One of my favourite things about the new iPod Nano is the new design. It is curved on both edges and I personally think that it looks really good.
The iPod Nano is very durable and can be dropped without it breaking or getting damaged. The iPod does scratch a little bit but if you keep it in a fairly good condition it...

Ipod Nano
Advantages: Small, lots of memory, great battery life
Disadvantages: Long winded online instruction book
...I've never owned an MP3 player before, in fact, I've been dreading buying one for a good few years because I thought they'd be so complicated to use. A few weeks ago, I finally decided I'd get with the times and buy one. Not having a clue about MP3 players, I took the store assistants advice and bought this.
It's got 16GB of memory and can hold up to 4000 songs, at the moment I've got about 35 albums on it and I haven't even used one thenth of it's memory. It's so easy to download and transfer from my own CD collection it's unbelieveable. You simply put your CD into your computer, it'll ask if you want to "import this CD to itunes" - click "yes" and it does it. Connect you Ipod to your computer and it'll automatically "synchronize" with the computer and transfer your albums. It really is that simple. You have to register your...

the new nanos
Advantages: cheaper, battery life and more memory
Disadvantages: loads of useless features
...There are a lot of new things this ipod has to offer, and a lot that I also think are pretty pointless too. However it certainly is the cheapest ipod nano on sale at the moment coming in at only £110 for an 8gb one whereas the previous nanos were around £140 for the same amount of memory.
At first glance it looks like apple have gone back to the 1st generation design which im quite happy with as I did prefer this shape to the more square generation 2 with the tiny click wheel.
However something which I still haven't worked out if I like or not yet is its rounded body, I suppose it does make it look a little bit sleeker but I did like the previous square edged ones.
A new feature this ipod has if the ability to turn on cover flow when you turn your ipod to the side. In all honesty this I pretty pointless, its hard to navigate...

Addiction in your hand, its the Apple Ipod Touch 16gb
Advantages: wifi, free apps, idiot proof, touch screen, endless apps, small and thin, fun!!!
Disadvantages: battery,price, addictive, no camera
...things. These apps range from Free in price to a few pounds depending on the app. You download it with one touch of the button and thats it. you dont need to be a computer whizz to use this ipod. Thats the beauty of it. Its very simple yet very high tech.
The 16 gb memory allows for an impressive music collection to be stored on here. However remember that any apps and movies and photos also use up memory space though less.
I always seem to be using this product for whatever, there is so much you can do with this devise. Its basically the iphone without the phone or camera.
I recommend one for anyone. Its easy to use and has something for everyone....

iPod nano - Small yet powerful
Advantages: Cool design, thin, highly portable
Disadvantages: Easy to get scratch without protection
...I got this ipod in feb as a gift from my friend. It's a 16GB ipod nano in orange colour, i purchased a transparent iskin and they just look great together.
Design
Different from the 3rd gen, this 4th gen ipod nano has the traditional rectangle shape, like the 2nd and 1st gen, but it is much more portable and convinient to carry around. With the dimension of 38.75mm x 90.75mm x 6.08mm, you can easily put this ipod inside your jeans pockets. Instead of making the edges at two sides right-angle, Apple has decided to curve them, making the ipod look even thinner and cooler.
The buttons are simillar to the previous generrations with a navigating circle, four buttons ( forward, backward, play/pause, menu) and a button at the center, acts something like the Enter button. There is also a switch at the top left hand corner to lock...

Fourth time lucky for Nano
Advantages: Does everything it needs to do whilst looking stylish at the same time
Disadvantages: Battery seems to drain quite fast
...The iPod by Apple has always been the most well known brand of mp3 players, and since the first one was released in 2001, over 173,000,000 iPods have been sold worldwide. The iPod Nano is one of the many types of iPod to be released, the idea of the Nano is that it is less thick than a normal iPod but can still hold a reasonable amount of music on it. There have been four different versions released of the Nano so far, the latest one being released at the end of 2008 (known as the fourth generation Nano). This version was the first Nano to be released which is capable of storing 16GB worth of music (approx 4,000 songs) and / or videos (approx 16hrs). Like other iPods, it can also store photos.
The Product Design
Previously, I've had 2 other Nanos, the first generation Nano which was 4GB and the second generation Nano which...

Ipod Touch (16GB)
Advantages: touch screen, quality sound/video play
Disadvantages: have to pay for extra icons
...The Ipod touch is without a doubt the best Mp3/Mp4 player that is on the market currently in my opinion as it has so many good qualities.
These qualities include the beautiful touch screen which enables quick navigation, up to 2500 songs / 20 films and thousands of pictures, internet access, hundreds of games to choose from (some already installed on the ipod) and lots of icons to choose from (stock market checks, calendar etc) which just basically makes the whole experience of having an ipod touch that little bit better.
The ipod touch (16GB) version is in my opinion the best value for money at roughly £220 as it holds a lot of data yet still doesn't break the bank.
If you are thinking of buying a loved one a present I would recommend the ipod touch as it can be personalised and customised to that persons needs, apple store...

apple ipod nano
Advantages: excellent features
Disadvantages: price
...When you fork out lots of money to get a tiny clear plastic box with a tiny square gadget you do freak out a bit? "all that money only for this??". We are in an era where things get smaller and smaller, as an example you might have also seen advertised on TV the new Apple laptop? in a way small things can be a bonus, they save space, are easy to carry? but when is small just too small?? It might be just me but although I do like this ipod I feel it is just too tiny to lose, too fragile to handle? first thing I did when I bought it was to get a silicon case to protect it!
As mentioned the packaging is very small, just bigger than a packet of cigarettes of 20. you get your Ipod, your earphones in white and a white USB port cable to connect it to your laptop, charge it and download your songs..
You also get a tiny piece of paper...

Ipod Classic 16gb
Advantages: Sleek, Stylish, Great use of technology, Good sound
Disadvantages: Costly, Little hard drive space, dodgy touch screen
...drive space which is virtually non existent. Personally, I have a lot of music and videos that I would like to store on my Ipod but the small 16gb hard drive just cant handle the amount of music and video I want to put on it, unlike the ipod classic which can hold up to 160gb, 10 times as much as the touch.
But if you want a flashy gadget that does have high level of technology and has a fairly long battery life, and are willing to compromise on hard drive space then this is the by far the MP3 player for you, however, if space is essential for you, then the Ipod classic is the ideal MP3 player that is also easy to use....
