A8 Audi
Advantages: Looks Stylish
Disadvantages: Low drag in corners
...Audi?s aluminum A8 is a handsome beast. There?s nothing retro or classic about it ? the rounded shape is bang up to date. Despite its soft styling it still looks strong, as a big car should without being overly aggressive. The rear end is square, but the kicked-up flanks look perfect.
Despite being quite light, the 2.8-litre version is certainly no hot rod, with just 174bhp and 185lb ft of torque on offer. The 3.7-litre versions obviously improve substantially on these figures, but add seven and a half grand to the asking price at the same time. The 2.8-litre takes 11 lazy seconds to reach 60mph and the in-gear times are sluggish, too. In the engine?s defence it feels smooth and strong, if not quick-revving. The automatic gearbox is partly to blame. It has no ?sport? mode, and while it swaps ratios smoothly, it often refuses to kick...

Audi A3 1.8 T Quattro
Advantages: Great build quality, lots of toys, pretty nippy and a name you can trust.
Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, fault on stereo and uncomfortable on really long journeys.
...with different road types (from motorway to twisty B roads) the average I got was around 25.8 mpg so it can become a little expensive!
Also you need to watch out for a fault with the music system. When the car is cold the volume control does not work properly and is either extremely quiet or REALLY loud! This is a fault on all the systems but it does stop within about 20 minutes of driving the car.
Overall, I would have to say the audi is a good car that I would definately reccomend to buy as long as your not doing long commutes in it! Very fun to drive and a beautiful cabin to sit in combined with the 4 wheel drive system and brilliant build quality you really can't go far wrong with this car....

TT Coupe Quattro 225 friend or foe??
Advantages: Fast, fun, solid build, reliable engine, and very safe
Disadvantages: Not very pratical, more of a posers car then a serious sports car
...and long trawl on the train I finally set off from the dealership (Chesham Left Hand Drive Centre) and quickly found that the fuel needle hadn't even moved so had to find a petrol station. In the meantime I had to get used to driving in a TT and a LHD TT at that. Being low down I felt very encased and felt the Audi quality straight away, there was a few niggles which I put behind me until I got back to Birmingham. Luckily half a mile from the centre and also on the way to the motorway I found a Texaco and after finally finding the petrol cap button filled up the car which cost me £60 to my shock, which I then realised was because the Quattro models have a 62 litre tank!! That was bigger then our Freelander tank.
The nitty gritty
It didn't take me long to get used to driving LHD and soon came to realise the potential power. I drive...

Audi S2 Quattro
Advantages: Performance, Handling, Grip and the fact that not many know! shhh
Disadvantages: Fuel economy if your used to a small engined car.
...i supose. Mpg is low but i extract every ounce of performance i can form it at most times! long run on motorway can bring you nearly 30mpg! (not quite but nearly)
Audi main dealers dont really know much about them, (just the odd old timer) 'Didnt know that they did the A2 in an S version' or 'You mean A2 S Line dont you' etc. . . . . .

2001 Audi TT Roadster -- Total Tease
Advantages: great looks; handling
Disadvantages: certain idiotic interior decisions mark this otherwise perfect vehicle
...the convertible though ? the roadster TT is a gorgeous car, a tremendous artwork in auto design. With its outward fender-wells, the vehicle punctuates its only aggressive characteristic. The rest of the design is a mix of sleek curves and a noticeable lack of sharp edges. Even the round metallic tubes behind the 2 seats administer a sense of completion.
Beetle comparisons are hardly misplaced, due to the fact that TT is built on the same platform as its VW cousin. But these similarities are only tolerable up to a certain point, thanks to the much improved suspension and handling on the TT. There are 2 engine options available on this car ? although they are all DOHC 1.8l four bangers, Audi has managed to squeeze 225HP out of the more potent version. Least expensive TT can only punch 180HP, which I think is kind of low for a car costing somewhere in...

Audi ? not for me!!
Advantages: looks good, smooth drive
Disadvantages: cant see properly, faddy, posing car, drinks fuel
...Having recently been in a position of getting an Audi TT Quattro in black for a knock down price, and only being the second owner, it was an impulse buy.
At first everything was good, it had a CD changer, heated seats, computer telling you everything, and the looks you got when driving were fun. The novelty really REALLY wears off fast however.
After about a week of driving, having such a noticeable car started to become a problem rather than being a bit of fun. It might just be me but I was constantly checking it to make sure it was safe from people. Even in car parks, where there were much nicer cars, I would be paranoid because it would stick out so much.
The window was certainly interesting. Designed more for what it looks like than function, you really had to sit well in order to get a proper view of the road, and if...

Graco Quattro Deluxe Review
Advantages: complete pram package
Disadvantages: heavy, bulky
...The dreaded choice of which pram to buy and which one is best was mind boggling with all that is available today, after much thought I decided to buy the Graco Quattro because of the different functions suitable for different age ranges and the addition of the carry cot, as I walk alot I thought this would be more comfortable for my baby.
The things I like about this pram are its suitability from birth, it seems to be very comfy for the baby, the main pram as head support , the large shopping basket, the pram bar has space for a bottle/beaker good for when baby is older so its easy for them to help themselves, the extra storage by the handle, brill for mobile, keys, dummies etc, nice colours available, true lie flat pram, 4 seat positions, large hood, handy for the sunny weather, it looks good.
My dislikes are its heavy, quite...

A close shave with Quattro
Advantages: close shave, comfortable non-slip handle
Disadvantages: none
...OK, the first thing I would like to do is clarify just what I am reviewing, as there is a Wilkinson Sword Quattro for women razor which you have to buy blades for, and then there are the Quattro for Women disposables, and those are the ones that I will be writing about.
When it comes to razors, my absolute favourite is the Gilette Venus Vibrance, but it's quite expensive as are the replacement blades, and so a couple of months ago I started buying these to use as an 'everyday' razor, and save the Venus Vibrance for when I'm showing my legs off and want them to be incredibly smooth - not very often in this freezing cold weather!
The razors come in a pack of four and the pack is really easy to open - just remove the cardboard at the back. I mention this because often when they come in those plastic packs you have to cut open...

Derby Audi
Advantages: Good reliable performance cars that look smart
Disadvantages: Terrible after sales service
...To put my opinion in context, a little background is needed.
I bought a used P Reg Audi A4 as I drive alot for business reasons. I wanted something reliable, comfortable and easy to drive with a bit of 'Umpff' as well. Buying from a dealership gave me peace of mind about the condition of the car and meant I received 12 months warranty.
I'm not sure whether the problems I have experienced are due to the fact that I am a youngish female buying a car privately. It might have been a different story if I was buying a fleet of cars on behalf of a company or it was my company car. Maybe someone will write an opinion on this.....
Anyway back to my experience of Derby Audi dealership:
The sales staff were helpful and the test drive convinced me that this car would live up to my expectations. It has been excellent with just a few...

What's All The Fuss About?
Advantages: Fast, Eye-Catching, Appeals to Many
Disadvantages: Understeer, Dark Interior
...of its looks or its interior, but with all the fuss about this car surely to drive it must be sublime?
The TT is based on the same chassis as the Audi A3, which also shares the same floorpan as the Golf. It's not uncommon for manufacturers to share platforms across models and with the Audi VW group also owning Seat and Skoda, derivatives of their cars also share the same chassis.
In the UK, two models were initially available to us, the 180bhp and 225bhp variations, and Audi's famed four-wheel-drive system was given as standard; in European countries the lesser-powered variant was also offered with front-wheel-drive only and after I spent some time behind the wheel of the 225bhp version I couldn't help but feel as if I was driving a hooky import variation.
Audi are revered in the automotive industry for their Quattro system, a four...
