Wii music

Advantages: Learn about instruments
Disadvantages: Not interesting enough for me

...I love my Nintendo Wii and love playing new and different games on it. I recently played the Wii Music but unfortunately this was one game that I really did not like. Wii music was released in 2008 and allows players to simulate playing with real musical instruments. You use either the Wii remote or the nunchuk to play the instruments. THe disappointment for me was that the instruments were just not realistic enough. For example, I love Wii Sports because I think the tennis, bowling and actually all the games are really realistic and it feels like you are actually there playing the game. With the Wii Instruments it did not feel like you had a real instrument in your hands and also the Mii characters on the screen just did not react well to the movements. It was more of a chore trying to play the instruments and I gave up pretty soon...

BOSE: Music for the soul

Advantages: Great sound quality, perfet at loud volumes, just in general FANTASTIC
Disadvantages: none so far

Arty Des Arts!

Advantages: Original building, nice and clean and decent rooms
Disadvantages: Could have quirkier rooms to match the rest of the hotel.

Inside was a mix of modern touches such as the small lobby lounge with a flat screen pc for guests to use mixed in with the artistic and very Parisian style furniture and the art that hung on nearly every wall. I actually if I'm honest couldn't decide if I liked it or not as I did because it was boutique and intimate and at the same time some of the decor was too 'old fashioned' looking for my taste. However I think if you came to this hotel you wouldn't be disgusted by it and as you don't recoil in horror when you check in to a hotel that that has to be a good thing! The rooms: I would say I expected the rooms to be different after the decor of the hotel in the lobby and I guess it was because they seemed a little boring somehow - the lobby area had nice chairs and lots of art along with flowers...

Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive

...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall...

Nokia 5800 touch screen music phone

...The 5800 XpressMusic is a revolution for Nokia with it being the first touch screen phone produced by the manufacturer. With its slim lined shape it is an easy phone to hold and to use. The stylus being made of plastic makes the phone as light as possible and easy to hold and to use with the screen. When I purchased it for my son at Christmas, I visualised a Christmas with all the family joining in and enjoying the game, somehow that didn't really materialise. Advantages: so many great features and looks great!
Disadvantages: took me a while to work out where the sim card went! but thats probably just down to me, lol

...cool, it shows you where you are and your able to find local services on the maps, like garages and car parks. Really cool! I also like the way you are able to cut together to video clips and add a soundtrack and then you can upload it to the web! The video and pictures are really clear and colour perfect. You can load these to the computer or show them through your tv. The mp3 ringtones are crystal clear in sound, and the headphones you get with the phone are good too. Your also able to plug your phone into the computer and download music to your phone. The menu display is good and its easy to find what you want. Wii Music I have spent weeks trying to get Wii music from Game at a good price, I missed the sale, so the only prices they had left was £34 and there was no way in hell that I was going to buy a game at that price. After a very hectic day, we ended up in a small town whilst my sister was getting her brace fixed, after sitting in the car in a traffic jam for 2 hours to get there (in the heat mind you), we were about ready to pass out in the car, so went for a little walk and found a blockbusters. There sitting in front of me was the game I wanted for £22.98 which was the price I was willing to pay. I came home with the game and for about 10 minutes I had great time learning the controls and playing the different games...

The Art of Death

Advantages: Good second half, some interesting details
Disadvantages: Clunky plot, a bit meandering

...halfway through it was much better. The main character is Adelia - "The Mistress of the Art of Death" - i.e a forensic pathologist. Her struggle to conceal her profession is quite prominent in the plot as female doctors were unusual in the twelfth century. She is helping Simon of Naples discover the killer through the clues left on the bodies of the victims. I found this quite interesting although I'm not sure how realistic it would be in the twelfth century. The plot does wander a bit as it is so concerned with Adelia and her origins and training. The character of Rowley (the King's so-called tax inspector) is ok but the romance seems to have been thrown in as a bit of an afterthought and didn't add anything to the story for me.
