Georgia, an unforgettable love story!

Advantages: Addictive reading.
Disadvantages: A little difficult to read in places.

...This is my first "adult", book review, so please be gently with your comments!! The book I will try to review is Georgia by Lesley Pearse, the story begins like so - It's February 1954 and the story begins in a south London orphanage run by nun's. Georgia is the feisty nine year old at the centre of this story, due to era and the fact that she is half caste, Georgia was apparently abandoned as a baby and like so many other orphans has no sense of identity. Atlanta: Metroplitan city of the South

Another Small Shopping Mall

Advantages: Undercover, Central and a lot of shops
Disadvantages: Not much

...Monument Mall is quite pleasant and has a reasonable range of shops for its size. It's directly linked to the Monument Metro station , which has a Bank of Scotland and Barclays cash machine. It also connects directly to Fenwicks department store. The basement is taken up by TK Maxx, Cafe 1860 and a Toni & Guys hairdresser. The mall boasts a three story Virgin, a two storey Newcastle United shop and a two story Evans. Also on the ground floor are a Boots, Body Shop , Gadget Shop , Card Shop and Phone shop. The first floor has a First Sports and the top floor has various restaurants including , Pizza , Fish and Chips , Chinese, Baked potatoes and sandwiches. Its a pleasant enough place to shop and is located in the centre of Newcastle. From here you can spend a smal fortune on none essential goods, and get something to eat....

...Mumz Mall has a great variety of products for sale. Each shop is unique and run by a work at home mum. You can find handmade clothing, bath and body products, jewellery, baby bits and bobs. There are slings, glassware, gifts and lots more. With new shops opening up all the time. You can spend many an hour browsing! All my purchases have been great quality. The shop owners seem to care about your satisfaction as well as earning a living. That means alot to me and that is what makes me go back and shop over and over. Supporting a small business always feels good! Overall a great experience. I would recommend Mumz Mall to anyone that likes handmade or unique items. Once you start shopping there you will see what I mean....

Drakes Circus - a really nice place to shop and visit

Advantages: Very central with a large selection of shops many which were reasonably priced.
Disadvantages: Few, except perhaps the need to spend out of car parking

...I spent a morning there early April 09. I had read some inaccurate and unhelpful comments here and therefore was very surprised just how clean and refreshing the place was. There was quite a good selection of shops some of which were of interest to men, such as the large electrical store. I find, as a man, that most malls have little of interest to me. We stopped for breakfast at the large cafe on the first floor. That was very well laid out, clean and very reasonably priced. On my one and only visit whilst on holiday I found nothing unpleasant about the place. It was obviously very new, bright and I found it very airy, contrary to an earlier comment that I read.
