...I have used Dell Inspiron 1545 for a couple of months. I'm glad I made right decision. My friend who works in computer filed suggested me this one after asking me my demand for a laptop. First , I would like to say , it can totally meet all requirements I expected from a good laptop. I use it to write articles especially for my blog, to send and receive emails, to talk on MSN and Skype with my family and friends abroad. It never let me down. I also used it to watch TV including the programs on BBC Iplayer. Compared to my desk computer, I can feel the speed on my laptop was faster and the stability of the network was better. Second, it has nice overall design. Slim, Simple and sleek. You have three colors to choose . I chose the black one that matches from outside to inside. Dell Inspiron 1545 - good entry level laptop

Advantages: Cheap, good brand, lots of features,
Disadvantages: Probably not powerful enough for games, bottom of the market now

...The Dell Inspiron 1545 is an easy to use entry level laptop. Unlike two years ago when I bought my previous laptop, you can now get a number of Dell computers (of which this is one) direct from high street retailers. This is good if you want it in a rush and want a nearby place to handle any issues, but has the disadvantage that you can't customise your laptop to your own requirements to the same extent that you can if you buy it direct from Dell (which takes several weeks). Because Dell are so good at allowing customisation, you need to be very careful when you buy that you actually get the one you need - they are not all the same, so you can't just go into a shop and say "Give me your Inspiron 1545" - you need to be sure that it e.g. has a suitable processor, enough memory and a big enough hard drive for your needs. The dell inspiron laptop is it a good buy!

Advantages: The look of the dell inspiron laptop seems more classy then other notepads. It is simplistic.
Disadvantages: Maybe Dell Have gone too simplistic with this model as the features are nothing to rave about

...The Dell inspiron laptop has an attractive classy look, it has a simplistic stream-line look. When I take it out its case I feel good about it because its not a big bulky embarassing computer thing. However, if your one for keeping everything clean and tidy and no smudges anywhere, then maybe you might be irritated by this laptop. With its glossy look smudges, smears and fingerprints stand out like a sore thumb. You feel like your constantly wiping it. You also have to watch what you wipe the laptop with as it is quite easy to scratch. A better idea for Dell would be to provide a cloth to clean it with, one they know wont damage your laptop. It would be a real bummer to scratch it while cleaning it. I also decided to get the colour black because there wasnt a lot of colours to choose from which I found quite dissapointing as...

...Having watched this film on Channel 4 at the weekend (I have the DVD also but just had to watch it) I've decided to review it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Although, I see that a lot of people have already seen it as the UK premier on Channel 4 attracted 1 million viewers!! The Notebook is a beautiful romance that still makes me cry after numerous viewings. It is poignant, romantic, sad, hopeful and uplifting all rolled into one. The Mini ME Laptop

Advantages: Mobile,Light ,Compact and value for money
Disadvantages: The trackpad can be difficult when u try the click and drag operation due to it size

...Despite having two laptops at home, I bought this Mini 10 laptop as I wanted to bring it for my vacation. It is light,mobile and compact as I'm able to put it in my hand luggage during the flight. I don;t even bother to put it in the laptop casing provided. The keyboard just perfect for me as I'm able to chat with my online friends easily and even typing it much faster esp repling tons of emails! The screen can be seen clearly.Due to it light weight, it can be carried with one hand :) The Performance of this Mini is very impressive,not even a lagging compared to some high-speed computer. I hardly hear any fan noises but it can get warm esp at the bottom side....

ASUS EEE PC 701 - Small but perfectly formed

...This review looks at one of many netbooks to be released in the UK over the past few months, ASUS's EEE PC 701 SD. The model I have is fitted with Windows XP and has an 8Gb hard drive. I bought it on special offer for £155. Appearance The 701SD is absolutely tiny. It weighs around a kilogram and is roughly the same size as a hardback reading book when in the closed position. It comes in a neat box along with instructions,a mains charger, a protective case and a system CD. It has a 7 inch screen which is absolutely tiny but is still perfectly functional. The unit has three USB sockets, headphone and microphone jacks, and SD memory card slot, a small webcam above the screen and a microphone positioned just underneath the keyboard. It has a small touchpad which is small but works in exactly yhte same way as a normal sized laptop...

...Well I just love this laptop. It is everything I want in a laptop. It does have a few minor flaws but the pros totally outweigh them. Appearance This laptop is a great looking laptop. Only the size of an A5 notepad, it is small and yet it still manages to look smart yet fun. I chose the baby blue cover for my asus eee but any colour looks just as good. Inside, the layout is neat and tidy with reasonable sized keys for this small laptop. The sides of the laptop look clean in simple as is to be expected with a small laptop like this. Without a CD drive, it allows more room for the 3 USB ports and SD slot allowing the back of the laptop to be left clear bar the power port. Overall, a great looking laptop.
