Kills an hour & a half or so

Bland, poorly acted, not enough Tim Roth, contrived, lacks depth

...and what is going on inside of her bereaved mind. One of the main problems for Kathy is it appears her dead husband is trying to communicate with her in that she will notice little ?signs? popping up here and there?..for example, he (Jeremy) had a fixation with the number eight, and suddenly she sees eights in everything. Is this all in Kathy?s imagination or is Jeremy maybe trying to tell her...

Suspense, Acting, Direction, Visuals - Terrific entertainment.

...realises through the 'Signs' that something is at work, something is going to happen, something is coming !! The thing that this film does particulary well is that it homes in on this family and this family alone thus creating a great relationship between audience and characters. Graham is a man suffering at the recent loss of his wife, killed in a road accident, we see his grief, we see his doubts...

Excellent Suspense, Nicely Filmed, Good Acting

Stupid aliens and an awful ending

...'Signs' is the latest film from director M. Night Shayamalan of 'Sixth Sense' and 'Unbreakable' fame. I must say that I thought 'Sixth Sense' was excellent but was a bit unsure about 'Unbreakable'. In my opinion 'Signs' shows Shayamalan definitely has talent but just cannot repeat the 'Sixth Sense' success.
