...Having already done two GCSE maths exams, I am currently in the process of revising for my last. The course I am doing is AQA Modular (3300). I have found this revision guide invaluable. It covers modules one, three and five, meaning you can look up anything that you are not sure about. Modules two and four are coursework, which varies from school to school, so they cannot include these. This book is aimed at those students taking the higher tier paper. The Layout CGP books are famous for their fun and colourful way of presenting information. This guide is no exception. In this review i will be reviewing GCSE level Science, Maths and History CGP revision books. The Science books are at higher level, the Maths at intermediate and the History is Modern World History. It has everything you need to know in the very concisley and in language you can easily understand. ...As a 17 year old student i thought i'd give my opinion of these guides. Personally i own quite a few, and i have found them useful. They are humourous (kind of) and they have good diagrams, unfortunatly they aren't idiot proof, and you need to know your stuff before you can use them, which can cause a problem as most of the time, i don't have a clue about it, and so these guides arn't the best, i suppose they are good for revision but that's about it. Some revision guides will give you a more full explanation of things. Instead of making you search through reams of rubbish it has it all there for you, making each page as important as the last. ...Where do I start! These books are packed with useful information needed to help you with exams. My daughter has a few of these books and they have got her through her exams. Here are a few: KS3 Science Revision Guide Levels 5-7 This is one of the best revision guides I have ever bought. It contains information on things such as Plants & Animals, Chemical Reactions, Acids & Alkilis, Forces & Friction and much more. The pages are layed out well and contain fun and useful images and diagrams. The information is easy to take in and learn. You can even buy work books, which are just like SATs questions. The answers are contained in the Science book. KS3 Mathematics Revision Guide Levels 6-8 This book is quite confusing and has lots of diagrams and equations that just have to be learnt!
