Trè, Will, L-Rock, Danger came together in a local talent search in Atlanta, Georgia, the name of this contest is the reason for the choice in the title for the album, and their name comes from the city where they are all based. Despite the contest spanning only as far as this one city in the south of the US, their sound mangaged to reach out to the UK and even get the a top 25 single. ...'t the case, and it's not what the track is about; it's how they are perceived to be very alterantive in the ATL(anta), as Hip Hop of this time would never had made it big. The spacey sound effects are utilised to contiune the theme of them being outsider, hence their name OutKast. **Three Stars** 14. 13th Floor This one begins with a speech by Big Rube, who comments on the actions of African Americans who are holding back their race by performing ignorant actions, and preventing them from advancing to the "Presidential Level" which was aspired to get to; which we currently appear to be at the dawn of. Once this is over, we get into a proper track. ..., and although it could be regarded as unengaging, the calm start warms you up and progresses as towards the later end he raps a little too. **Four Stars* 2. ?Successful? With this, he drops into one of the artist?s big singles as he is seen to work with two names who are known to associate heavy with him as he gets ATL?s bad boy R&B singer Trey Songz joining him, as they do things on some cold synth and deep snares to pull out the energy within it as he talks of his game plan. ...When my husband, a teacher, became a member of the ATL, the teaching union, we received all the joining documentation, amongst it was information regarding companies that offer preferential rates to members of the ATL. When our car and household insurance became due we decided to give them a try and we contacted CGU, now merged with Norwich Union to create the CGNU. We were amazed at the saving offered, purely for being a member of ATL we save £45.00 per year on our car insurance which is extra to the already reasonable price being quoted. This means that for us both to drive our car, a 740 Volvo our yearly premium for comprehensive cover is £179.55. We have now had the policy for 3 years and have only seen a very slight increase. Each year we compare prices at renewal time and so far no one has been able to come any where near...
