...-permanent line of L'Oreal casting crème as I only ever dye my hair semi-permanently as I am too scared of something going wrong and me hating my hair forever. As my hair is so long (it would take probably 5 years to grow the colour out! Eeek!) since Ciao doesn't have a separate product for semi and permanent this is why my review is in this category. Please don't mistake it for permanent, in fact, I'm not even sure you can get excellence crème in permanent; you'll have to do some snooping! I bought this product at boots and it's normally £6.98, which I think is a little pricey for a semi-permanent hair colour but it was a pound of so I got it for £5.98. Casting Creme Gloss

Advantages: Easy to use, covers grey and dodgy highlights, lasting effect

...At nearly six pounds, this isn't the cheapest hair dye out there but it's incredibly easy to use and virtually mess-free. Also, it works. After a disasterous highlighting adventure, i used Casting Creme Gloss in Mahogany to cover up the damage. I have used this product (same colour) in the past, and it covers greys perfectly. I was impressed with the way it also covered up my unwanted highlights. They still show through a little bit, but more as tasteful lowlights as opposed to the brassy orange streaks i had before. Casting Creme Gloss is easy to use. You basically mix two bottles together and shake. The manufacturers have even made a handy slit in the box so that you can wedge your bottle of mixture in it and it will stand upright. Now, that's really thoughtful! ...I always keep a bottle of handwash in both my kitchen and my bathroom, and usually buy the boots essentials range, which costs 89p a bottle. Recently Boots had a buy one get one free offer on Radox products, and as their handwash cost £1.79, I figured it worked out about the same for a better known brand, and put two in my basket. ~Using it~ I've found that one pump of handwash is more than enough to get your hands clean, so it's best to only push the dispenser nozzle about halfway down, or you will get too much liquid. The product lathers up easily under warm water, and it left my hands feeling soft and clean. It doesn't have anti-bacterial properties which is a shame though. A Twisted attempt at a Creme Egg

...I'm not new to these. I discovered them back in 2008 when they were launched. They were introduced as the evil, 'twisted' cousin of the ordinary Cadbury's Crème Egg back in 2008. Where to buy I bought my most recent Twisted from Spar. It cost 59p which is quite a dramatic increase in price to the original introductory cost of 45p last year. They are available in most shops, and can usually be found much cheaper than 59p. I got three for £1 last week in Home Bargains. They tend to be most expensive in garages.
