What an aroma!

Advantages: Wonderful scent, variable freshening
Disadvantages: Needs to be put in a high plug if little ones are around

...I had the strangest sensation one evening last week that my house smelt like a chip shop, I don't know why as we haven't eaten chips in months and likewise haven't used the deep fat fryer. Whatever the cause I was unhappy thinking my house smelt like that and when on my weekly trip to Asda popped an air freshener in the trolly. The Baked Apple & Spice Diffuser Plug- The air freshener I chose was Asda's Baked Apple and Spice Diffuser Plug it comes boxed with 1 bottle of the air freshener scent. The diffuser plug is just that, a plug which fits in a standard electric socket with the diffuser, which you plug the scent bottle into, attached to the front. Aroma my arse!

Advantages: FSC certified, cheapish, your butt may smell a little sweeter?
Disadvantages: STINKS, your butt may smell like an old lady!

...I went shopping last week with my other half, this is highly unusual, usually I go alone with my shopping list in hand and whip round the isles just buying the same products all the time. This time was slightly different, for a start it took twice as long because we were talking and considering different products on the way round. Having my other half in tow can be likened to having a small child with you when shopping, he gets bored! Aroma burst handwash

Advantages: Gets hands clean
Disadvantages: Fragrance too subtle, expensive

...I always keep a bottle of handwash in both my kitchen and my bathroom, and usually buy the boots essentials range, which costs 89p a bottle. Recently Boots had a buy one get one free offer on Radox products, and as their handwash cost £1.79, I figured it worked out about the same for a better known brand, and put two in my basket. ~Using it~ I've found that one pump of handwash is more than enough to get your hands clean, so it's best to only push the dispenser nozzle about halfway down, or you will get too much liquid. The product lathers up easily under warm water, and it left my hands feeling soft and clean. It doesn't have anti-bacterial properties which is a shame though. A great go anywhere, use anytime, oil diffuser

...We are lucky in this country to have a great thing called 'Bank Holidays'. So what do we all do on these days? It seems the majority spend their day off work trudging around crowded, stuffy shopping centres. And yes, you've guessed it this is what l did on May day holiday!!! ...I have been using this shower gel on and off for years... It is one of my favourite shower gel brands 'Palmolive' and this 'Palmolive Aroma Therapy Shower Gel Anti-Stress' is part of the Aromatherapy range of their shower gels. The product is in a light purple liquid gel form and comes in a transparent bottle of the same colour. This shower gel has a lovely almost sweet smell to it, it contains lavender, ylang-ylang and patchouli (have no idea what the last two are...:) It is this rich combination that gives the product its aromatherapy qualities leaving you feeling calmer and relaxed after using it. A Wonderful Fragrance From a Load of Old Sticks........

Advantages: Gives a longlasting fragrance and looks great.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive and only available through a PartyLite Consultant

I do think these reed diffusers are more suited to the smaller room they don't give off a strong enough fragrance to fill a large room but definitely do well in a smaller room. The prices for these diffusers range from £15.95 to £26.45 with the 147ml refills costing £17.95. This does sound rather expensive but I have had mine for almost 5 months now and only the top layer of oil has gone, still leaving another two thirds and the fragrance is still as strong as it was when I first opened it. The catalogue states that the Diffuser gives 120 days of fragrance but in my experience it will definitely give much more. Advantages: relaxation at one of its best

...This is incredible - my parents bought me this and I can't stop using it - it's quiet, soothing, my feet(which are breakable and painful - sorry!) love it and I relax at the same time with the aroma bit. You get 4 different smellies to go in the spa, all of which are tempting (even more so for my puppy who loves soapy type smells!), the warmer the water is the more the aroma is distributed around yourself. I was more than a little curious about the product as I had a friend who was a reflexologist who just managed to tickle me but I find this lovely. The only complaint would be that there are only 2 settings. However, there are special nodules that hold you feet in place so that you get the optimum effect from the massage. I really cannot rate this product high enough - your feet come out feeling very smooth and soft...
