...I have been supporting Arsenal since after the '98 World Cup in France where Wiltord did his last minute magic against Italy in the Final. Ahhhh, those are moments I'll never forget. I remember quite clearly the day I entered a local newsagent and began flipping through the pages of the Official Arsenal Magazine and that's when the Arsenal craze finally hit me. I slowly found out who the Arsenal players were (Overmars, Bergkemp, Petit etc...) and from then on decided to start supporting what I later found out the team called 'The Gunners'. I really don't have that many complaints about the performances of 'The Arsenal' since that moment. Arsenes amazing Arsenal

Advantages: Top flight players and a great club
Disadvantages: none

Advantages: Good youths

...Arsenal I have been an Arsenal fan for four years now, and supporting them has been like a roller coaster ride lots of ups and lots of downs. Last season Arsenal were disappointing in the league, but they were out standing in the champion's league. With great pace and skill Arsenal clawed there way to the final, unfortunately lost to a very strong Barcelona side. It was a different story in the league, at Hibury we played good strong football but away we couldn't play the same classy football. Defence: the Arsenal defence was hit by a lot of injuries. Cole (left back), Clichy (left back), Lauren (right back) and Campbell (centre back). So Flamini had to fill in at left back. ...Having sat infront of the television all day, I watched a cup final today which Arsenal dominated. They had chance after chance to write their name on the cup. I couldn’t believe it, what were Liverpool doing, sitting back and giving them the opportunity to attack. Surely soon enough they would score, and we’d be chasing the game. Is Francis Jeffers the man for Arsenal

...I have been an Arsenal supporter for over 32 years now and starting supporting them at the ripe old age of 5, when I used to save all my pocket money to buy my first Arsenal scarf. I still have it today would you believe. Yesterday Arsenal signed Francis Jeffers for eight million pounds down and a further two million based on appearances. Was this the right choice by Arsene Wenger?. Now we have Henry, Wiltord, Bergkamp, Ljundberg, Kanu and Jeffers. All first team strikers. Already there was a rift brewing between some of these strikers and the manager over selection. Wiltord, Bergkamp and Kanu were all complaining over lack of appearances and lack of first time football. Where does Francis Jeffers fit it? ? I have a strong feeling that there is going to be a lot more moaning and groaning by these other strikers this season...

Whats gone wrong with the Arsenal

Advantages: Unbelievably talented squad
Disadvantages: Very erratic form

...What the hell has gone wrong at the Arsenal, I had them down as Champions for this season, and even had a small wager on them (on the basis that I want anyone but Man United to win the League), as I think my team Liverpool are much to in-experienced to win themselves. Anyway all seemed to be going OK up until the last month or so, since when their away form has been drastic. When you look at Arsenals squad, you think to yourself, "They are badly under-achieving" this season, but WHY? They have in Arsene Wenger, one of the most astute managers in the world, and a very good coach.
