Once You Go Mac, You Never Go Back!
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
scotlandizdabest
Advantages: Fast, Brilliant Design, Brilliant Software, Brilliant!
Disadvantages: Pricey
...After writing some of my reviews on this laptop, I thought itself is worth a review. Enjoy
What Is It?
The Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT is the latest notebook to add to the Apple Mac range. For anyone who doesn't understand Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT, this basically means it is a lot faster than any other notebook previously made by Apple. TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor which means the pixel quality will be very good so brilliant to play movies, games on etc.
Why Pick Apple Computers?
Ever since 1977, Apple has been making computers to compete with Microsoft. Apple was popular but it wasn't until the iPod was released, that made Apple a huge name and that is when I heard of the company. Apple are now a leading competor in the Computer market. The MacBooks replaced the iBook which were...

Overall Personal Review of the MacBook
I’ve had my MacBook for close to three months now, so I will review the laptop as best I can. Making the transition between a PC and a Mac can often be a strenuous task, after reading a lot of opinion, forums, papers and mainly a bulk of second hand information I knew exactly what to expect, I’m glad to say that it wasn’t as half as bad as I thought it would be...

An Apple today keeps the hardship away
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
matt_fletcher
Advantages: Lightning speed, intuitive workflow, simple to use, beautiful to look at.
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited compatable software, poor screen visibility.
...I have always had a certain hatred- an abhorrence, even- for Apple Inc. I saw the Apple Macs as being silly gimmicks, reserved only for those who feel the deep desire to use something flawed, purely because it's different. And maybe when I was younger and felt this way (about a year ago), that's the way it was. But now, after being forcefully led into using Apple Macs due to the nature of the graphic design degree I am about to start, I have discovered that Macs aren't PCs' horribly deformed and yet highly praised twins; I have instead concluded that they are beautiful, fast, graphically led, intuitive and essentially fun computers.
Ordering:
-------------
As I mentioned earlier, I decided on buying an Apple Macbook over a PC laptop due to them being the industry standard for the visual arts. I ordered it from the online shop...

Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 15.4" TFT
Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
sammyboi08
Advantages: ''
Disadvantages: ''
...;-)
General comments: I wanted to upgrade my old Titanium Powerbook (bought in 2001) and so took a flight to London to personally handle the latest MacBook Pro 17". I walked into the shop in Regent Street with £3000 cash - discovered the MBP was in my eyes rubbish, so came home again without wasting my money. I had seen the Macbook 13" black book and was impressed since it was compact and had most of the features of the MBP. Hence at the start of December 2007 I walked into a shop in France and bought it - you can only go for so long trying to use hardware which is seven years old when working in the hi-tech world. I made the compromise and bought this Macbook and was able to persuade Monsieur Lawrence of Apple Service in France to exchange the French keyboard for a QWERTY one free of charge. He was also kind enough to send me the latest "Leopard...

Apple Macbook Laptop
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
AndrewPo
Advantages: Small, well made, unix, Mac OSX
Disadvantages: small screen, white key board can get dirty
...I have updated this review with a lot of extra detail
This Macbook looks great and quite different and is better made than many other machines with similar specifications. In white, which is the standard/cheaper option it looks very different from your average laptop, although is prone to getting dirty fingerprints around the keyboard, which ruins the effect a little, unless you are careful. If you prefer Mac OSX rather than a Windows operating system I would certainly recommend it. I am a fan of unix, which is the underlying operating system for all Macs (i.e. the layer of software below Mac OSX) which is very accessible through a Terminal window, but this is probably irrelevant for most users. If however you prefer Windows (e.g. Vista) it is also possible to run Windows via a program called Bootcamp although of course this would add...

Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT
Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT by
pieceofmind
Advantages: nice screen, good battery life, fast specs
Disadvantages: large size (price?)
...Apple mac-books, where to start...
ok, so to start,
it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are.
this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop.
The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop.
The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money...

Analysis of Apple MacBook
Review of Apple MacBook Core Duo 1.83 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
samp17
Advantages: Long lasting battery, Large bright screen, Robust and very fast
Disadvantages: Cannot upgrade memory, small speakers, gets very hot very quickly
...I recently got one of these laptops for second hand. They are very good laptops. I am a student and the laptop gets thrown around quite a bit. They are built very solidly and after being dropped and sat on several times, the case has no dents or cracks in it, nothing rattles, and everything works perfectly. It is set in a moulded plastic white case which will scratch easily.
Because of the moulded case it is not easy to upgrade the memory or hard drive in it, so be warned if you plan to do this you will have to send it away to apple.
The battery is the longest lasting battery I have ever seen from a laptop. I used to play dvds on the train when commuting, and playing dvds the laptops battery will last for over three hours, when I have seen standard windows laptops struggle to last half an hour when playing solitaire.
The advantage...

Apple of My Eye!
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
lisacallow
Advantages: Robust, ease of use, compact and portable!
Disadvantages: None
...the more traditional approach of a mouse. With 2 USB ports you can instantly plug in an Apple USB Mouse or any other for that matter!
In terms of speed and storage the Macbook serves up 1GB RAm (upgradable to 2GB for around £125 via Apple) which is great if you have invested in your MacBook for the long-term. The massive 120 GB Hard-Drive is also upgradable to 160 gig if you require additional memory, however 120 Gig is huge for a laptop and unless you are replacing a home PC its doubtful you'll necessarily take up all the memory on your Macbook with just personal usage, then again it depends what you are using it for. I currently have about 12 gig of music on mine!
The Apple MacBook Pro 2 GHz Core Duo Laptop uses the very powerful Intel Core Duo processor with a processor speed of 2 GHz and the operating system used to run the Laptop...

TAKE A BITE AND BUY AN APPLE
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
jonnydeppontv
Advantages: no viruses, looks good, easy to use, Its an Apple
Disadvantages: NONE!
...After owning a Powerbook G4 previously, I needed a replacement - I looked around and considered buying a Sony Vaio - but ended up back with Apple and purchased the MacBook Core 2 Duo with Intel processor.
I went for the smallest one of the 3 - only because it was purely for home use. I only use it for surfing the internet, downloading pictures and music so I did not need to much memory. Plus I have an external hardrive should I need to free up space.
The software you get with a Mac is excellent -everything is much more 'friendly' compared to Microsoft - OK, Vista has arrived - but when you look at it Apple was doing all that years ago! Plus Apple have a new software edition called Tiger which comes out October 2007 which will knock socks off Vista.
I Photo - the new version is brilliant - much better than the previous ones - it just...

Fly in Air, MacBook Air
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
gemsarchitect
Advantages: Ultra thin construction, light weight
Disadvantages: Sacrificed some features to its size
...to configuration and some basic accessibility features.
Apple is a grandfather of laptop market, when they launched their super hit model MacBook Pro, rolled out market toward Apple.
The main reason behind hitting market by Apple MacBook was its configuration and superb graphics quality.
After the huge success of MacBook Pro Apple has decided to go for ultra thin laptop market, considering high profile market, and they have launched newly MacBook air, light weight an about 2cm thin laptop.
Here I will discuss on configuration, portability, handling, advantages and disadvantages of MacBook air.
Size and Weight
First of all this is the main feature of MacBook air so that I would like to mention its size and weight here.
The main aim of MacBook air was its ultra thin size so having this, it has about 2cm thick and weight is about 1...
