Advantages: small money for perfect performance Disadvantages: none
...I have used Dell Inspiron 1545 for a couple of months. I'm glad I made right decision. My friend who works in computer filed suggested me this one after asking me my demand for a laptop.
First , I would like to say , it can totally meet all requirements I expected from a good laptop. I use it to write articles especially for my blog, to send and receive emails, to talk on MSN and Skype with my family and friends abroad. It never let me down. I also used it to watch TV including the programs on BBC Iplayer. Compared to my desk computer, I can feel the speed on my laptop was faster and the stability of the network was better.
Second, it has nice overall design. Slim, Simple and sleek. You have three colors to choose . I chose the black one that matches from outside to inside. The keyboard has all the necessary controls that I used...
Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.
...This is really more a review of Dell's warranty than of the laptop itself, but as there was no section for such a thing I thought I'd combine the two.
The laptop: It's a good little machine with pretty good specs for its price. You can already get more for your money than when we bought it just a few months ago, so check the current offers (make sure to look around the Web site, as I found by clicking on various offers I got the same machine for less) You can also now get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when that comes out later this year. It's fast, cute, and does everything
we need. You can get it in a variety of colors, either for free if there is an offer on or for about 30 quid otherwise. Black is free whether an offer is on or not. Also, some have said it's not good for gaming -- that is probably only true if you are a hardcore gamer...
Advantages: Quite Cheap and Supporting Nowadays' Tech. Disadvantages: Not Found, yet
...Do you plan to buy a new personal computer (PC)? Here is another motherboard from Asus ? P5VD2-X. Being an indirect consumer (I am running a PC-Shop), I have built 16 PC using this motherboard since 4 months ago, and none of them returns to me till now. It proves the stability and endurance of this product.
Formerly I recommended Asus P5PE-VM which comes with onboard graphic-card and lower price. Both P5PE-VM and P5VD2-X support Intel Core 2 Duo processors, but if you are interested in having a ?better? motherboard with a reasonable price rate, I would recommend you to buy P5VD2-X.
Why P5VD2-X?
First of all, I know most people always remember ?Intel Inside?, and ?Powered by Asus?. These two slogans are quite effective and make people, usually people who come into my shop asking for the two brands, Intel and Asus as if they knew...
Advantages: Cheap, good brand, lots of features, Disadvantages: Probably not powerful enough for games, bottom of the market now
...The Dell Inspiron 1545 is an easy to use entry level laptop. Unlike two years ago when I bought my previous laptop, you can now get a number of Dell computers (of which this is one) direct from high street retailers. This is good if you want it in a rush and want a nearby place to handle any issues, but has the disadvantage that you can't customise your laptop to your own requirements to the same extent that you can if you buy it direct from Dell (which takes several weeks).
Because Dell are so good at allowing customisation, you need to be very careful when you buy that you actually get the one you need - they are not all the same, so you can't just go into a shop and say "Give me your Inspiron 1545" - you need to be sure that it e.g. has a suitable processor, enough memory and a big enough hard drive for your needs. At the time...
Advantages: The look of the dell inspiron laptop seems more classy then other notepads. It is simplistic. Disadvantages: Maybe Dell Have gone too simplistic with this model as the features are nothing to rave about
...The Dell inspiron laptop has an attractive classy look, it has a simplistic stream-line look. When I take it out its case I feel good about it because its not a big bulky embarassing computer thing. However, if your one for keeping everything clean and tidy and no smudges anywhere, then maybe you might be irritated by this laptop. With its glossy look smudges, smears and fingerprints stand out like a sore thumb. You feel like your constantly wiping it. You also have to watch what you wipe the laptop with as it is quite easy to scratch. A better idea for Dell would be to provide a cloth to clean it with, one they know wont damage your laptop. It would be a real bummer to scratch it while cleaning it. I also decided to get the colour black because there wasnt a lot of colours to choose from which I found quite dissapointing as...
Advantages: cost effective board from a respected manufacturer Disadvantages: only supports 2GB RAM and very limited overclocking abilities thanks to the 915 chipset.
...After the capacitors started to bulge on my 6 year old Abit TH7-II RAID board (see other review), I found myself needing a replacement Pentium 4 motherboard quickly. I didn't have much money to spend, fortunately one of my mates who was upgrading to a Core2 donated me his old P5GPLX-SE.
This board uses the Intel Grantsdale 915PL / ICH6 chipset and supports the Intel Pentium 4 or Celeron D processor in socket LGA 775 format. Front Side Bus (FSB) speeds are either 533 or 800, depending on the CPU used. The board has 3 normal PCI slots, one PCI-E x1 slot and 1PCI-e x16 slot. 2 RAM slots are available and the board supports DDR 333 or 400 memory with a maximum capacity of 2GB. That means 2x 1GB DDR400 dimms in each of the two slots max this board out. The board does support dual channel, so filling both slots with the same RAM can give...
Advantages: Very realistic gameplay, superb performance Disadvantages: Little fan noise, slightly more power consumptive

This one is an adoptation from Aegia's PPU. A PCI Express card which...
Advantages: Great value, State of the art Processor, Built-in Webcam Disadvantages: Heats up fast, weighs 4Kg
...I recently bought one of these Asuslaptops of the A7C Series and for a manufacturer who I had never heard of before I was pleasantly surprised.
With 2GB RAM, 200GB HDD and Intel Core 2 Duo Processor the laptop runs very quickly and you are very unlikely to ever run out of space! The 17" display is ideal for watching DVDs or just for those who like to have a lot on their screens and is very clear and bright compared to others I looked at. The only cost of having a large 17" screen is that there is increased weight, - this laptop weighs in at 4Kg, which isn't bad as some 17" Laptops are upto about 4.5Kg.
The laptop comes equipped with a built-in 1.3MP webcam located above the screen which provides a clear image for 1.3MP and is very useful for IM!!!
Considering that Windows Vista has only been out a few months, the laptop is...

Review of ASUS A7S 7S015C
Advantages: Beautiful film , romantic Disadvantages: none!

James Marsden also makes an appearance in the movie. The film was released on June 25th 2004. Running time of the movie is 123 minutes.I bought this movie for £5 from Woolworths. The Notebook , comes under the drama and romance genre. This film received eleven awards. This film is a 15 certificate.
* Plot *
The movie involves a man(Noah) reading a book to his wife (Allie) in present day looking back on what happened in their lives when they were younger. This is to try and help Allie remember their love story as she now has alzheimer's.
In the 1940's Allie , the seventeen year old daughter of a millionnaire is at a fair with her friends when she catches...
Advantages: Moving, beautiful love story Disadvantages: Makes me cry!!
...Having watched this film on Channel 4 at the weekend (I have the DVD also but just had to watch it) I've decided to review it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Although, I see that a lot of people have already seen it as the UK premier on Channel 4 attracted 1 million viewers!!
The Notebook is a beautiful romance that still makes me cry after numerous viewings. It is poignant, romantic, sad, hopeful and uplifting all rolled into one.
The Notebook was actually developed from a book written by the American author Nicholas Sparks in 1996. It spent over a year as a hardcover best seller.
The film version was released in 2004. It follows the story of Noah and Allie, childhood sweethearts who eventually find each other again after years apart. The story is very cleverly told as a flashback. It begins in a modern day nursing home...
