...appearance of the film was very artificial but also had that Spielberg look about it. The graphics were really impressive, and I suppose it is already obvious that most of what you are seeing is CGI and not real, so that accepted it was well done. Personally I'm not the biggest fan of this style of film-making, but perhaps I ought to be more open to different things! The film is very vibrant yet somehow this still didn't stop me finding it depressing. I have to admit I have no recollection of the soundtrack whatsoever, and I think music was pretty sparse in this film. Classification The classification for this film is 12, and I find it very hard to comment on this. There was violence in the film, but it was mostly committed against the "Mecha" - or robot people, so somehow it was quite surreal. I still felt it was inappropriate...

Artificial and Superficial

Advantages: Haley Joel Osment is unnervingly good; Jude Law!
Disadvantages: Banal, cloying story and score, no insight, contrived plot, derivative, tedious, etc....hell, where's Stanley?

...(Pls. see note following review) Methinks Stanley Kubrick's name in the title credits is all that has anything remotely to do with Kubrick. Having said that, there is nothing new or interesting or intelligent that Steven Spielberg offers us in ?A. I.: Artificial Intelligence?. Yes, I chuckled at, oh, some two minutes' worth of film time (and felt them to be inappropriate, nonetheless), and relished every second the beauteous, if waxy-looking, Jude Law (?The Talented Mr. Ripley? and most recently, ?Cold Mountain) was onscreen . I also congratulate the creepily lifelike yet robotic Haley Joel Osment (?The Sixth Sense?) for his fine performance as David, the robot Mecha-boy. Easy to assemble Artificial Christmas Tree

...We bought this artificial 5 foot christmas tree from poplar tree garden centre online last year and have only got round to writing this review now. The tree arrived within two days of making the order and took around 15 minutes to assemble. All of the components were packed well in the box and this artificial tree actually looks better than a real christmas tree. The leaves have a bluey silver tint to them which makes them look as if the tree has frost on them. I think this adds to the christmas feel of the room and makes the tree magically stand out. Everyone that sees this particular christmas tree is certain that it is real. The advantage to us is we dont tell them but we also dont have to hoover up pine needles everytime we turn the heating on. The art of Lure fishing - a simple(ish) technique

Advantages: Easy to set up, all sorts of wierd & wonderful artificial lures to choose from, can last years
Disadvantages: Can be rather expensive, especially if you keep loosing them in the scenery

...Fishing with Artificial lures is one of my favourite fishing methods, mainly because it's so easy to get set-up for a session. By Artificial Lures, in this instance I am referring to the good old MEPPS style spinners + also artificial plugs + "spoons"..... not to be confused with Artificial flies used by Salmon & Trout Anglers, which are basically hooks tarted up with various items to resemble an insect of some description. When Rushed Beat Becomes Rival Turd

Advantages: Decent graphics and music, simultaneous 2 player action
Disadvantages: Dubious collision detection and parameters, animation can be poor

...Not only are the likes of the opening sequence and the difficulty settings of Rushing Beat (the Japanese version of the game) missing in Rival Turf!, but I believe there to be insignificant tweaks to the fighting system as well. There are two playable characters to choose from, though there seems to be this glitch with Oozie Nelson where he is able to power-bomb an enemy successively without extending the damage dealt, but this is a minor issue. A feature of Rival Turf! is the Angry Mode, whereby following much damage taken, the player temporarily becomes invincible and is able to deal out heavy damage. Might as well turn it on as there's really not much scope when it comes to the fighting. There's no priority move - not even the special attack which comes at the cost of the player score. You would do well not to resort to running...

Surf and Turf in the Yorkshire Dales

Advantages: Good accomodation, really good food.

...fish including a life sized replica (at least I think) of a fish that the owner caught when 14 in Florida. Outside of this are another couple of modern nooks and a ?whisky lounge? with leather seating and a fire place presumably lit in winter. Here you can find a selection of newspapers and books including a beer guide amongst others. A nice terrace outside has a number of tables with a bizarre mix of lobster pots and pot cows and sheep - a nice place to sit outside on a sunny day. Truly surf and turf in the Yorkshire Dales. On returning to the room we noticed it smelled a bit "foody" and noticed this again each time we returned. The location of this room did seem to be at the backend of the inn where the kitchens where.
