quality, the iPod nano 3rd gen is a must-have. I also love the fact that it stores videos and photos, almost like carrying a mini-version of my computer around with me.
