The iPod Shuffle still has the 'trademark' wheel at the front, including the centre button for play/pause, and you are able to switch tracks using the buttons on the left and right, and the top and bottom buttons alter the volume. And well...that's it. Am I disappointed it lacks a screen? In a way, yes. I like to be able to view my music, and feel as though I am properly in control. I don't like how there's not even a small screen going along the top which could display the track title. But, on the other hand, (and I am going to completely contradict myself here), I'm quite pleased there isn't a screen, because it makes the Shuffle appear very 'clean' and simple, which I am sure was Apple's idea when creating this MP3 player. The iPhone is great, but with a 16GB hard drive it just isn't quite large enough to store my masses of music on. ..., an instruction booklet and an ipod shuffle deck to plug into your computer to load songs onto it. But there is a big problem with this, Apple are still using the complicated and rubbish i-tunes and you are still unable to really use anything else to load the music onto the ipod. When you plug your ipod into the computer I-tunes likes to do it's own thing, sometimes deleting all your music from your ipod without you asking it to do so. It is also hard to load songs onto itunes or to find them and it will not do this automatically for you. I would love it to be compatible with Windows Media Player, as this is a music player which truley works the way you want (excluding version 11!). ipod shuffle

Advantages: small hold lots of songs
Disadvantages: low battery life can't see song names

...i really dont like this mp3 player. yes it holds alot of songs and its small but you can't see what song your playing you have to skip through them untill you find it. the earphones that apple supply with the shuffle break easily i had mine for about 4 months before they stopped working and that was due to normal use. the battery life isn't that good either if your just letting it play through without skipping then it isn't bad but the more you skip or pause the quicker your battery runs out and that is the downfall of no batteries as you have to wait untill you are at a computer before you can charge it. itunes also automatically updates your ipod so if there is a song that has been deleted from itunes but you want it on your ipod its tough it gets deleted anyway....

...a bargain in price and because its so small I wear it under my sleeve so that I feel no threat of having it pinched whilst I run. It's easy to charge and once charged seems to last a very long time. All in all I am very pleased with my Ipod shuffle and it does everything that i need it to do. *please be aware that if you buy from argos you cant take it back unless its faulty so make sure you get right colour and storage level etc....
