Unblock the sink without the need for a plunger

...I used this product a short while ago after I noticed that my kitchen sink had become blocked, and the water was not draining away, just sitting in the sink - minging. Now, looking on the shelves I noticed how ridiculously over priced these types of products were, and there is always the risk that the won't work anyway. This product cost around £3 and was one of the cheapest available. The bottle recommended that the whole lot is used in the application. Bearing in mind the price (and how useful it may be to have some of the product available in the house for such cases in the future) I applied approximately half the bottle. It states not to apply in standing water, so it was a bit of a job to remove as much water from the sink as possible (always useful to have an old mug!). Sink and Plughole Blocker!

...So this is going to be the first bad review! Sorry! I think people should think twice before using this product BLOCKAGE! My kitchen sink was taking longer to drain each time I used it, until it was eventually taking about 30 minutes to drain completely. My washing machine is plugged into the same drainage pipe and whenever I ran my washing machine the kitchen sink was filling up! COST I saw this on offer in my supermarket (Somerfield). I still thought it was shockingly expensive: it was £3.99 for 500ml but the bottle had 100% extra free, so it was £3.99 for 1L. The high cost made me think it must really work! The directions on the bottle said that you need to use the whole bottle (500ml), which makes it very expensive. DIRECTIONS It says to slowly pour the entire contents into the plug/sink - it is a thick gell...

I have a sinking feeling.

Advantages: Moisturising, doesn't dry out and crack.
Disadvantages: Where do I start? Stung, save your money and use your night cream!

...I got this product in a gift set, only a small sample size but that was enough for me. This is one of the few Body Shop products that I really don't like, bet you weren't expecting that were you! This is a facemask but unlike most that need washing off or peeling off this one doesn't. You can wipe off the excess with a tissue if you want but the rest is just left to sink in, as the name would suggest. The Body Shops Vitamin E range is for all skin types so is meant to suit everyone, but don't get too excited! I have combination skin and this was too heavy for my T zone so anyone with oily skin should probably steer clear! Also anyone with sensitive skin should also not even consider trying this, my skin can be temperamental occasionally and this stung when I used it so would be very likely to cause a reaction for people...

...Having got sick of wading up to my shins in soapy water everytime I had a shower, I decided it was definately time I found something to unblock the plughole in the bath. In fact, it wasn't just the bath that was blocked but also the bathroom sink as they both share the same outlet pipe. If I ran water into the bathroom sink at high speed it would cause a backflow up into the bath, so there was definately a serious blockage. I'm guessing the problem was due to a build up of hair seeing as there are quite a few long-haired females in our house. Anyway, I 'googled' to find what might be the best product to use. I had seen the advert for Mr Muscle on TV and wondered if it really was as simple and effective as it looked. ...Okay, so a little less tasty than my last review ''Ben & Jerry's Ice cream'', but heres a product I really think is worth reviewing as has really made the lives of everyone in our family alot better and is much cheaper than calling out a plumber. The product in question is of course, Mr Muscle (... yes the guy who loves the jobs you hate, apparently...!?) Sink and Plug Hole unblocker. It's a clear liquid thats very thick, very powerful and claims to unblock drains in 15 minutes, note; this is only for mild blockages, it details on the label longer times for heavier blocked drains, and also depends on what is causing your blockage. COST: £3.29 PLACE OF PURCHASE: Sainsburys VOLUME: 500ml CAUTION: Corrosive liquid Smell: Very strong, and alot like bleach. Not that I purposefully took a wiff its just you can detect the smell...

...The eagerly anticipated Nokia alternative to the iphone. It really had a lot to live up to if it was going to even match the competition; so its unbelievable to imagine the possibility that its actually better! . . .but miracles do happen it would seem. The phones stats and features could fill the whole page and you can get them from any good mobile phone website anyway so I won't waste your time listing them here. In simple terms the 5800 does everything; its a phone, a laptop, a television, a digital camera & camcorder and its even a GPS system! . . .however no kitchen sink sadly. ...After getting a blockage in our kitchen sink, and it becoming very annoying when washing up, as it would take hours for the water to drain away we decided that we needed to buy some form of sink unblocker. Our nearest supermarket is Somerfield so on a trip to there I bought a bottle of Mr Muscle Sink and Plughole Unblocker for £3.49 for 500ml. We followed the instructions on the bottle which were to use the whole bottle and leave it for 15 minutes before flushing it with hot water, or it advises for tougher bloackages to leave overnight. The liquid had a strong bleach like smell to it, but that was expectant being a cleaning product, and it was yellowish in colour. Franke stainkess steel sink scratched badly within 1 day

Advantages: Looked nice before it was used
Disadvantages: Terrible for scratching and rusting

...I had a Franke stainless steel sink installed in my new kitchen. With the first use it scratched. I had only washed cups and a teaspoon, put them on the drainer and when I had finished drying up I saw that the drainer was all scratched. The Franke label was still in place, that's how new it was. On inspecting the sink the next morning that was also badly scratched and had rust specs in the bottom. Some of the scratches were quite deep considering I had only washed a few every day items. I would have expected a sink to perform much better than this. I feel that the sink is not fit for use for washing up dishes!. I would not recommend any one to buy a Franke Stainless Steel sink....
