...When you fork out lots of money to get a tiny clear plastic box with a tiny square gadget you do freak out a bit? "all that money only for this??". We are in an era where things get smaller and smaller, as an example you might have also seen advertised on TV the new Apple laptop? in a way small things can be a bonus, they save space, are easy to carry? but when is small just too small?? It might be just me but although I do like this ipod I feel it is just too tiny to lose, too fragile to handle? first thing I did when I bought it was to get a silicon case to protect it! As mentioned the packaging is very small, just bigger than a packet of cigarettes of 20. you get your Ipod, your earphones in white and a white USB port cable to connect it to your laptop, charge it and download your songs.. iPod Nano 8GB Pink

Advantages: Lovely Colour and Lovely Size

...This was my second iPod and I chose it for two main reasons. It was pink and it could play videos. It also had 8GB, enough for all my music, and was small enough to fit into my pocket on the plane journeys I take. ---Shape--- The shape of this is iPod is lovely a sleek and small square shape with a pink front and a silver back. It is thin and therefore easy to handle, though when I got it first I did think there was a possibility of it being snapped but I have now had it for a year and have not snapped it yet. The only problem with the silver back is the fact it gets easily scratched, mine is covered in scratches and most of the time I do have it in a case. The colour of it is lovely; it is not as bright and garish as the older version of it, which I have as well. The dial with the buttons on it is also a nice size as it is...

Advantages: Stylish, good quality for sound and pictures
Disadvantages: The click wheel is a bit fiddly and takes some getting used to.

...I bought this product for my husband's birthday. The packaging is very sleek, not easy to remove product though without feeling that you're going to snap something. The small control wheel is a bit fiddly and on first use he accidentally set the language to Chinese. The manuals on the website are good, it only took 2 hours to find out how to get back to English, which incidentally is american english. The capacity of these little things are amazing, sound and pictures are excellent and the ipod itself looks good. Good value for money, I thought its range of features is incredible, and the whole look of it is very good. Not too impressed with the earphones but other than that, a good buy for a present....

...Sound quality You will never get the sound quality from and MP3 player that you would from a standard stereo and the internal amp does limit the volume and sound quality even when hooked up to an external hifi or upgraded headphones. This considered the sound is warm an more than accepable for a device of this type. Ease of use As with all Ipods this can be used simply and easily by users of any level. The menus are simple to navigate and clear. In my experience the Nano's functionality is second to none. Apple ipod nano V3, what an amazing product

Advantages: Fabulous sound, value for money, great look, great colour, easy to use
Disadvantages: I could not find any disadvantages with this product.

...where you can store some games, these games are not the best out there, but they are fine to waste five minutes when your a little bored. And the value for money, you cannot beat it in my opinion. When it comes to the version 3 range of the Apple iPod Nano's, I personally believe it cannot be beaten. I have had this product for about two weeks now, and I have been amazed by it since I bought it. I personally payed £129 for the iPod nano V3 from Argos stores, although it can be ordered online through "Argos Direct" at argos.com I would highly recomend this product and so far I have found no faults with it, and cannot see myself finding any. Ipod Nano

Advantages: Great sound, Looks great
Disadvantages: Rather costly for the small amount of space

...help me remember important dates that I would otherwise forget. As with the old ipod nano, you get 3 games but can buy more from the itunes store for £3.99. The three games you get are vortex, iquiz and klondike solitaire, which is by far my favourite. However, unlike the ipod touch, you don't have access to the internet which is one of the disadvantages of the nano. Another disadvantage of the nano is the small hard drive. 8gb is personally too small for my range of music. Prices For the ipod nano, in blue, if your to buy from Apple will set you back about £129.00. Which I think is quite a lot for the small hard drive and lack of internet, whereas for only £30 more you can get an ipod classic with an 80gb hard drive, ten times as much more space....
