Cheap and cheerful in Paris

Advantages: Well priced. Great location
Disadvantages: Basic hotel.

...I have stayed at the Hotel Aris Nord in Paris on a number of occasions. Whilst it is not a luxurious hotel it is functional, friendly and reasonable and I would highly recommend it. Location It is ideally located for Eurostar trips to Paris being about 5 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. It is also 5 minutes walk away from Gare du L'est so is in easy reach of the Metro and mainline. The Rue du Fauborg is an exciting street (although quiet enough to sleep). It has many bars / restaurants along it. Due to this being an ethnic quarter of Paris there are many Indian / Albanian and other ethnic restaurants. Of course there are also the traditional french bars and brasseries selling steak, chips, red wine and beer. As these tend to be inhabited by the French rather than tourists they are reasonably priced. Price The hotel...

La dolce vita?

Advantages: Reasonable price, lots of facilities
Disadvantages: Needs re-decorating, miles from Rome

...When I went on my trip to Rome last month, I booked the hotel Aris Garden through Expedia. My reason for making this choice was as follows - after booking my flight, Expedia asked me where I wanted to stay, and I ordered the list of hotels by price, then looked down the list for the best available - I didn't simply want to choose the cheapest (as I do have some standards whatever the bf says) so I looked for the best value hotel. I saw that the Aris Garden was listed as being 4-star and wasn't too expensive so that was the one I chose. ►Location The address is: Via Aristofane 101 Rome, 00125 Italy When you look at the maps on Expedia, this looks pretty easy to get to from the airport, as it is only about 6 miles away. Boy, is that misleading! There are no direct roads from the airport to the hotel. A taxi journey...

Review of Hotel Aris Garden, Rome

Hotel Madero Not the best Location In Buenos Aries

Advantages: Waterfront ,Modern , walking Distance to Cafe and Restaurants
Disadvantages: Characterless Area , with a lot of Modern looking Apartments and Hotels

...I visit Argentina a lot , this Area has been re built from Old Warehouses and Docklands with some nice Restaurants and New Hotels. It is by the waterfront and compared to the rest of Buenos Aries is a bit without Character something missing , Clinical even !. The best area to stay is Recoleta. The Hotel itself is a Sofitel and is very good , it is an upmarket Hotel but for the price you pay you can get better and Cheaper in a nicer area , (I have stayed in 3 star hotels here that give just as good a service and rooms are equally as nice) I could not fault the rooms or the service, it is Modern /Contemporary . Restaurants good but you can eat better and Cheaper in the restaurants around Town. Clothes are cheaper than Europe you can get some good deals on Designer makes You can walk from here to shops etc but it is a bit too far...

  White Sands Resort South Ari Atol - to die for ?

Advantages: Fantastic weather, scrumptious SCUBA diving
Disadvantages: Can be expensive if you don't keep checking your hotel bill

...Seaplane on offer when we booked but we chose the cheap / free option being skinflints and thinking ? hmm more money for the scuba diving ? don?t do it. As luck would have it everyone else on our island for the return leg had either had previous experience of the speedboat, or basically had more sense and had already pre-booked the plane ? so we were the only ones scheduled for the speedboat so it was cancelled and we got a free trip in the seaplane anyway ? but I wouldn?t risk that for the sake of £85.00 each. White Sands Resort. REMEMBER: Everything you buy / drink / purchase in bars or shops goes onto your room bill which you settle at the END of your stay! You will only need to take about $20 (dollars) for tipping for your entire stay. The resort is one of the most southern in South Ari Atoll, very close to the Sun Island resort...

  Sun Island, South Ari Atoll....a true paradise

Advantages: White beaches, blue ocean, great snorkeling, total relaxation, sports facilities
Disadvantages: A bit too hot for playing squash :-)

It is easy to see this when you fly from the capital Male to your resort island :-) We stayed at a resort called Sun Island (the name of the island is actually Nalaguraidhoo) and it is located in the South Ari Atoll. To get there from the capital Male? you have to take either a 30 minute sea plane flight or go there by boat?a trip that will take about 2 ½ hours. We chose to go for the sea plane option (which cost a bit more than the boat) and we don?t regret that because it was amazing to see the islands from the air. Sun Island is operated by Villa Hotels and they also own other resorts such as Fun Island, Royal Island, Paradise Island and Holiday Island. She was born India Arie Simpson on October 3, 1975 in Denver Colorado, her father Ralph Simpson was an NBA Player and her mother Joyce was a former singer herself. India started having an interest in music at an early age and she pretty soon started learning to play various instruments. Though She is most well known for playing the guitar. She was discovered by a motown executive in 1999 and two years later released her debut album Acoustic Soul. ...India's voice... Boppy happy days

...I felt compelled to write a review for this - since there is not yet a review and also since this is one of my all time favourite albums! I first heard this at university when someone living on my corridor used to play it at all hours of the day. Rather than being irritated by this the music really began to grow on me until I got to the point where I really had to go and find out what it was and buy my own copy! This is in my opinion her best album. The music is really uplifting. India Arie uses a musical style that is probably best described as neo soul with elements of R&B. The album also has quite a folk feel to some of the tracks - for example "Beautiful". The most recogniseable track is "Video" which is about the appreciation of beauty other than that which is skin deep. My personal favourite track for both lyrics...

Who says Entourage is guy stuff?

...I first learned about this Entourage series when I was still with my recent boyfriend. We both love watching DVDs till the wee hours in the morning. My boyfriend and one of his close friend influenced me in watching the series. At first, I was not interested coz it mostly caters to a guys world. But then it taught me a lot of things in understanding a guy's dilemma. :) I have watched the complete season from 1-4 in a week and a half, half of season 5 and hopefully I will finish season 5 and 6 soon!
