Apple Macbook core 2 duo 2ghz 13"
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
nickyg63
Advantages: sexy fast different simple
Disadvantages: could take a bit of getting used to
...After thinking what laptop to buy for over a year I kept falling back on the idea of buying mac!
I had wireless set up and off I went to buy a laptop. I fell in love with the macbook very sexy and simple (bit like myself)! I'm not here to bore you with specs (you know what you need you just want to know how well it performs).
I opted for the 13" as its smaller and cheaper £699! Its a very competant little machine that can do everything you want it too, its wifi is very good and stable. Its amazingly simple to use far less complicated than windows! I love the two fingers on the mouse pad to scroll down pages, also the quality of the display and the way it works out when you mistype (somehow apple have made it work out sausage finger typing and it doesn,t put that letter in).
The operating system is fast at booting up, did I...

Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT
Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT by
pieceofmind
Advantages: nice screen, good battery life, fast specs
Disadvantages: large size (price?)
...Apple mac-books, where to start...
ok, so to start,
it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are.
this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop.
The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop.
The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money, it is probably one...

MacBook Marvel
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
Sowden
Advantages: Everything; style; speed; software
Disadvantages: No memory card reader
...What can I say! I know that there is great debate over Mac vs. Windows, but as for me, I am convinced. Apple is the way forward.
The machine comes packaged in a smart slimline box and carefully wrapped and guides you through the setup with ease. The preinstalled software is top-notch and intuitive and the speed of the machine is magnificent. The battery life is good and long, shortening if streaming video over the web or high drain applications are being used.
Any problems with it? Well, too few to be overly concerned. But if you were to push me I would have liked a Memory Card reader incorporated.
The quality is far superior to any other computer I have ever used (including previous iMac) and Intel chip makes it a must have if you really need the use of any Windows programs.
Go on, BUY ONE!...

samclarkesurvey
Advantages: Mac OSX operating system, running windows/linux/etc. if chosen, style, compact and stylish design

...For those who have expirence with mac's they will be aware of the operating system. Macbook: The Only Choice
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
chids
Advantages: Looks, Simplicity, Works out-of-the-box, battery life, power
Disadvantages: Case feels a little cheap, Screen attracts fingerprints
...Before buying a macbook i looked at other manufacturers such as Dell and HP, but none of them offered the instant out-of-the-box functionality that the Macbook did.
My Macbook was purchased direct from Apple and took just two days to arrive. And, as promised, it worked straight out of the box. I just pressed power filled out my user details and i was going. The setup hooked me onto my wireless internet and i was away.
The first thing that struck me was the size of the thing, it's only slightly thicker than an average sized hardback notepad and weighs just over 2 kg, in other words it's a perfect size. Before the Macbook i had a HP ultra-portable which was too small, too slow and too ugly. The Macbook is just right in all of those categories.
The powerful Core2Duo processor really packs a punch; all of my applications launch instantly...

Everything needed in a laptop
Review of Apple MacBook Core Duo 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
Gryffprefect
Advantages: iSight Camera, Fast, pratical design, built-in network card
Disadvantages: Poor quality Superdrive, sometimes makes noises
...'s still enough space to get the programmes and files that you want and still have a fast running computer. And you can definately see the difference of the Core Duo processor compared to other computers. My macbook runs as fast as my desktop PC perhaps even faster.
It's the laptop for buisness and pleasure.
And now the disadvantages. I must admit the Superdrives they have fit into the Macbooks are of rather low quality. You would see the Mashita UJ-857 drive is full of problems if you have ever seen the Apple support boards. It seems that Apple is not doing much to fix the problems but have replaced the drives for some people with these problems. I have had a bit of difficultly myself with the drive but it is very minimal. Probably the worst problem with mine is that it does not read some DVDs and spits them back out but other than...

Apple's Powerful MacBook
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
Surj1
Advantages: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, i-Life & i-Sight
Disadvantages: None
...generation Mac Notebooks.
The design of the MacBook is very sleek and only 2.75cm thin. It's very compact taking into account the technology it carries. The design makes it easy for you to take anywhere and also has a tough polycarbonate case, so you don't have to worry too much if it knocked around a little.
The MacBook comes with iLife '08, an exciting range of applications that make it easy function. It also features Front Row, so you can navigate your music, movies and photos at the touch of the Apple remote control which comes included with the MacBook. I love the Wi-Fi which I use all the time; there's no need to mess around configuring settings etc. Just find nearest Wi-Fi hotspot and surf.
Main Features & Functions:
- Intel Core 2 Duo (T7400) 2.2GHz processor with 667MHz FSB and 4MB Shared L2 Cache
- 1024 MB (2x512 MB) 667MHz PC2...

Macbook: Just worlds thinnest notebook thats all?
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
joshm12
Advantages: Great look and design
Disadvantages: No Disk drive
...The macbook air, is not the most pracitcal of laptops. Afterall, it doesnt even have a disc drive!
However, opinions can be of two styles, a visual style, or a practical style.
I for one prefer visual styles of practicality, but can definately see some key flaws in this product.
Let's start with the disadvantages:
NO CD DRIVE
The cd drive was removed from this laptop, simply to make the macbook air as thin as possibe. Apple chose "looks" over "personality" in this case. and i think they made a huge mistake. Most of the applications connecting computers with our daily lives, require cd roms. of course apple suggest that you buy an addition cd drive which plugs into one of the usb ports. but this is just a hassle, and seems uneccesary to start buying extra necessities for an already expensive product.
SECONDLY
The macbook air...

TAKE A BITE AND BUY AN APPLE
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
jonnydeppontv
Advantages: no viruses, looks good, easy to use, Its an Apple
Disadvantages: NONE!
...After owning a Powerbook G4 previously, I needed a replacement - I looked around and considered buying a Sony Vaio - but ended up back with Apple and purchased the MacBook Core 2 Duo with Intel processor.
I went for the smallest one of the 3 - only because it was purely for home use. I only use it for surfing the internet, downloading pictures and music so I did not need to much memory. Plus I have an external hardrive should I need to free up space.
The software you get with a Mac is excellent -everything is much more 'friendly' compared to Microsoft - OK, Vista has arrived - but when you look at it Apple was doing all that years ago! Plus Apple have a new software edition called Tiger which comes out October 2007 which will knock socks off Vista.
I Photo - the new version is brilliant - much better than the previous ones - it just...

Great piece of technology, some amazing features
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
suparstar123
Advantages: Great looks and easy to use, yet powerful, operating system
Disadvantages: maybe a bit pricey, but definitely worth it...
...This is a great laptop. Love it. Everything just works the way you want it to and it looks great too...
The macbook allows for easy customisation during the order just like any apple produce when you buy it from http://apple.com, and some of the upgrades are quite impressive such as up to 250gb of storage space and a stunning mini DVI output so you can easily connect a second display.
Overall it's a great piece of work, partly to do with it's features and partly to do with the amazing Apple Macintosh OS X 10.5 Operating system that beats Windows Vista hands down in many, if not all, respects. Os X has some great features and is really easy to use, even for someone who comes from a windows environment you will soon find yourself at home and enjoying some of the over 300 new features available in the latest version.
On the software side...
