...hmm. this phone is a very good buy for someone, like myself who has the ability to operate a full touch screen. it has most of the up to date gadgets, eg music player, bluetooth, triband. the phone has two cameras which makes for video calling to any other phone that has that capability. he only problem, so far that i have found with the phone, having had it for about 2 months, is the texting capability, its hard to send a text with sufficient speed due to the touchscreen, i do recommend this phone though. the camera on this devise is very capable, its a 5mp with autofocus, this has proved great for me, taking picture on the move, it prevents my pictures from becoming blurry. (bear with me, this is my first review)...

LG Viewty KU99O mobile phone

Advantages: Lots of media to choose from and easy to navigate around
Disadvantages: Can sometimes be slow and therefore freze on continous use on same button

...I first saw this phone when it came out a few years ago and it had a price tag of around £300, but when I noticed it the other day in Tesco for just over £100 I snapped it up! I have now had this phone for just less than a year now, it has many features and has easy access to all these features through the 'touch screen navigating'! I'll start with the 5 mega pixel camera, personally I think it takes clear photos, with its 'autofocus' technology, I think that it is one of the best cameras I have ever seen on a phone, but in poor light conditions the photos can become easily blurred and extremey dark, there is also on-screen editing, which can be REAL FUN! Advantages: Huge zoom, Focus Tracking, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Bulky, A little slow, AA batteries are a bit inconvenient

...useful addition to this model - in my opinion - is the Autofocus Tracking system, which allows the user to focus on a moving object and then the camera will keep it in focus as it moves around (providing it stays within the boundaries of the LCD display) In summary, it is a seemingly natural progression from the S1000fd and, if you don't think you need the new Image Stabilization, Automatic Scene Selection or Focus Tracking features, then the S1000fd is still an option. The S1500 is an excellent camera for learning the basics of photography because you can start of with everything automated and then gradually take control of different aspects yourself as your confidnce grows. Of course, you could do that with an entry-level SLR, but not for this price. It is also nice to have a camera that produces quality pictures but is small...

My experience of the Nikon D90 as an amateur photographer.

Advantages: Excellent picture quality, lots of useful features, well designed controls, great kit lens
Disadvantages: More expensive than some other DSLRs, quite big and heavy, limited movie mode

...as a viewfinder like in a digital camera, potentially allowing you to take pictures at interesting angles. However the auto-focus is much slower in live view, and the pentaprism viewfinder (as opposed to pentamirror in most DSLRs) is so good that is end up getting down in the mud anyway! Movies The D90 also shoot HD movies, which is a feature I have used a lot. In my opinion, the quality is not that great unless you use a tripod, and you have to use manual focusing to refocus mid shot, with kind of ruins that bit of film with by wobbling the shot and introducing a loud sound as you turn the focus ring. It may be no substitute for a video camera, but the movie mode is a great way to record memories as you would with a normal digital camera. Incredible battery life is another thing I've discovered.
