Advantages: More power than DC and Ps2, with Nintendo at the reins
Disadvantages: It's a year off in Japan at least.
...The Dreamcast is laucnched, with additional keyboard, mouse and the ability to use the internet like a PC would.
The Playstation 2 is launched, with the ability to play DVDs and act like a home theater.
Game Cube does none of this.
It won't need to.
People have dissed the N64 from day one, mostly because they thought the games wee childish and boring. These were all Playstation...

DragonBall Z Budokai Finally On The GameCube!
Advantages: Different graphics to its sequels
Disadvantages: Japanese | Subtitles are annoying to read | Sequels are better
...screams (they do that a lot), very good indeed.
The game is not that difficult at start, it is pretty simple, but when you get further into the game, you will find it can be very difficult, at may frustrate you. But if you are a master at fighting games, then you will like this, and probably be able to do well in the fights.
The game costs around £20 - £30 as it has recenlty came out onto the GameCube...

GameCube-A dream realised or Nintendo's Dreamcast
Advantages: Small, portable, 4 players, GBA connectivity, cheap
Disadvantages: No DVD player, bad online range, too many ports

I brought my Cube on in September last year.
The GameCube was released on the 3rd of March 2002. It was Nintendo’s attempt at a Next-Gen console, but from the start there were problems and let downs;
DVD?
Unlike the PS2 and X-BOX, the GameCube does not have the ability to play DVD’s.
