...Excellent motherboard. This is the first motherboard that I have installed in a computer before, and did ASUS make it easy for me! The manual is very clear, and tells you where everything is. All the connectors matched up with my Akasa Zen Case connectors, which I thought was great, as since then I didn't have the same experience with a Thermaltake case. The silent heatpipe, makes this a very quiet motherboard, whereas most normal motherboards would have a rubbish little fan that gets clogged with dust and ends up making a terrible noise. If you need to have a fan on the chipset heatsink, asus provide a fan that slots on to the top of the heatsink. Aswell as the chipset fan, ASUS provide loads of other stuff. ...6600 model for example defaults at 2.4Ghz but even an overclocking novice with aircooling could quite easily get one of these chips to 3Ghz and the performance increase is quite amazing. However to get it there you need an expensive board as very few of the cheap ones can produce high overclocks. This is where the Asus P5K range come in. They are the high end Asus boards taking over the 975 and 965 chipset boards with the all new P35 chipset. It is arguable that the new chipset doesn't actually offer anything over the 965 chipset in terms of overclocking but what the P35 does give you is the compatibility with new faster processors soon to be released. ...The Canon i965 is a great printer for people after good quality prints, but at an average price. It's a mid-range printer and the quality and price of it are definitely good. By using our digital camera and printing off A4 size photo's, the quality is excellent, especially when using special photo paper. The prints can also be done on actual photo size, which is the size you would normally get your prints done at at a Photo shop. Though you might feel guilty putting the photoshop out of business, you'll be happy enough with the money that you are able to spend thanks to this printer. It is able to print quality photo's and anything else you want printed. The i965 can cope with anything really.
