An affordable taste of heaven
Review of ASDA Soft & Creamy Cheese by  snail333

Advantages: Tastes just like philly but much cheaper
Disadvantages: Contains a little more fat than philly 'light'

...-----------------------------------------OVERVIEW-------------------------- ------------- I am always dubious when supermarket own-brand products claim to be 'as good as the leading brand', but this soft cheese from ASDA is definitely worth a try as in my opinion it is does live up to the claim! -----------------------------------------VARIETIES--------------- ------------------------ There are three different, standard ASDA own brand soft cheeses available, and also a selection in the separate 'Good for you' range. The standard options are: ASDA Reduced Fat Soft & Creamy cheese - pineapple 200g ASDA Reduced fat soft cheese 300g ASDA Soft & Creamy cheese - original 200g This review concerns only the ASDA Reduced fat soft cheese 300g. ---------------------------------------PACKAGING... Skin So Soft Creamy Body Wash - Soft & Sensual
Review of Avon Skin So Soft Creamy Body Wash by  Cassybobo

Advantages: Lovely Scent, good for Sensative Skin, Luxurious, good Value
Disadvantages: none

...My daughter is an Avon Rep so I usually buy their products on special offers, saves me money and helps my daughters earning's as she gets paid in commision. Anyway I bought the Avon Skin So Soft range, in the Soft & Sensual on promotion, Buy 5 for £5, a real Bargain me thinks. The Creamy Body Wash comes in a pink bottle 250ml size, the bottle is tapered at the top which is very handy to fit in the shower shelf makes it easier to use when you are wet and slippery! It has a Floral scent, and a lovely creamy lather, feels luxurious and leaves my skin delicately fragranced, refreshed, smooth, soft and moisturised. As I have excema this is excellent, a good product for sensative skin, I have had no problems whatsoever. The list of ingredients is comprehensive, some of them include castor oil, glycerin, butter... Read review

...~~~~~~~~Skin So Soft Creamy Body Wash~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As im an avon rep i try to use as many different products so im ready with a recommendation if a customer asks.So as Skin So Soft products are so popular i thought i would give it a try. ~~~~~~Body wash~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Skin So Soft creamy body wash comes in three different fragrances- Soft and Renewed {purple bottle} Soft and Sensual {pink bottle} Soft and fresh {green bottle} The one im reviewing is Soft and fresh. This one apparently can act as an insect repellent and keep the bugs away dont know if this is true as havent used it for that reason. The bottle itself is green and is rectangular shaped. On the bottle is the SSS {skin so soft} logo and creamy body wash written on it in three languages and in little letters is written soft and fresh. You stand the bottle... Read review

Mine is soft and creamy
Review of Port Salut Creamy Cheese by  SusanLesley

Advantages: Tastes lovely, not too expensive
Disadvantages: None

...An ex boyfriend introduced me to Port Salut back in the 1980’s and it has been a favourite of mine ever since that time. It is made in France from cow’s milk and defined as a semi hard cheese although it is quite soft in texture. Originally made by monks in Brittany, this cheese is now widely available in most good supermarkets and grocers. The cheese is a creamy yellow in colour and is produced in a cylindrical shape with an orange rind. This is then cut into thick disks and then into triangular sections for sale. You’ll find it with all the other cheeses in the chiller cabinet in Tesco’s, Asda or Sainsbury’s to name but three, so you won’t have to queue at the deli counter for this particular delight! I have no idea whether the rind can be eaten and if so what it tastes like, as I have never tried eating it! It is quite thick... Read review

Asda Moisturising Cream Bath
Review of Asda Cream Bath Moisturising Soft Lilac by  leebee81

Advantages: Cheap, does the job
Disadvantages: Average fragrance

..., "Heavenly Blue," is a creamy. opaque light blue in colour. The cream has the consistancy of a thickish liquid, easy to pour but not so runny that it comes gushing out. It smells softly floral, in a bathroom-y sort of way. Not too granny like, just pleasantly floral. I find the scent doesnt really linger on my skin anyway, but it does make the bathroom smell nice. The directions on the bottle say to add to running water, and avoid the eyes. I usually add 2 or 3 capfuls, depending on how many bubbles I like. I find that with the craptastic water pressure from our bath tap, the bubbles (or 'foam' as the back of the bottle describes it) dont really happen too well. I have discovered thouugh, that by turning on the 'power shower' and moving it back and forth over the bath that the bubbles generate a lot better. Even then, foam is probably a better... Asda's Onto A Winner.
Review of Asda Chicken Noodle Cup Soup by  Frannage

Advantages: Tastes Great, Costs Less Than Other Brands.
Disadvantages: None.

...plain white sachets that are each stamped with the contents of the sachet in this case 'ASDA CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP' and what i can presume to be the serial number. The sachets are sealed at the top and to get into them you simply tear off the top part. ~~~~~~~~~ Preparing The Soup.... This is incredibly easy, all you have to do is stick the kettle on, and in the meantime empty the sachets contents into a cup. When the soup is in the cup it resembles a powdery cream colour with little speckles of green and red and the odd noodle here and there. Then just wait for the kettle to boil, pour it in and stir, a child could do it! ~~~~~~~~~ Tasting.... This is my favourite, although i prefer to leave the soup for a minute or two so that the noodles absorb the water and go all soft. The soup itself is not suitable for vegetarians... Read review

ASDA's choccy mousse with cookies
Review of Asda choc & choc cookie dessert by  karen5416

Advantages: tasty, satisfying
Disadvantages: none

...One day a week I am allowing myself the pleasure of a treat as long as I have stuck to my diet the rest of the week, well last week I was really good, and thought the best way to treat myself was to buy something that was new, but it has to look and sound good. For my treat this week I noticed in the dairy cabinet of ASDA beside the yoghurts, they have a whole selection of gorgeous looking desserts, loads to tempt me. The one that tempted me the most was ASDA’s Chocolate & Chocolate Cookie Dessert. Packaging ♣♣♣♣♣♣♣ An oval shaped see through pot, divided into two sections. One holding the chocolate mousse the other full of small chocolate chip cookies. With a label through the centre of the pot. The picture shows a silver spoon holding some of the mousse. The mousse looks creamy... Read review

It 'Asda' be Asda Pasta Bake!!
Review of Asda tuna & sweetcorn pasta bake by  welshfruitbat

Advantages: Cheap, tasty and easy to make
Disadvantages: Can take 45 minutes to cook

...Things tend to get a little bit mad in our house sometimes - what with a little boy full of energy running around, a baby girl who needs feeding, changing etc and a husband who works full time and then gets home and starts on the DIY around the house, so we can look at selling it. Finding the time to cook a family meal from scratch can be a bit of a daunting idea. On one of my recent shopping trips to Asda, I had a look to see if I could find something that would be quick and easy, but without being too unhealthy. I had a look at the pasta sauces section and thought these would be a good idea, but some of the branded ones were a bit expensive. On further inspection, I discovered Asda did their own make in them. Asda had a few different varieties on sale, namely Spicy Tomato and Pepperoni, Three Bean, Creamy Tomato, Tuna... Read review

Asda Ice Cream - IT'S MINT!!!!
Review of Asda Mint Chocolate Chip Soft Serve Ice Cream 2ltr by  pennywa

Advantages: Tastes lovely, very cheap, easy to find in the shops
Disadvantages: It's easy to scoff the lot in one go!

...We all love ice cream in our house. Sometimes we get the more expensive ones like Ben & Jerry's for instance, but we eat it so quickly that mum often has to resort to just buying us the cheaper versions from time to time. Usually we get these from Iceland, but lately she's been getting Asda's own brand 'cheap' version, and we all love it. The latest one we tried this weekend was Asda's Mint Chocolate Chip. It comes in a 2 litre carton and was under 90p - I think that's really cheap, as 2 litres is a lot of ice cream to get through, even for me! Sometimes we put it into cones or dad likes to sandwich his between 2 wafer biscuits. I don't like to do either, I just like to plop mine in a bowl and eat it with a very big spoon! This particular one is really really tasty. The only downside (probably) is that the picture... Read review

Advantages: really does what it says on the bottle
Disadvantages: none

...My cousin used to do the Avon and I would buy my goods from her, I came across the skin so soft body wash and decided to give it a go, when I bought it, it was on offer, so I am not sure off the original price, I had used Avon products in the past and I had always been pleased with the end result and this time was no different. A brief description The body wash comes in a pink 250ml bottle with a flip up lid, it has a nice flowery scent, but not to strong. How to use Use washcloth or sponge and massage over your body, with all these products it`s needless to say avoid contact with eyes, if it does go into your eyes rinse with water. Some ingredients include: Aqua Sodium ParfumButter extract Glycine soja oil Alcohol Benzyl Conclusion I use this body wash as leaves your skin feeling really soft and refreshed... Read review
