KYLIEFEVER 2002

Advantages: features the best person in the world, kylie

...As all of you who read my op on the great KM herself know, this is my favourite person. And that I went to see her in concert, on the 8th May 2002, on her KYLIEFEVER tour. Well, let me tell you, this was the best concert that I have ever seen or been to. It really blew my mind, the athmosphere from her many many many adoring fans and the amazing special effects added to it but the real reason I enjoyed it so much is because Kylie was there, of course. As it was so good, I couldnt wait for the DVD to be released. I already had the Live In Sydney DVD, and so badly wanted the Fever one, too. So much so, I pre-ordered it on the internet. It did not turn up for ages, so I rang my local HMV store to see if it was in stock and hurried on down....... (I am now the proud owner of two copies of this DVD...) ---HOW MUCH WAS THE DVD...

Unforgiven 2002 - A glorified episode of WWE Raw?

Advantages: Good solid PPV, nothing too bad.
Disadvantages: No outstanding super duper matches.

...WWE Unforgiven 2002 Unforgiven. Who deserves no forgiveness; Saddam Hussein, Bin Laden, Ian Huntley ? probably. But does Brock Lesnar deserve forgiveness? Probably not either, as he looks genuinely nasty. So the event is built up, but does it deliver or it is just another filler PPV? This event happened in September 2002, and was released by Silvervision in early 2003, so it has been around for a good while now. It is certificate 15 because of the blood loss during The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar match, and the general violence throughout the DVD. The DVD runs for 176 minutes in total that includes the 3 hours of PPV action and the extras. You?re treated to Michael Cole and Tazz commentating on the Smackdown matches and Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler commentating on the Raw matches. Both of these combos are ok, nothing special. However...

...As a kid I loved playing F1 on my Playstation - it was a game that would have me sitting up into the wee small hours - had great graphics and gameplay that outstripped anything I had ever played before and when I stumbled across F1 2002 on Ebay for £12.99 I immediately decided to bring back those happy memories and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest by my purchase - it may be old - but this game has a timeless quality thanks to the graphics - sound effects and ultimately gameplay. There are several game modes as you would expect from an officially endorsed game of this nature - quick race - single player - grand prix mode - custom championship - team mate challenge - full championship - time challenge. The quick race mode is pretty boring in all honesty as there are only 3 tracks available to race on but it is good...

Swan SC2002

Advantages: Light; powerful; easy to carry; works well on all surfaces
Disadvantages: Pipe and brush head a bit flimsy

...I wish I could find another one of these. I bought one about 5 years ago and it is the most powerful and handy little cleaner I have ever had. (And I\'ve had quite a few in my search, I can tell you.) The only thing I didn\'t find comfortable was the pipe and brush head, which I quite easily exchanged with my old hoover. My helper has just cleaned our neighbour\'s house with this little Swan and she has a white cat, red carpet, a loft extention and lots of stairs. When she came home she said she\'s never seen it looking so good and her precious Dyson is on its way out and she is on the search for a Swan Sc2002. OK it\'s not built to clean mansions, but it is most excellent for stairs. It is light, powerful and easy to use. Another advantage is that you can get disposable bags or stick with the two washable ones which come with it...

Paiste 2002 18" Crash

Advantages: Durable, sounds great, works well with most sounds
Disadvantages: can be seen to beexpensive

...The Paiste 2002 cymbal range is for me the best that Paiste have to offer. i own an 18" crash, which is beautiful, the sound is bright and explosive with a warm shimmer that carries well. Very dynamic and full-bodied, with immediate response. A good all-purpose crash. the cymbal does not tarnish as quick as other cymbals i have encountered. and is very strong, showing no dents or scratches. i have used Sabien and Paiste cymbal cleaners on it and they both get it looking as good as new, at first i was afraid to use cymbal cleaner, but it has not damaging effect whatsoever on this cymbal. this cymbal sounds good with most brands, i have Zildjien and Sabien along side and all work great together. A great buy for the price, which wont let you down....

Cricket 2002 raises the bar - finally

Advantages: Great graphics, no big technical bugs involved.
Disadvantages: Takes very long between balls, bowling can get boring.

...make your own player is by changing a current players name, but you can't change the players looks, skill, bowling style. If Mark Waugh were to be dropped for Darren Lehmann now, you would have to have Lehmann a stroke player, an opener in the one dayers, and a slips fieldsman. Note that they still have the Waughs in the one dayers. The range of players isn't all that great, and maybe EA Sports could think about a way of updating that, like they had with FIFA 2002. In the end, you would find that this game can get a bit hard, or a bit easy, depending on who you are playing. A lot of the time you wouldn't know whether you are going to win or lose in your game, but that's what cricket is all about....
