...If you are currently running your XBOX 360 through a TV using the supplied RGB Cables then you are missing out on the power of the 360. When I first bought mine in December 2005 I was using the supplied RGB Cables , this was o.k I was happy with the result , But I wanted desperately to try the HD modes . I had visions of spending £600+ On a New Fangled HDTV from the local Argos Until I read that Literally any old PC monitor would run the XBOX 360 in HDTV mode with these cables !!! I spent my hard earned cash on a set & hooked them up to my Relisys LCD TV ( P.C Monitor & TV all in one) Using the VGA Input . I went to the settings for the 360 & changed to it to 1360 x 768 . The Difference was unbelievable !! , trust me you WILL NOT want to plug those old RGB cables in after this . Everything is much clearer , Crisper & better...

...If you dont have an HDTV this cable is a must have buy this cable the difference it makes is absolutly huge. The picture is much sharper and text in games is clearer, the colours more vibrant. This cable makes the console have much more of a Next gen feel and it is singly one of the best accesories you could buy for your 360 is you are playing your 360 on an SDTV. Well I know it would be a lot better to pay just £17.99 than £400-£1000 for an HDTV especially after just paying £279.99/£199.99 for your console respectivly. So this cable is a must have if you do not own an HDTV you will see the difference. Sharper, More vibrant colours! Advantages: Improves the graphical quality of games, Cheaper than the official cable.

Wii component cable- Well worth the money

Advantages: sharper/brighter picture, opens up more ports on TV, saves hassle.

...The Nintendo Wii component video cable really is a sound investment if you are the owner of an HD/ LCD TV, and obviously a nintendo Wii. Before i bought it, i had trouble with the picture quality and contrast on many of the games. Games such as Wii Sports were fine, but more of the action/adventure games such as Zelda or Splinter Cell give a very dark picture which can sometimes be hard to make out what was happening. The only way i could combat this problem was to adjust the contrast on my television which did help, but was alot of hassle. With the component cable, the picture is not only much brighter, but much sharper and defined.
