Apple iPod Nano Product RED (3rd Generation)
Review of Apple IPOD NANO Product RED (3.GEN.) by
olliebradley
Advantages: Supports a charity, great new OS, new interface, great quality, looks smart, very easy to use
Disadvantages: Apple iPod disadvantages, i.e. - no support for WMA, restrictive use of iTunes
...-designed games.
This "Product Red" version is only available in the 8GB capacity. The 2 inch screen has the same amount of pixels as the 2.5 inch iPod classic's display, which means that it has the greatest pixel density of any Apple product - which results in great quality video playback. It will go for 24 hours playing music, and five hours playing video. It's front plate is made from aluminium and the back plate is chrome. The connectivity is the usual iPod USB cable and standard 3.5 jack for the ear buds, with these and the hold switch moved to the bottom of the device. Of course you must use iTunes with the device.
"Product Red" is the red coloured version of the aluminium front plate, and some of the proceeds from your purchase going towards AIDs organisations in Africa.
Another great product from Apple....

Apple iPod Nano 8GB Black
Review of Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black by
ICE-COLD
Advantages: Easy To Use And Lots Of New Features
Disadvantages: None
...Apple iPod Nano 8GB Black
I personally love the new design of the Apple iPod Nano. They are very reliable and easy to use. The battery life is great and the video quality is outstanding. The graphics are excellent all round including the video playback. I have dropped my iPod so many times that I have lost count. They are very durable which is great if you are clumsy. With 8 GB of memory you can store about 2,000 songs or 8 hours of video or 7,000 photos, which you can browse whenever you want. The battery life on the iPod is also great. With one charge you can watch about 5 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback. I paid about £130 for my iPod and it was worth every penny.
There are so many features to the iPod Nano. The latest feature to the iPod Nano is the Video playback feature. You can watch all of the latest TV...

Nano-tastic!
Review of Apple iPod nano RED Special Edition 8GB by
pastiehen
Advantages: Great colour, easy to use, stores 8Gb not just 4
Disadvantages: Disappointing accesories not included
...of the belt clip, as i had adapted the last one to act a cradle.
I have not yet had to have this ipod serviced which is great, but i know that if it did have a problem I could send it to apple free of charge within the years warranty and have it fixed, which is great to know.
I would definately recommend this ipod, I love the colour (the only other 8Gb nano you can have is black) and the ease of use. I would recomment having a case for it though to prevent that lovely colour getting damaged!
Good luck X...

Throw Away Fashion
Review of Apple iPod Nano video 4GB Third Generation by
Pro-Review
Advantages: Beautifully designed, feature packed, wonderfully ergonomic
Disadvantages: Not built to last, really, its not.
...The new Ipod nano is the equivalent of todays high street throwaway fashion, you wear it once then the novelty wears off and the buttons come off. Its the usual story here with apples mp3 players, they were never built to last. This is no exception to the rule, The previous version of the Nano were all plagued by durability problems and it looks like history is repeating itself in the latest nano offering with the biggest problems being broken or damaged screens and software malfunction. On the plus side however, this is a beautifully designed little player, compact, light and feature packed. At 4 - 8 GB it wont be replacing your HDD player just yet but it is great for a smaller music collection or an apple devotee on a budget (you know who you are)
In short this could have been a great player if Apple had learned from their previous...

Great things come in small packages
Review of Apple iPod Nano video 8GB Third Generation by
beccaJ87
Advantages: Easy to use on the go, brilliant screen quality
Disadvantages: None that come to mind
...As a Graphic Design student - Apple products come as standard. I was bought an Ipod Nano 8GB for Christmas, I already own a 60GB one but found it too big to continuously lug around while I was on the move...okay, so it's not exactly huge but it doesn't fit comfortably in a pair of skinny jeans pocket!! My new Ipod Nano is the perfect size - it holds around 1500 songs and I've even got a few Mighty Boosh episodes on there (the viewing quality although small, is perfect). It's super easy to transfer an existing Itunes library on to a new Ipod and takes only a short while. The interface on the Nano itself is stylish and the sound quality is excellent - I'd recommend getting it engraved too! It's a great feature and adds even more personality to this little gem!!...

the sound of good music
Review of Apple iPod Nano 8GB Second Generation by
nitram3000
Advantages: great sound holds a lot of songs
Disadvantages: instructions are very basic and can be hard to find the music
...New apple ipod
I have recently bought a new apple ipod nano
Before now I have used an mp3 player, which is ok except mine holds very little songs and uses AAA batteries which I must say don’t last long so I decided to buy a I pod this ipod cost me £169 from Argos when I got it I was expecting a medium sized box and was very surprised to see a very small clear box.
Inside was:
The new apple ipod
White earphones
Instruction manual
The USB cable
And a stand
Using the ipod:
The ipod has a built in battery which is better then the mp3 player because I no longer have to replace the batteries which over time is expensive, and it lasts for 24 hours where my mp3 only lasted 8.
To charge the ipod just connect to the computer via the USB cable and connect that to the bottom of the ipod on the left this will start the charging...

iPod Nano 8 GB Green
Review of Apple iPod nano 8 GB by
Up-High-Down-Low
Advantages: High Quality Video Playback
Disadvantages: None So Far
...iPod Nano 8 GB Green
Apple is one of the most well known companies in the world and they are mostly known for their computers and iPods. I have never met someone who hasn't heard of the company Apple. The iPod Nano is the best model of iPods released so far. I recommend that if you buy this product as a gift you should also purchase an iTunes gift voucher.
With 8 GB of memory you just can't go wrong. The battery life on the iPod Nano is outstanding. You can watch up to 5 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback just on one charge. The new design is the main reason I brought this iPod Nano.
The iPod Nano its self is very durable and they very rarely break. There are many new features to the iPod Nano. Its most obvious feature is its wide design. Music is the main reason people buy iPod Nanos. With 8 GB of memory you don...

An apple for an eye-pod
Review of Apple iPod Nano video 8GB Third Generation by
phil124lufc
Advantages: very potable, good memory, tiny.
Disadvantages: a bit harsh on your eyes after a bit.
...The Apple iPod Nano is a superb portable device that simply pushes new boundary's in the ipod craze. The size of this ipod is incredible hence the name Nano. this version comes with a massive 8GB of memory witch is more than enough for your music and movie collection.
The Apple ipod Nano has outstanding screen quality with it's Display Resolution of 320 x 240. The colors are surprisingly crisp and bright and never any blur or shadows. Digital pictures are good as well. The 2 inch screen also means that it's hard on your eyes after a while, if you think playing on the Nintendo DS is a bit harsh on ye eyes then wait until you try these!
One of the new features on the ipod is the inclusion of 3 built in games iPod Quiz, Klondike and patience. There not bad but for an extra but their nothing special.
The Apple ipod Nano can play most...

Apple raise the bar again
Review of Apple iPod Nano 4GB white by
bermudaviper
Advantages: Ridiculously small, colour screen, good battery life, ultra cool
Disadvantages: Ridiculously small, no mains adapter included only USB cable
...is no different to the previous models, maybe slightly lacking in bass, but still loud and clear enough for me. The headphones are the standard iPod affair, with a slightly shorter stereo connector that plugs into the bottom of the unit next to the sync cable.
Apple have also taken the plunge to release an all-black Nano, this is maybe due to the popularity of the U2 edition, but I feel many more colours will be available in the near future as demand grows. The standard chrome backed case has been used on both the black and white models. There is also talk of an 8GB version which should be released at the beginning of 2006.
I think Apple have another sales hit on their hands, which is probably a good thing seeing as they axed the best selling player from the lineup (the mini), but I think they knew nothing was going to come close to the Nano...

iPod- Not all its cracked up to be
Review of Apple iPod nano 8 GB Green by
Emzy1591
Advantages: Good sound, good video
Disadvantages: Breaks Easily, Memory needs to be bigger if videos are going to be on it.
...I've never had an MP3 player, always a iPod, I got the new 8gb nano in green and it lasted a month before the screen cracked and Apple refused to repair it unless i paid £100 in which it would of been better to just buy a whole new iPod. While it worked- the video was amazing and the sound quality was amazing. Cover flow made it look very modern and easy to find the music you are looking for. Although one problem is that you cant put videos on it unless you pay £1.89 to itunes and you cant put movies on it either (it would take up too much memory but also you can't put films on ipods anyway as Apple dont allow it). If you were to buy this product i would warn people to not knock it too much as it is very tempermental and will break very easily. Mine was in my bag for half an hour and the screen was smashed and i can no longer watch...
