Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT

Advantages: nice screen, good battery life, fast specs
Disadvantages: large size (price?)

...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money, it is...

Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 15.4" TFT

Advantages: ''

..." (OS10.5) disk since the display model I had bought had the old "Tiger" 10.4.10. Since I work with multimedia and am very impressed with the software delivered with iLife (disk included with the Apple products) I was disappointed to see that most of the items which are of use, do not work using Leopard. So I returned to the older Tiger and this is the system that I am presently testing. With only 1GB of memory I believed that the applications may be a little slow but actually everything seems to be operating as usual. My old Titanium runs at 400MHz and so with the present speed of 2.16GHz I expected an increase in speed but should have known that there would be no change. Software takes just as long to start up, close down and granted I can run several enormous programs parallel, nothing actually is any faster. Points of comment 1...

Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 15.4" TFT

Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz - 13.3" TFT - excellent!

Advantages: portable, runs very fast, large storage with TimeMachine application for backing up your work
Disadvantages: some problems with using Safari, though this may be due to the wireless network I am using, costs!

...In my opinion, the Apple Macbook Pro is an ideal laptop. As a student, I find that it meets all my needs - I can store plenty of music, photos etc even though I bought the cheapest one with the smallest memory. The system operates very fast and comes with both Firefox and Safari. My only criticism is that it only comes with textedit and so you have to buy iWorks for around £65. However, despite this it is good value for money and I don't regret spending my 2 years worth of part-time earnings on it! It has everything I want from a laptop and is ideally portable and good for watching films despite the smaller screen size. Another feature I particularly liked was that it has a light up keyboard for when you are in darker rooms - you can adjust the brightness of the keyboard the same as you can for the screen. Looks very impressive! It is...

MacBook pro, Quality speaks itself.

Advantages: excellent graphics, design with classic look
Disadvantages: Price is slightly higher

...Apple MacBook Pro MB133B/A *** Something about background and history Apple MacBook pro notebooks are most popular available notebooks in the world with its superb graphics and eye catching design and look. Apple has always won the war of IT and computing market by launching superb product time to time. First they introduced iPod and it has change the way of music. After that in notebook line PowerBook was launched and it got huge popularity among consumers. After that in early 2006 MacBook pro series notebook has been launched and after completing almost more than two years, it is more popular notebooks in the market yet. Apple's previous notebooks featured with PowerPC processors but in MacBook they have provided powerful multicore Intel processors with Intel Core 2 Duo and these are the latest available processors till now...

Late 2008 Macbook Pro

Advantages: Large screen, backlit keyboard, aluminium casing, unibody
Disadvantages: Expensive!

...whereby there is tearing in the videos that I did not and do not experience on any of my previous Macs. The screen also closes itself when viewed at an acute angle, for example on your lap whilst in bed. I am giving this Macbook pro a rating of 4 stars, this is due the difference in price with respect to performance when compared with the last generation black macbook. I do not consider the £500 price difference to be justified by any gain in performance or functionality. It seems you are paying purely for an updated appearence and apple logo....

MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.16Ghz

Advantages: Powerful, Easy to use Software. Not Windows.
Disadvantages: None, honestly.

...This is my first Mac and to say I am amazed is an understatement, this laptop is simply the bomb, everything you could wish for, Fast, Cool and very nice to look at. It has a lighted keyboard making working in low light conditions a breeze. It has 2 USB ports , a FireWire 400 and 800 port and a DVI Port for the best connectivity possible by current standards. The included software is superb, the Magnetic Power Connector is nice and makes using it near animals or small children no problem, if the brush past it, it simply pulls out without risk of knocking the laptop off. This is the Core 2 Duo version of the MacBook Pro that is Cooler and Slightly faster than the Previous model, the other major differences between this and the older models is the Cache 4 Meg vs 2meg and the addition of 128 Bit SSE making this equal to greater than...

Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 DUe

Advantages: Most points are advantages, excellent laptop!!
Disadvantages: can be difficult with compatibility when dowloading, doesn't work with 4OD

...I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a laptop. It's very easy to use, even for somebody who would describe themselves as computer illiterate. It's suitable for both personal and professional uses and the small details such as the built-in camera and the iphoto application aswell as the remote that comes with it which can be used for power point presentations etc. make the Apple Macbook Pro stand out amongst other brands. It has bluetooth for easy connection with your mobile phone which can come in handy, regular update alerts which have been suprisingly useful. The safari internet server is very well set out and easy to use. As a student with lots of essays to write and passages and reports to download from the internet, it was important to me for my laptop to have a system that would allow this to be both easy...

Why you would be happy with a macbook pro

Advantages: Stunning Looks, Always Works, Brilliant Service, Vivid Screen, Good Battery Life, Well Built
Disadvantages: Quite Exspensive

...Why to buy a Apple Macbook For those of you who have ever walked into an apple store and been taken away by the good looks of there brand, lovingly gazed at electronics and told yourself i would love that but never could afford it and it seems very strange to use. This review is about me explaining why i have purchased this laptop As said the i have written this review to talk to you like a person, im not trying to increase apples sales or help flog you something you don't want. I am writing this as if you were a friend talking over coffee. Personal Experience I have had pcs and laptops in the past, normally working fine but with no special qualities. I then decided to save up more a mac laptop, for studying at university as a design student. I loved carrying round my new laptop and using it in public places call me...

Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 15.4" TFT

Old design hides great new features

Advantages: Huge, High res display. Very quick, great processor, ram, high capacity HDD
Disadvantages: No unibody design, some features only available on SMALLER model, Still no Blu-Ray

...Let me be frank. I am a fan of Apple computer. This is no secret. I love more or less everything they do, and although I hope to be objective, here, you are reading the review of a card carrying member of the Cult of Mac. I had heard that apple had been prepping a redesign to the MacBook pro line for some time, and had held off on purchasing my new macbook pro until this happened. Sadly, the updates came, and the 17 inch top end model was not part of the refresh. The cool new unibody macbook pro's are limited to the 15 inch model. I agonised over the choice for some time, the new 15 inch MBP's are so impressive, but eventually, screen real estate won out, and I brought the older design 17 inch model. I have to say, I am not disappointed. The computer is a replacement for my old 17 inch PowerBook G4, which was itself no slouch...
