Aqualand Waterpark

Advantages: Great day out for all the family
Disadvantages: Lots of stairs to climb

...and even then you weren't waiting all day to get on the rides. The wave pool generates waves of over 2 metres which can get very busy at times, but it is still great fun. While we was there we was told by our rep that you can actually stay at Aqualand as a set holiday. Not sure if this would get slightly boring after a week....

Hossegor, France

Advantages: Beats any British beach holiday hands down
Disadvantages: Strong currents on some days
