The LG Cookie KP500 is a good quality, touchscreen mobile

Advantages: Very good value for money, good build quality, good touchscreen, decent (3mp) camera
Disadvantages: Battery life (and meter) is not very good, camera does not have flash, limited games and apps

...I have had this mobile for about 7 months so far. It has been (one of the) best mobiles I have bought. It was very good value for money and the build quality is very good (although for some reason the pink version is more 'plasticky' than the black one). The features on the mobile are what you would expect on a mobile in the price range of the KP500; not too bad but could do with more applications and games. I have however had to send it back once for repair because of a software problem; whenever I went to the music player the mobile froze. This was solved by a firmware update. The 3 inch (not too big, not too small) touchscreen is also very good for what it cost; it is responsive but not as good as the iPhone. Another problem is the battery life. Vango Venture 500

Advantages: Good Size, Brilliant Value, High Quality, Sturdy, Easy to Erect

...I purchased my Vango Venture 500 towards the end of 2006. For the bargain price of £85.00 and I haven't looked back since! Numourus camping trips have bee happily spent in this tent and it will see many more! The frame consists of 2 large poles crossing over to make the main dome, and a 3rd smaller pole creating a loop for the porch area. Once erect, with all pegs and guide ropes in place the tent is extremely strong and stable. We have camped in strong winds and strong rain and it has stood strong throughout. As long as there are two of you, erecting the tent is a swift and easy process. Funnily enough you tend to erect it faster when its raining! And packing it back into the bag is an art the first time but you tend to remember how to do it from then onwards and it's easy enough. When packaged, the tent is relatively heavy...

Advantages: Nice handset, especially in Vader black, loaded with everything currently available
Disadvantages: A little too big(?), incompatiable with BMW bluetooth car kit, charging cap / cover

...music etc will eat away the battery life, but if used sensibly you could achieve a standby time of over a week and actual useful talktime of several hours. Charging time - takes next to no time for a full charge. Build quality of the phone is excellent, nice smooth sliding mechanism, solid build, only problem I had with the phone was the plastic cap for the charging plug, it has a nice sliding cap for the "add on" speaker why not for the charging point on the base of the phone - *doh*. Just a word of note, the phone is a pain with the OEM BMW bluetooth car kit, it refuses to transfer the phone book and fails to "ring" - an issue I think is more with the BMW car kit then the phone. Unfortunately this was the primary reason I needed the phone, as a result my lucky sister has inherited my sim free D500, with me landing a old (yet BMW...

...The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting. From the moment I first sat on it we just connected somehow and so the relationship began. The bike was a unfaired 2000 W plate and had been used as a race bike and had then been put back onto the road only to be involved in a front end crash which resulted in the following damage. Twisted yokes, bent forks, broken clocks, dented tank, scuffed plastics, broken mirors, broken indicators and a smashed headlight. Now being such a popular and reliable bike cheap parts were in abundance, the only hard part to come by was the instrument cluster. All in all, the D500 is a good phone, that boasts a lot of features all of which are squished into a small and compact device. The build quality has proved to be excellent, and I have received no problems from using it what so ever. The battery life is long enough that you can make numerous, lengthy phones calls and leave it on for long periods of time and not have to keep recharging it every other day. The signal quality is always well above average (although this obviously would depend on location and network), and the features allows the phone to become more than just a phone (mp3 player, organiser, alarm clock, calculator etc etc). I don't know if I would actually get another D500 if I were to loose...
