The key card allows you 24 / 7 access through the back door, which, although on the second floor, is approached up a steep driveway under the railway arch to the rear of the hotel. Unless in some way physically disabled, there is no problem with orienteering your way around the Wildbach. There is no reception or bar as such, the ground floor being taken up by the kitchen and two rooms of the restaurant, the smaller of which is non-smoking. The staircase rises through the middle of the house, opening onto a landing on which all six rooms are located, the three at the front having en-suite bathrooms, the three to the rear - directly under the railway, having a shared bathroom - also on the landing. Disadvantages: Expensive. Room features, car parking, congestion charge

...Me and my husband stayed at Marriott Marble Arch Hotel for our Wedding Anniversary,(Bonfire Night) we stayed from 4th - 6th November 2006 as i wanted to go on the London Eye this year as i thought we would get a good view of the fire works. The hotel is of a very high standard and is kept well maintained, although we felt it was expensive for where it is situated compared to other hotels. The bedrooms are very tastefully decorated and are quite roomy compared to other hotels. It had a queen size bed which is about the size of a double bed plus half again, the mattress was soft and comfortable (which i like) no good if you like a firm one and the pillows were large and fluffy, it is the best bed i have slept in i had a thoroughly good night sleep. Advantages: Nice and comfortable hotel, attractive, helpful staff, good location.
Disadvantages: Rooms quite expensive (although I didn't pay the full price), over-priced drinks!

These islands not only boast the most magnificent beaches in the whole of Northern Europe they are also packed full of hundreds of little curiosities, some of which could be easily missed but turn out to be real little gems. Arch-er'd want more from an attraction

Advantages: Historically interesting
Disadvantages: Can't help feeling it should be more interesting (and fun)

...the windows and come back?that's it! The most exciting part for me was the pods for the journey up. The views out aren't incredibly interesting - we were able to see our hotel (but you couldn't miss it, it was opposite the Arch) and that was fun?for about 5 seconds. Then the novelty of the whole experience wore off pretty rapidly. Don't get me wrong, from the ground, the Arch is beautiful and a feat of architecture and design ingenuity, but in terms of paying and using it as 'something to do', it's not that hot. I would say it was the most interesting thing I got to do in St.Louis, unless I missed something from the guide book that was too good for words (???) but sorry, that doesn't say much for St.Louis really, does it? *For those interested, the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial was established to commemorate several historical events...

Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine

Advantages: Fantstic guitars , great vocals , everything fits together
Disadvantages: some songs are repetive , too long and out of place

...Here we have one of the most successful Swedish death metal bands, shown here on the verge of their mainstream metal breakthrough. Personally doomsday machine is my favourite arch enemy album, it gets the balance right between power and creativity and doesn't bore the listener. Some of the riffs on this album are fantastic and very original, the solos are very good, and the first time I heard the vocals I could not believe such a sound could come from a woman! Needless to say I was very impressed with this album, after listening to wages of sin, and anthems of rebellion, doomsday machine is quite clearly the peak of Arch Enemy's stand out sound. It's not The Arches fault, they are just too busy...

Advantages: If the dish is available, then you won't be disappointed. Hats off to the kitchen!
Disadvantages: Staff & managers are supposed to make guests feel special, not like an inconvenience.

...mention of a cocktail would have them running around looking for bottles etc. As an ex-bartender with ten years management experience as well, I know it should not take 15 minutes to make a cocktail. All-in-all, The Arches is a Glasgow institution which everyone raves about but, in my opinion, it is "all fur coat and no knickers."...
